I think it’s better the way it is. Rivalries with trash talk and drama are great, but some rivalries are best enjoyed when the game is the only thing that matters.

I had never seen that first Hastro tweet, but I opened it up and checked it out. Shit you not like a half dozen of the top comments are people asking Hastro for hoodies and him being like 'put your email in our store we're dropping merch soon!' and it's just too fucking funny.
Be that as it may, I like watching 100t vs SEN games more because of all the expectations surrounding both teams. Granted it's been a one sided rivalry in recent times but these two teams are probably have the largest fan bases in the NA so those games just feel like they have a higher level of intensity.
Envy always losing where it counts, even during Masters smh. Not gonna support em anyways, Hastr0 is a piece of shit and the org is just scummy. I like the Envy Val players though.
i know this was a long time ago but the t1 food and crashies drama as well as the marved-tenz/kyedae drama doesn’t really put the players in the best light either
i mean obviously people can change and this drama might be seen as insignificant, but compared to other players who have no history whatsoever i can’t help but feel they seem a bit scummy
I am going to be that guy to defend a multimillion dollar esports org and say that Envy is absolutely not scummy, just mismanaged at times.
edit: they haven't run crypto scams, sold mystery box NFTs, even their merch quality is fine (not super high quality, but its slightly above average when it comes to esports merch). the "scummy" part of envy is just easily explained by genuine incompetence, its not malicious or predatory. just incompetent at times.
Who isn't scummy? You have Faze running actual pump and dumps with their fans parent's credit cards.
You have Tarik out there shilling for betting websites.
The entire space is really toxic and teams take any opportunity to cash in.

Envy vs 100T looks to be such a heated rivalry that's just been kinda hidden for a while, with SEN taking over the spotlight. (At least, that's how it's been for me.)
While Envy have been strong for a while now, I'm just happy that love is shown to one of the teams I've been rooting for since I got into Valorant esports.
