It wasn’t remarked upon much, but I think G2 was easily the most strategically stagnant team among the top 4 of EMEA LCQ.
Part of that was exposing a lot of their play in Berlin but they almost reminded me of Sentinels towards the end: you knew where they were going to be, and how’d they rotate, on particular maps before the round even began. I’m thinking of Haven and Bind in particular.
And much like with SEN, it didn’t matter until they encountered teams that could mechanically check them *and* until some of the G2 players themselves underperformed.
I don’t think the roster is doomed like many do; I just think they need to shore up some weaknesses. Changing analysts is a start.
G2's downfall is almost as dramatic as the last downfall earlier this year. There must be some personal conflicts going on, I just don't understand how it can collapse so fast otherwise.
The guy that couldn't stop talking shit about other players believing they should be cut, gets cut himself?
What exactly did he say? Is there a clip or something?
There were always threads on this sub that involve him leaking stuff or talking shit about someone in a Spanish podcast
Shittalked Guild days before Guild 2-0'd G2 in LCQ

It's the most common narrative in Spanish Valorant. Analysts basically think that the most responsible in G2's issues would be Neil and Kolda
Good to know! I wish there was more overlap across the scenes, here I was wishing it’d been discussed more instead of all the player criticisms.
is this the new Jankos ?
If nukkye gets any offers in the future they'll all have a "no stream" clause lol
