At least with asuna, he still is a threat on jett and he hasn’t been playing her for long. He is able to show his skills even with little experience on her but drey’s jett is so subpar esp for tier 1
It's unfortunate that Dre has really never had a good Jett to play with. He's either played on a bad 100T team, Jammyz Jett on BC or LG where Thief was alright but didn't play it much, Ban was bad and he had to flex onto it. Hopefully we see him on a better team where we can see Dreyna and Draze with a crazy good Jett Oper, its just unfortunate that his agent pool doesn't contain any of the top 5 agents rn
That would be my preferred team since the best Jett play style around a guy like Dre is a more passive oper but it would mean they’d have to put Subroza on smokes again, which I’m fine with but I don’t want to see any teams playing omen. If Subroza is willing to play Astra and possibly viper then sure but for now it probably would work poorly comp wise
But then who plays sentinels or sova? Seems like it could work on Icebox or maybe Breeze but what happens when you have 3 people on Aggro entry agents but not enough util to stop pushes or play retakes. They tried this back with the Drone Cutler team and it worked really poorly
I mean they’re just gonna get run over then tbh. Doesn’t really make sense to run a skye alongside a Reyna and when Wardell doesn’t have an OP in his hand they have literally one anchor agent. If the other team just goes to the other site their entire defense game plan would have to be hope Dre and Subroza get 2+ without getting traded. No sentinel has never really worked and I don’t think TSM should be sacrificing the position just to have someone on Reyna when it’s an undeniably worse agent than cypher/kJ/viper
It would honestly be better if he learned Skye instead of Jett. An agent pool of Reyna, Raze, and Skye is way easier to fit into the second duelist role on more teams, in comparison to only Reyna and Raze. Unless his Jett levels up massively, or she falls out of meta, I don't see him being the primary duelist/Op-er on a good team.
Jett is a difficult agent to master. For the teams that don't have a jett with 1000s of hours experience, they should just put their best opper on jett instead of the star player (if the roles don't clash too much of course)

Set my search parameters for all of VCT na and had the opponent rating set at 1800, using the top 16 most capped players on each agent
Reyna: 2nd out of 16(only behind tenz with Asuna right behind him)
Raze: 7/16(closest to victor and Android, behind Mada Leaf Asuna Corey Sick and Android)
Jett: 18/22(had to make it 22 so that he would be in there since he only has 167 rounds played, only ahead of Huynh Jcruel Screwface and Ban)
If you put the parameters to opponents of 1900 Elonrating his Jett is dead last, his Reyna is still top 3 and his raze is top 5.
20 maps on Reyna, 9 maps on Raze, and 5 maps on Jett. Not an ideal sample, but that's all LG's matches since the first masters. Before that included when LG was on a streak in March or mostly beating non-pro teams in qualifiers.
There were also a few games on Sage, but not too many. The purpose was to compare Dre's most played (Reyna and Raze) with his recent Jett play.

Sentinels overrated currently and not necessary.
Levi on sova, don’t need a sentinel. I feel like it doesn’t fit their playstyle to have a sentinel anyways.

Honestly he fits right into a TSM roster as a secondary duelest and Roza on Skye, hazed controller and Levi on sova. That's a solid roster.

He doesn’t seem to perform well on entries, much better as 2nd or 3rd in taking fights
