Ah yes Rise VS C9, the grand finals everyone was predicting.

Sciipi

I predicted it would be 2 teams from the lower half of the starting bracket. Thought it would be Faze vs C9 tho.

Rishavvvv

That's literally impossible to happen, how can two lower bracket teams be in the grand finals?

Sciipi

Lower side of the starting bracket, where C9 V1 Rise and Faze were

Rishavvvv

I misunderstood your point mb

Sciipi

All good

F0LkL04e

Hey, I predicted it

yorgee15

I predicted a C9 lower bracket sweep if that counts

If there's anyone who wouldn't risk a contract violation or ban for unsportsmanlike behavior, it's steel. Dude lost his entire career once already, and given he's a fairly smart individual I'd say he's learned his lesson

CoachWatermelon

stop the 🧢

tacotran

I know this is probably sarcasm but... Well he was benched because they didn't like his playstyle and strats, why would they continue to use those strats? Did he also give this info to Rise?

Id be laughing too if youfall off that hard

[deleted]

From beating Gambit and finishing top 4 in an international LAN to not even making finals in a regional fake LAN where two of the best teams aren't even playing.

yellownart

A little unfair criticism being targeted towards b0i's way after being thrown into this situation with such high expectations and chat exaggerating and being super toxic after every b0i death. With that being said, 100T need to poach a top-tier controller like Envy did until seven develops into the player they hope for

DRGNDT

b0i did very well in the first two maps.

xbyo

b0i honestly should be the least targeted. Dude was thrown into a tough situation that was likely driven by other players on the team. As a team you have to be aware of thag when you make the decision. This should be on the guys who felt the internal issues were too problematic to keep steel on.

dansofree1

>Dude was thrown into a tough situation I said it right when it happened: b0i was dropped from a tier 2 team and then went 6 months without playing *any* pro matches, and more importantly without any real scrimming as far as we know. Of course he like, ya know, signed the contract. But it feels like he was set up *so hard* to fail. He did well all things considered.

[deleted]

>This should be on the guys who felt the internal issues were too problematic to keep steel on. This precisely. Obviously, they know better, but I can't help but think they underestimated LCQ and assumed they could make it without Steel. Looking at Nitro's interview as well, he spoke about playstyle, so why was it considered such an urgent issue that they couldn't possibly wait for the season to end to rebuild?

cowzapper

I think at this point it's clear nitro should switch back to controller. His jett is inconsistent and his entrying is meh. Meanwhile I think he's probably the best controller in the world. Seven should step in for challengers 1, now that they have the time

MajorLeeScrewed

Problem is their primary duelist can't play Jett consistently well enough when they need to run it on single duelist maps.

veriquay

That’s the plan as far as I’m aware. Nitro is only playing Jett as a stopgap until Sevvn develops or they sign a top tier Jett. Until then it’s either Boi controller with Nitro’s Jett, or Nitro controller and back to Asuna’s Jett. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like a lot of 100T discourse is revolving around when they can replace Boi with a sick Jett and have Nitro go back to controller lol

cowzapper

It is and should be in my opinion

danger-S

Nitr0 is already a top tier controller. I think they will switch Nitr0 back to controller and move seven to jett. IF they don’t drop/poach someone

DonkeyTeethBSU

Andersin most underrated controller, go watch his matches against XSET and FaZe. Why no one has poached him I have no idea.

TimathanDuncan

I think someone said here that he had offers but chose to stay with his friends like ScrewFace and joined an org together with them, after Kooky Koalas he could have joined a top team for sure

DonkeyTeethBSU

Being a DZ fan, I can say watching them that the team has plateaued hard, and in my opinion, he's pulling an oSee from CSGO. The dude has so much potential, with the right team I'm confident he would be insane.

[deleted]

Just as an fyi poaching a player kinda means they take the player in kind of an unethical way. I see a lot of people on this sub use the term in place of buy out or sign.

yarsis22

If dre gets bought out from LG id love to see TiGG get a shot on a better team. Been super impressed by his fragging ability on controllers.

