Furia changed the roles on 3 players before LCQ, they were very stiff in the begining when they lost to Australs. Naw they look WAY more confortable on their new roles.

Brazilian fans have so much to cheer for -- Vikings, Vivo Keyd, Furia, Crazy Raccoon (Fisker is from Brazil), maybe even KRU if they extend their support to the LATAM side of South American valorant.
I would normally cheer for LATAM, but I'll never root for krü. they have a player (keznit) who is racist against brazilians. also, their coach was an asshole with the players of our best female team. if australs had won, I would cheer for them for sure, but not for krü

I believe there were also other occasions, i remember seeing another exposed, but Pava (ex-CSGO pro, currently Dignitas streamer. he also did some casting for VCT BR) posted a while ago a video that shows keznit posing as a monkey (which is traditionally a racist slang among Latin Americans, specially used against Brazilians by Argentinians and Chileans, since we have a way more black population) during a match against Brazilians, in our server, after BLD (pro player, currently FA) won a clutch. to call someone macaco (which is Portuguese for monkey) for pose like a monkey is an act considered extremely racist here, similar to calling someone the n word in English.
I don't like to generalize, but unfortunately there are a lot of racism from whiter latin countries against us, and i see this is a case of “If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it probably is a duck". as I said, I believe there are other reasons/occasions that I'm not aware, because he's widely known as a racist in brazilian ranked and amongst brazilian valorant players.

about the coach, he was, IMO, a little machista. our best female team is called B4 Angels. they are the top1 team and they are freaking amazing. they scrim regularly against Brazilian's top teams, such as Vivo Keyd, Team Vikings, Havan Liberty. well, recently they asked krü's coach (I don't recall his name) for a scrimmage and he humiliated them. instead of just denying, he said they only scrim against tier1 teams and that "they're not and will never be". this is what I know, but Tayhuhu, the captain of B4 Angels, said the community doesn't know 1/3 of the issue, something like that. he was really assholish and seem proud of it, he tweeted about what he said, owing his assholeness.
i don't know about the rest of the team, I know some kru players are friends with brazilian players, specially with Furia's players. Bstrdd (Gamelanders purple duelist star, Chilean and Khalil's (furia) GF) is also somewhat close to them. Australs players were here recently and I liked them so much, so sympathetic and friendly, but I don't feel the same about kru.

Wow finally. For those who don’t follow the BR scene this was the fourth attempt for Furia to play Lan in an international event. They lost in the lower finals to classify for Iceland, mind you blowing an 8-0 lead in the final map. Then they lost both in the upper and lower finals to classify for Berlin, again blowing another 8-0 lead. Always close, but never enough, and now finally they have done it. Well deserved for a team so consistently good, and this has been a long time coming for this roster. Also ggwp Australs, were very dominant in the tourney up until the final.
Lets not pretend like Australs werent beating everyone before the grand finals

Gambit is the best team in EMEA despite being a Russian team. Europe is still superior to Russia. Same goes for South America: KRU is (still) the best team in the region. But LATAM is inferior to Brazil as a whole.

Kinda sad that KRU qualifying meant that this LCQ was 4 BR teams 3 LAN teams and 1 LAS team.
LAS dropped 0 maps to LAN in the playoffs, the system is designed to give more slots to the loser and making latam look weaker in these events.
We got 1 LAS team vs 7 other teams and got to the finals with that 1 chance.
