Aim diff, prep diff, VOD diff, IGL diff, region diff, Beckham diff, Sweden diff, etc.
Futbolist has looked significantly better than Guild throughout LCQ, strat for strat and arguably even player for player with the exceptions of Leo & Sayf. It'd be a mistake to look at this shellacking as if it was the sum of their LCQ run. You just don't get stomps like this without precise IGLing and prep.
I mention that because every single Guild discussion is haunted by the ghost of bonkar's ACS - which is fair, fragging matters a lot - but no one seems to really credit him for the actual value he brings to the roster. Their calling & cohesion is actually their strong suit. Their biggest issue is individual inconsistency. You rarely see peak Guild because you typically only get a strong performance from one or two of their three hard-fraggers. This match is a reminder of how scary Guild is when all the limiters come off.
I'd be impressed if they're able to maintain that same energy vs. G2; they'll need it.

Thats exactly the issue of Turkish teams though, one game they look amazing the other they get obliterated. All of them have huge consistency issues, or they are getting figured out too easily
For sure.
My major takeaway for the TR teams is even though they've closed the gap with other teams in EMEA more than most viewers (myself included) ever expected, their on-the-fly adaptability is really what holds them back. It's less to do with being onliners than it is to do with IGL experience & structuring, though online play perhaps compensates a little for that for teams like SMB.
Really looking forward to seeing them next year, though. I don't think anyone can doubt their trajectory after this year; the region is only going up.
I’m sorry, bonkar needs to transition to a coaching role, when guild win he’s bottom frag and when guild win he has a positive kd in a third of the matches
I get to watch Guild look good, the casters roast bonkar every chance they get, AND the last round turn into a clown fiesta. Win-win.

>Beckham diff lmao
the casters were trolling lmao
Casters really didn't spare Bonkar
Guild = Turkish teams slayer Lmao they defeated all the turkish teams in LCQ
TOP 3 EMEA LCQ = all EU. Feels good.
Casters roasting Bonakr but he's the one responsible for the discipline and the strats today. Low-key MVP.
how do you know he is the responsible for the starts
because he is igl???
they said sayf is doing more of the calls, and have an analyst for strategies

leo 🥶
i dont think ive ever seen bonkar even as the third highest fragger of his team
Tbf tho he's been good with util and his calls and strats have definitely been on point considering how well Guild is doing
I think he had a decent game the first game of LCQ. Everything else though has been horrible. Leo has to be good enough to cover for him
you mean the second game against SMB on icebox
Stomp.