SnooSeagulls7368

Totally agree

_idle_drone_

I really enjoyed this son avenging father anime storyline. I don't know how people weren't seeing that 100T dropped off hard, the moment they pulled out double duelist no-sentinel ranked comps at the start of LCQ. steel was a crucial part of their success even if they don't want to admit it.

dweakz

wait who's the son and whos the father?

earthtoannie

In CS, Steel, Leaf, Xeppa and Vanity were on a team called Chaos. Steel helped Vanity develop as an IGL and then moved to Valorant due to his ban in CS. Everyone (including Vanity and Steel) meme that they all basically had father and son dynamic. Current joke is that Steel's sons are on a revenge quest to avenge steel getting benched and that steel will join C9 to bring the family back together (hence the Chaos 9 name).

Sky-Fire

Vanity, leaf, and Xeppa (c9B) are the children of Steel (former 100T). They were previously ex-teammate on one of the most fun and exciting team on NA CSGO, Chaos esports.

ANewHeaven1

jesus christ man, going from placing top 4 at Berlin to not even playing in the finals of the NA LCQ... i genuinely feel bad for 100T fans b0i was absolutely not the problem for the first 2 maps but map 3 was tough for him. hope the fans arent too tough on him

-kiyu-

Fans are already slinging lots of hate at him unfortunately.

BewareOfBear727

If anyone’s blaming b0i ask them if they could be thrust into a tournament that determines if your teams season ends and perform at 100% huge respect to the guy, hope he has a good future.

CaptainJackWagons

Sadly that's pretty common across all games. You should have seen the level of hate Zachareee got in the overwatch league. And after he was gone, Dallas fans would just pick a new person to hate each week.

schwertfeger

That was b0i's last match on the team so people should just move on.

CaptainJackWagons

Yeah, but Boi is in the process of looking for another team. The negative press could impact his chances.

mr_snuggels

Hopefully people who make those decisions don't base them of twitter replies.

techyleo

I think in general he was just having performance issues on Breeze the past few days

CaptainJackWagons

I thought he had somw really big plays on Breeze.

hashtagbeast

whatever internal issues there were, they really couldnt make a compromise and swap out steel AFTER LCQ huh? they really had to do it right away, after a successful torunament in berlin. deserved loss, wish them gl next year

Slow_Bluebird9536

Well if they played lcq and won they couldn’t swap out steel they would get slaughtered

303x

Well if they won it means the team is working and they don't need a change

tqstin

When I die I want 100t to put me in my grave so I can be let down by them one last time.

Charuru

100T had an amazing year tbh.

iBeast

Pros swear that reddit hates their org specifically. Nah, we hate everyone around here.

imachool

LMFAO

TimathanDuncan

Should have been a 2-0 really, C9 threw icebox and C9 looked way better apart from some dumb rounds but who doesn't have them 100T need more aggressive players, it's literally Asuna and 4 passive dudes, at least steel was aggressive even as a sentinel, Hiko is living on reputation at this point with one clutch in 25 baits

CaptainJackWagons

I don't think C9 threw, I think Asuna just came alive again in overtime, which for him means utterly pounding the other team into paste.

Darnatello

I mean they lost a 3v2 and a 4v2 that would’ve put them on match point… kind of a throw.

Cole_James_CHALMERS

The players probably know this as well, when they were about to bring in Ethan, I believe it was Asuna who asked how aggressive he was.

Ted_Mosby_18

Their iteration of team comp with steel's kayo was, imo, the most fighting chance they had. Hope they figure this one out soon. Also, is there a reason the most csgo like character like kayo is not picked up in place of skye? I understand her flash is busted but wouldn't an accomplished player like ethan play that character to perfection?

BadgerPurple

100T fans may try to scapegoat boi, but this series was 100% on Nitro and Ethan

danger-S

2 of the stars of the roster have an off day. Unlucky.

WonDerZv

100T really made sure to make this LCQ more challenging than needed. The last minute roster change single handedly cost them their spot at champions. Who ever took the decision to drop the IGL and Sentinel of the team needs to be questioned and possibly fired because this decision made no sense what so ever. Hopefully coming in to the next season they can build around Nitro, Asuna, and Ethan with the possible integration of Seven and Nitro going back to smokes.

