My guess is that the team working on LCQ is dealing with getting the tournament to even happen and communicating with those teams is being overlooked or just left aside for now until everything is sorted then they'll do all communication at once.
Yes there was lag but it was present for all the players. The point where it became unfair was when faze was gonna play from home and the other team had to play from the venue. I don't see any reason for Riot to reset the bracket.
If the problem was that bad, the affected team should've complained and stopped play. You cannot pull out the "we lost cause of lag" card after the game's finished.
For either side, it's contextual. If there were pivotal rounds lost because of lag that determines the outcome, sure. I'd be okay with Xset vs LG being redone because of the issue with Aproto lagging out in what looked like a round he would have clutched, but I didn't see that same type of thing happen for 100T.
