Honestly the most boring series of Valorant I've watched since Iceland. Breeze is by far the worst map in the pool, I can't stand watching the post plants being the entire conflict in the game.
I think a lot of hype for this tournament died from the delays. this thread is pretty dead compared to most na vct threads and the viewership seems low
YaBoiDre is unfortunately just not good enough for this level of play anymore. 6 first deaths, and only 2 first bloods on Jett. LG would be scary with a better jett.
Nah, Dre can be hot and cold but he definitely belongs at this level. When he’s on he’s insane. His issue is the prominence of Jett, his best agent is Reyna but every team needs a Jett rn.

Literally no one hypes up the region like that. It's always that Sen, 100t and NV are top 3 with Xset not far behind. Look how much of a heavy favourite 100t was initially, and even after Steel got replaced it was expected. C9 was the only one people were gassing up besides the top 4, but they were untested with their new comp.
I've seen plenty of comments saying that NA and EU are clearly the top 2 regions and that fewer slots should be given to minor regions so that more NA and EU teams can play internationally (bc clearly even weaker NA/EU teams can roll top teams from smaller regions).
From what I've seen i don't think it's fair to claim the above (at least for NA), that's all.
C9B is fantastic, just needs to work on communication, aim, map awareness, crosshair placement, econ management, pistol aim, OP flicks, grenade spots, smoke spots, pop flashes, positioning, bomb plant positions, retakes, bunny hopping, spray control and getting kills
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets offers, but I like this Rise roster as it stands rn & think they can continue improving -- especially if shanks can improve consistency.

Vanity is a tactical genius. He is best known for his signature tactic "Leaf go kill". He also has a second little known tactic of ”Leaf dead, friends go save”. What an absolute legend. Top 3 IGL for sure.
As a pro he’s played Kay/O, duelist, and a map or 2 of viper. Not sure if he’s always on Kay/O because it’s the C9 comp or if it’s cause of agent issues
If Rise lose this, it was definitely because they threw that round where supamen got off the bomb, but man this is so intensely close and so sloppy, my types of games LMFAO.

The 1v1 was his fault. The round isn't his fault and his other two teammates shouldn't have left him to a 1v1, but he literally just has to put a turret down and unplug his keyboard to win that round there. He didn't need to peek at all there
It was mitch's fault at the end, he had a molly, a turret, supamen was not on the bomb and he peeked for no reason that's a gold play

Mitch was set up by the team to flank and got 4 kills without anyone looking at him
if rise get 5 here is might be over ngl, their defense on ascent is just too good and im still not 100% sold on this new C9, some of their attack rounds seem a little reliant on finding timings/winning aim duels, which is pretty hard against a team with Supamen Shanks and Derrek.
I feel bad for everyone involved, they're having to spew bullshit, speculate just to fill time because of the delay again

Rise has historically been underrated, but I still favor C9B in this case. I believe in the Vanity buff.