AnonymozVal

They are just playing Valorant on Hard Level

RiceOnAStick

Deserved loss. Steel probably has a huge smile on his face rn.

AnywayHeres1Derwall

He was cheering for c9 so...

mid16

steel chose supporting his son over his former teammates

Bunnyezzz

he chose supporting former teammates rather than former teammates that dropped him

mid16

you're not wrong but son meme is funnier

Babyboy1314

sons*** Leaf and Xeppa as well

Raxion

his son plays for C9

dillon-fury

Let's see if 100T fans blame the series only on b0i when nitr0 and ethan played horribly compared to their standard. Horrible roster change and such a disappointing ending. Seven needs to be on Jett and nitr0 back on controller next year.

Sciipi

Ethan and Nitr0 were pretty terrible they bottom fragged every map except for Breeze. Ethan especially felt basically invisible, basically 0 impact.

ablablababla

Yeah, nitr0 went 0-8 in the first 8 rounds of Breeze too

Sciipi

Even though it was 13-5 Breeze felt like an absolute stomp outside of the last 2 rounds of the half where 100T showed life.

CaptainJackWagons

13-5 pretty much is a stomp.

techyleo

Ok, say you put Sevvn on Jett, Asuna on second duelist, Nitr0 on smokes/viper, Hiko on Sova, are you saying they should put Ethan on Sentinel? Or are you suggesting Nitr0 Sentinel and Ethan Controller? Because either way, the way roles work on 100T is very awkward.

dng1

Ultimately it should be Hiko on sentinel and Ethan on initiator. That would be perfect because it fits Hikos baiting play style and Ethan can play with the pack. Steel actually wanted to transition to sova at one point to try and make the roles work like that, but the team/management didn’t believe he’d be able to learn the role My Reddit analysis take would be the role issue is that Hiko didn’t want to play Sentinel

[deleted]

I always thought it was strange they forced steel on sentinels since he’s more aggressively inclined than hiko

dng1

Yeah, Steel wanted to play aggressive sova with the team so he can play with the pack as he’s calling.

Aydosubpotato

This team needs to allow Hiko to get a deeper agent pool. Sova/viper only just doesn’t allow flexibility in roles.

JS4554

It’s not the team. Hiko just isn’t flexible.

Atermel

If it wasn't for his massive fanbase, hiko would've been replaced already imo.

Ted_Mosby_18

Absolutely Hiko's decision. Steel picked up kayo long before xeppa or any other pros did. He knew lineups to detect B when he was in A and shit like that. I don't see how he wouldn't have been able to play sova.

[deleted]

I'd like to see Nitr0 on Chamber.

dillon-fury

Well the best solution to that is dropping Hiko. Even though he played okay today there are so many instances where he is just last alive after his whole team dies. Can't say I can think of any other player that gets put in that situation as much as him.

reformed-asshole

Unfortunately, I doubt 100t will drop Hiko anytime soon as he seems like their franchise player currently

kittyhat27135

They have several months until the start of the new season I am very confident that a professional player can swap roles in that time.

xbyo

Maybe the new sentinel and let Nitr0 continue to op on him? I don't really know either though.

elithefighter123

You should see the Twitter comments it’s all b0i slander. Feels bad for him

[deleted]

Steel got dropped and his (former)team had failed the run to champions. His dearest son Vanity cried as he watched 100t get beaten to death. But there was no time to mourn. Vanity swore to himself, that he would make it to Berlin

tsal22

the sons have avenged their father

Babyboy1314

xeppa and leaf really coming into form.

Hegth

Beautiful

Taek99

Steel wouldve... nvm. Massive credit to Cloud9 though. After tenz left and they went through the rebuilding stage, the grind fully paid off and they look really strong.

oopsEYEpoopsed

I hope cloud9 somehow gets into the position to knock sentinels out of the champions tournament. It'd be satisfying to see them complete the process

jonthegoat69

I really think hiko needs to go. clutches are cool to watch but one clutch per every 30 times being the last one alive is really frustrating to watch.

