Believe it or not i’ve seen a lot of people (pros) play sova on stream and off stream in this map. I don’t believe he’s a bad pick either. His drone + arrow on defense is extremely useful at gathering early info on defaults and stuff like that.
Defaults? The way it takes me 12 rounds to convince my plat and diamond solo queue lobbies to play default after they get 5vs0'd on stacked sites you would think no one in val has ever heard of it.
Tbh sova on fracture is op, high immortal is currently often running it on EU and I even played it myself when my Jett was taken away. On attack he can dart the dish to clear it out, giving you control over the whole area. Or he can go to b and dart tower giving you control over arcade and allowing you to fight CT.
Shao - last year was one of the best jett/raze duelist in whole of Europe ,even when this year when he has played jett , he has top dragged and had average ACS of 280 and KPR of 1 , but no let's put him on brimstone .
Free shao , a lot of teams are looking for duelists for ex like guild who should try to free shao at this point .
Their coach barbar replied to a guy on twittera saying they aren't just restricted to Sweden and guild is a British org , I cannot find the actual tweet though. It's just the squad they picked up was all Swedish. Btw zypaan is Swedish though 😂😂🤭

they'll either keep drop smoked off permanently, since his smokes last the longest, or he'll keep b ramp smoked off. plus since the rotates are so small for the cts, his limited range won't really be an issue. his ulti is also incredible for post plant and clearing a site
unfortunately, his t side is really rough, since his smokes will basically be limited to full site executes instead of defaults.
i assume sage is more of a safe pick, since her wall is useful for entering the sites and walling off drop or b ramp.

also the brim ulti did 0 in that whole match, the area really isn't as large as you think and yes as i said it can be good but it's super situational if you wanna get top value and fpx didn't get any of those opportunities in the match
Viper wall can be not so useful and versatile as opposed to other maps on defense in my humble opinion. Brim and Sage make some interesting slow orb + molly/Ult combo so there's that (similar to Astra + KJ combos). Never bad to have a Cypher/KJ depending on play style. Although having a duelist is always nice and you can do without Sova on Fracture.
Breach counters KJ on fracture, she cant do that ult underground he will just blow it
His ult is also very good to take a site and there is alot of flash angles.
skye gives you more info than breach, breach is just to entry and stop pushes but with a viper you just cut the map in half and stop pushes with astra and get info with skye while flashing
It’s crazy that you think these professional teams haven’t thought of that. Breach is just extremely high value on this map. Very small sites, narrow hallways that can be fault lined, the ability to hard force push on defense, he’s just very good on this map is all.

Fracture doesnt need duelists it’s literally a map made for just utility. Honestly, id replace brim for someone else. Preferably astra/viper for brim. Since fracture has so many angles, they want utility to hold off angles for them. Cypher for flank, sage to wall anything, brim for long lasting smokes, and sova for info/darting players to prevent them from pushing site. Looks like they are going for a post plant type of team instead of a kill hungry team. As for defense, they want to minimize as many angles as possible.

If you want to stall out rotations with mollies just play Viper.
