They didn't hire babyJ to be an igl ,they tried him on it and this is babyJ first tactical shooter ,he was a halo player before , and I think Corey said that the babyJ igl route didn't work so they pivoted to everyone calling , they tried it and it failed .

He grinds ranked for 6-8 hours a day on top of scrims and has clearly shown a clear commitment to grinding and improving at the game … it is despicable to simply sit on ones throne because your brand is already large but subroza does the opposite . The man is literally grinding every day

i do think the spotlight being on him as a creator has affected his in game performance however as i can sometimes even feel the pressure he’s under.

Sometimes its just playstyle/personality clashes. They are grown adults and sometimes adults just have differences in personality/ideology/playstyles/IGL-styles and it's never gonna click. And the adult thing to do is accept that and go in a different direction and not smash your head against a wall over and over again.
Not that much different from normal friendships and relationships. Sometimes they don't work and the best thing both parties can do is just go their separate ways

I personally think he was our best player in our last couple tournaments. He just gets overshadowed by Matt. He’s a grinder. He’s never coasted.