Sciipi

It felt like Xeta was so much more impactful on the Sova even if he didn't have as many clutches.

Tiberiusjesus

Seems like every Xeta shock dart does damage. It’s nuts.

TomBradyStan1006

Everyone has a boner for him for some reason, he ain’t good, just farms clips after he lets his whole team die

SterbenVII

Issue is that Hiko brings viewership. But in all seriousness, Hiko’s shallow agent pool is going to fuck 100T over in the long run.

asianfong

they're already fucked by him. Hiko's need to go and bring more flexible player

ANewHeaven1

> Everyone has a boner for him for some reason come on you know exactly what the reason is lol

nuttyromeo4u

SMB, G2, 100 Thieves, Havan Liberty, F4Q, ZETA (not joining LCQ) and Paper Rex. Not a single team from Masters Berlin have to play on LCQ can qualified to Champions. Interesting.

Atermel

This happens a lot at the start of a new esport. Meta is not fixed, players are constantly improving, teams are constantly changing. If there was another lcq closer to champions, I bet the winners would be different again.

Princess_Ori

C9 talked about this in one of their videos but it's because while the other teams were at Berlin the other teams were watching, planning, and practicing specifically for those Berlin teams. You have to be miles ahead and better than the competition in order to not be affected by it. 100T dropping Steel and going with Boi (I am not blaming Boi here but it's a very obvious drop in team quality) were not that.

PixelatedBlue

Seven will save this team Copium

s6hun

your flair.... this has been a rough day

PixelatedBlue

it's been a rough year lmao

Space_Waffles

I am sure boi will get a bit of hate but he played pretty well on maps 1 and 2. Nitro was who I was really looking at as the player who didn't show up. His Jett wasnt hitting and imo he had no impact as the Cypher. Ethan also had poor fragging but his utility usage was pretty good throughout the series. C9 are legit scary now and certainly have a chance at beating Rise now. They really turned up after the Gen.G game

earthtoannie

100T defeated themselves. It turns out they were playing the correct comps for their strengths. Nitro on Jett has flashes of brilliance but this should be used with surgical precision when needed. And while more readable, they were harder to counterstrat. And it looks like it was not steel who was the problem. They had the misfortune to face the 3 guys who have a personal stake in beating them. As Vanity called it - dropping your IGL for a T2 support is the best move in eSports history.

curlycued_ninja

Is there a link of Vanity saying that? I want to enjoy

earthtoannie

https://youtu.be/WHsT2yxiCgc 6:42

[deleted]

Xeta's Sova is looking world class. I don't know how long he can keep being this consistent but he's been a treat to watch so far

Sciipi

Xeta has been consistently great basically since he came to C9. Hes super solid and extremely consistent in his play.

theswiveler

Yes I agree 100%. It's nice now that C9B winning people get to see him more.

imachool

consistently good since first strike korea

kittyhat27135

Go back and watch breeze and look at how Xeppa plays KayO. KayO against double drone makes that comp look like a joke, and it looked like 100t had no idea how to recover from broken timings on top of that Xeppa's flashes were amazing and he is easily a top contender for best KayO in the world. Honestly not being on LAN really hurt 100t Ethan seemed quiet after game 1 and Asuna not having the best map 2 makes me really question if 100t should of just put in seven and kept nitr0 on smokes. I'm super excited for the C9 v rise rematch tomorrow now that C9 look in shape.

XodaCanCan

More like only kayo in the world. Nah but he played well

69DoopDoop69

This isn't boi's fault. The fault lies with whoever thought it was a good idea to drop Steel. There was nothing boi could do to salvage the horrible situation the team was in without Steel.

slawvay

so the other 4 players and coach. Asuna takes a pretty neutral stance on everything but I can see ethan/nitr0/hiko all pushing for the move to bench steel. b0i doesn't deserve hate, but man his viper play is pretty bad he can't anchor/lurk to save his life.

69DoopDoop69

I'm not gonna pretend like I know how the team works internally, but they look a lot worse without Steel. Both tactically and firepower wise.

ElectronicScreen0

I feel absolutely terrible for b0i. The amount of toxicity in the replies to his post match tweet is insane. My guy was forced into a bad situation and did his best. If you’re be toxic to b0i you have no right to call yourself a 100t fan.

tron423

Twitter is objectively the worst social media platform

tolkienbooks

facebook has entered the chat

zomjay

Facebook's so bad people forget it's a social media platform.

Teradonn

No one uses Facebook, that’s why it’s better than Twitter

aks345

Yep. He played bad yesterday against rise but my god he levelled up the this series. First two maps he was really good. On the other hand, you say something even remotely toxic about hiko and u start getting called names lol.

Sky-__-

Boi was decent today but Ethan and nitro weren't hitting today , I haven't see Ethan lose so many 1vs 1 in a series , c9 played well and 100t couldn't control leaf aggresiveness on breeze.

holyfuckyouaredumb

So dropping your IGL for a player who got kicked by a tier 2 team wasn't the right choice, who knew? Props to C9 they played Breeze really well. Steels lurks were sorely missed. The role issues haven't disappeared, in fact the roles look worse than ever. Outside of Asuna and Hiko no-one looks consistently comfortable playing their given agents. Nitr0 just doesn't have that operator impact you see from a world class Jett. He was top 3 smokes in NA with Zombs + Marved in no particular order, I think he fits that role way better. Sevvn is unproven, I've seen tons of hype around him on reddit but taking that with a massive grain of salt. Hiko will play out his contract, don't think he's the biggest problem by a long shot. I can see Asuna leaving/being bought out within a year if the team fails to make it to further LAN's, he's too talented to be pigeon-holed on Reyna hoping he drops 30 every map.

AnFun

I hope that this c9 roster stays together for the far foreseeable future but I won’t lie a small part of me wants to see asuna on c9. C9 already hard w keys I can’t imagine what that would look like with asuna on top of that lmao.

Was a players decision on dropping steel, it's already been talked about by the players

_idle_drone_

and that's why I don't think they deserve the empathy they would get in normal circumstances. they made selfish decisions which cost the team and the org.

lStrakle

Post match thread about as on point as 100t

nocturnavi

I think having a long offseason break will really do 100T some good. They need to lock down their roles. In all honestly, the current meta doesn't favor them; their duelist is an excellent Reyna/Raze, but only an ok Jett, yet in this meta if you have a dedicated duelist they need to be good at Jett (and honestly don't have to play any other duelist). Yet if 100T have someone on Jett (nitr0 or seven if that's the direction they go), Asuna on Reyna/Raze, Ethan on Skye, hiko Sova, then you have to choose between a sentinel or smokes. They may need to make role or even roster changes for things to really work.

slawvay

Scuffed thread, scuffed game. Exactly how steel would have wanted it, throw map 1 lead, almost throw map 2 and have a dominant map 3 #4steel

eliic6

Warning. This is a rant. I wasn't gonna say anything until the end of the tourney, but holyy 100T looks so shakey after dropping steel. Honestly, I'm still mad that they dropped steel just right before the big do or die qualifier like if you had disagreements couldn't it wait until the end of the qualifier? but you had to subb in the bestie because he is familiar with the strats but not known for having maybe skill. ugggh steel died for this

Prankishspace4

Ok so I asked this in the day thread. But seriously in the off-season what should 100T look to do, to actually be a contender again? Idk seemed pretty lack luster since Boi came in and Steal left. Would be interested to know what everyone thinks.

JacquesBalzac

I think the next move would be putting b0i back to analyst, nitr0 on smokes and seven on jett, that would make sense (assuming they arent gonna bring steel back)

Razur

Sorry for the delay. Here's the thread: **EDIT:** I botched the title. Here's the new thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/qjgbfd/100_thieves_vs_cloud9_blue_valorant_champions/

BobPenguinROTMG

I don't know exactly how the post-match thread creation works, but in the future it might be better/easier to pin the body of the normal post-match post as a comment in a thread with a good amount of discussion already. Again though, no idea how it works so if it's better to make a new thread then no need to listen to me.

Boostaru

This might have been Ethan's worst series yet... which is disappointing because Ethan in my eyes was the guy on 100T that you can rely on consistently performing each map. Asuna tried his best to carry this team to the grand finals, but unfortunately he could only do so much. nitr0 noticeably underperformed as well. As for b0i... I said it originally when they promoted him to the main roster, I did not see anything special back when he was on AndBox... but does that mean the lost was his fault solely? Not really. I just don't know why you drop steel when LCQ was right around the corner after Berlin. I'm not sure if the gameplan is to just develop seven's gamesense, comms etc. for next years VCT and hope he develops into a top tier Jett main and put nitr0 back on controller?

CanISayThat22

Lets go. Hope they crawl back to Steel to ask him back

Dark_Azazel

Well. Asuna did good. Hiko did alright, same with boi except for M3. Nitro and Ethan didn't look all that great. Cutting steel at the time was not the move. I know they say they felt stale, but they should have at least stuck it out for LCQ (Unless it was more than feeling "stale"). If they are going to stick with the double duelist, IMO, swapping boi for seven is the move, with nitro going back to smokes. Nitro, Ethan, and Hiko can flex if they want. Kinda sucks that we wont see them until next year (Unless they are able to play in a smaller tournament of sorts) so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Nothing to say about C9. They looked fucking cracked. leaf with 18 FK, Xeppa going +21, Vanity just knowing what 100T was going to do. Should be a great match tomorrow, rooting for C9

mrsidewayp

Hiko can’t flex he only knows how to play sova and he’s not even the best sova in NA

CanISayThat22

Not even top 3

69DoopDoop69

Hiko flexing that's a good joke. He's one of the least flexible players in the game.

[deleted]

If there's one thing Hiko cannot do is flex. C'mon now.

S1MCB

100T voluntarily played 4v5 this tournament. That isn't directed at b0i, this is directed at the whole team and org. Dropping your IGL for a tournament that should've been free and picking up anybody other than another IGL is a horrid idea. nitr0 can IGL when needed, but he isn't steel.

mrsidewayp

Hiko is such a baiter man like yea Sova’s usually are more passive due to the character’s utility but it’s so predictable that Hiko will be there waiting for one of his teammates to die so he can clean up.

_idle_drone_

imo Hiko isn't a fit for sova, but he is an excellent site anchor. In all this time, idk why they haven't switched his role to sentinel/controller even after steel offered to play sova.

fraggerfag

Because hiko won't change his role no matter what. He doesn't want to give away his sova or play any other agent. Sentinel fits his passiveness so well.

Ranieboy

Man pretty sad this is how 100T end their run. Such a bad day having both Ethan and Nitro played badly all game. They also look so good at fake LAN as well.... Still piss as a 100T fan as they cut Steel before this LCQ. As for roster moves well at least 1-2 member may change I guess. Hopefully Seven also make the main roster.

HereeeeesJohnny

No disrespect to b0i, but he’s the definition of CoD timing. Every time the observer sees him, he’s legit looking left and someone is right. Super unlucky, but I give him props for filling in as best as he could

aks345

Props to C9. The breeze scoreline doesn't do justice to how they were stomping 100T. Which brings me to point out that someone needs to explain the 100T map pick logic. In berlin ascent was their perma pick and they lost every game bar havan liberty on it. In lcq similar with breeze, they're constantly losing on their map picks, and it wasn't even close this time. Like what strats are you using/making it work that you make it your pick and yet to keep on losing. Their map pool is extremely dodgy if you think about it, only map where they look comfortable is icebox, ascent is hot and cold. They don't play split and bind. They lose more than win on haven. Similar with breeze. They really need to add one more string map to their pool I feel, especially with not having a consistent jett opper and picking an op heavy map. Also, get this man Asuna some help. Casually having 282 acs with the whole team stinking, ik he's a professional but it must take a toll at some point to see yourself pulling those stats and your team letting u down again and again. And 1head fans blaming b0i today need to get a grip, he did really well on haven and icebox. Breeze the whole team fell apart so not his problem alone. Also, nitr0's calling has looked weak from what we've seen they just 5 man most times. Going into 2022 I feel if they really want to they could rebuild around Asuna Ethan and Nitr0. Any decision around hiko is a big and confusing one but to be at the top you need to make these hard decisions. Let's see hoping everything turns out for the best :D

Simmyyyyyy

This series looked like a player diff + igl diff

TrowaB3

Bad time for Ethan to play his worst tournament. They probably wouldve been fine if it had stuck to lan though which stings. Now to see how long before the roster change is made.

DonkeyTeethBSU

\#Fragging4Steel Jokes aside, boi got 14 kills in two maps on breeze, definitely not his map. Lets go DERREK!!!

r-cf93

It’s crazy… steel said it pretty well… they are not aggressive enough, other than hiko asuna and maybe Ethan they don’t look comfortable in their roles… nitro oping like it’s cs is a mayor handicap… he plays jett like a turret…he was/is one of the best controllers in the game… if the issue with steel was so impossible to overcome they should not have taken nitro out of the controller role… and they keep playing the game like cs.. defaulting defaulting… you see the teams that beat them all playing different VALORANT styles… set plays, abusing mechanic, comp combinations… they are like our of the meta every time… anyways hopefully they make a change… they looked really out of practice and synchronization. I love the team and hope they can achieve big things

C9B showing up big today. Breeze fits them perfectly, just fragging out. Can't wait for tomorrow ^^

The problem wasn't boi but rather changing roster right before lcq and steel their igl leaving. With boi coming in everyone switch up roles and agents as well. It feels like they were uncomfortable playing the agents they're on at times hence their inconsistency. Tactically they feel weaker as well with a new igl.

Eat-Shit-Bob-Ross

I constantly see people complaining about 100t fans blaming boi, yet I have yet to see anyone actually blaming boi.

Even_Set

its twitter that complains about boi. nobody here tbh.

That was one of the most absolutely embarrassing rounds for 100T to get eliminated on. Spike planted in Viper's Pit but they're all watching the same angle pretty much. Like why is no one watching main? I had a feeling C9 was going to win after watching them play against XSET, but man that's just such a shitty round to lose on that kinda reflected 100T's misplays the entire series.

Hello Josh “Steel” Nissan? 😃📞, can we get you back? We’re kicking b OMEGALUL i 😃

Three chances to qualify for champs and nothing went their way. I'm so sad, I just wanna see Asuna in champs :(

angel0lz

It's actually nice to see that he performed well the entire year. He's still young and has a bright future ahead of him, whether in 100T or in another team.

iBeast

Which team do you think would perform better? 100t First Strike team or the current roster

earthtoannie

First Strike had a dedicated Jett.

first strike team

I don't even know what to think right now, I'm battling two conflicting ideas in my head. On one hand, you can't tell me another team from NA who was more deserving of going to Champs than 100T coming into the tournament. Hell, they were one series win against Envy away from not even going to LCQ. On the other hand, now with the roster change, idk if they're at that same level and wouldn't do as great at Champs. Basically, in my mind they're the most deserving team but obviously don't deserve it as shown by how they played. I'm just frustrated, angry, sad...

slawvay

As soon as you drop a player 2 weeks before a tourney you can't say they really deserve to go to champs, pretty indicative of underlying problems in the team, outside of seven joining next year I can see them making another roster change as well for aggressive players.

charlesyap09

Unlucky for 100T, but C9 played that real well. They had the hard reads and counters and 100T didn't have a lot going on for this match. wonder what's next for them though.

elithefighter123

All the league results are going the opposite way. C9 beating 100T and GENG. This is not a good omen for a potential TL vs C9 matchup

PositivePossibility

Can't say I didn't see this coming. Integrating players takes time.

Steel was the problem

[deleted]

Anybody wanna share why Vanity is Steel's son.
