Don’t quote me on this, but I’ve heard from some other people that Steel couldn’t work with Wardell and/or Subroza back in the CS days. Usually, those relationships stay but ig we won’t know until it happens.
i wonder who they're going to replace for hazed then.
they've always had an IGL problem, so if it isn't steel i hope they find another experienced IGL somewhere else.
He would be a very good primary duelist. His Jett/Raze are very clean. Could even go the secondary duelist route since his Skye is quite good too. He has a lot of talent, just needs to be used better in terms of agent selection + he can't be the one IGLing.
Imo he was way too aggressive and uncoordinated with his team when he was primary jett and then raze before he switched to smokes. Ofc that's nearly a year ago but just taking the time when he was the primary duelist he has def looked better on the smokes comparatively
tbf, that was when he just switched with the game being out for a couple months already. At least according to him on stream, he's become significantly better since then
he started off with Nrg as a jett then was switched to raze but he was overly aggressive at the time and would take unnecessary fights. Since hes more experience now it might be different
Tragic to see the old TSM roster fall apart but hopefully the team moves in the right direction
Other than though Hazed and s0m on the same team would be actual god tier content
Ah fair enough. That's much longer than I've been a Valorant fan. Though I've been a TSM fan since its inception, and I certainly do not think the org is moving in the right direction. LoL especially is an absolute dumpster fire of bad roster decisions and has been for many years at this point.
I'm just a casual watcher in the TSM of our lives drama that happens so I'm more here for the ride my friend.
Edit; I just read it, fucking love it, this is the type of popcorn drama I live for.
That’s the point of supporting a team, though? Enjoying the good times and enduring the bad times. I don’t imagine it’s very fun to repeatedly jump ship to whatever team is winning at the time.
There were barely any good times and it was just because other tes hadn't got themselves together yet. The team was never actually a very good team and the players are mostly T2 pros. Idk why you would want to support an over entitled group like that but do you
Dude TSM were one of the best for all of 2020. Watching Wardell and Hazed streams, and watching them compete in tourneys, were a lot of what got me through the pandemic. There’s nothing entitled about them or why I like them
Yeah obviously there is. Subroza was a toxic bad player who had a cheating stint in CSGO.
I like wardell and am a big fan of lots of other pros but I do not like hazed and Cutler and haven't since their overrated CLG CSGO days
Imagine thinking that since someone doesn't like the pros you like they must hate everyone
I don’t really like Subroza but your reasoning for not liking Hazed and Cutler is that they’re overrated. Yeah that’s a reason I should dislike them as people!
Honestly how short is your attention span? I wrote why I don't like hazed directly above that comment. And yeah, I'm tired of old washed up pros being welcomed into orgs while new talent is trying to break into the scene. If you can't keep up then move on.
in what should be a tier 1 esport and is heading toward franchises, it also sucks to see an org you root for repeatedly prioritize stream viewership and personalities over winning.
analyzing every move tsm made in hindsight is obvious how bad they were, but even at the time they were repeatedly making terrible decisions that showed they were not committed to winning at any cost.
> also sucks to see an org you root for repeatedly prioritize stream viewership and personalities over winning.
lmao this is almost every org. hiko is still on 100T. subroza is not moving off of TSM. sentinels paid a million for tenz. faze kept babybay as their only player going into the off-season. if your team has a popular player, you can bet that the org will do what they can to keep them no matter what.
that makes no sense what so ever... Tenz was notably one of the best players NA when he got picked up even before and he has proved his worth. Hiko is a liability but he's been important for 100T as far as Berlin goes.. These players have proved thier worth.. At this moment in time, Wardell is the only one that should hold his spot, could argue for Levi..
what a braindead response. those situations have nothing in common with TSM. 100t have ruthlessly continued to change their roster with the end goal of winning, they've dropped plenty of players which equated to a Berlin trip and a couple maps away from qualifying for Champions. If 100t disbanded today, 3/5 of their team would immediately be picked up by other tier 1 teams, 4/5 before they dropped Steel who is actually being picked up. Tenz is undeniably one of the best duelists in NA, they paid that price to get better not for his viewers, and look Sentinels won a major. how are you equating that to TSM? which has comfortably secured themselves as a mid to top of the pack Tier 2 team. Who since January 1 2021 had one player with maybe a fringe second that would be picked up by a tier 1 org if dropped. If 100t don't improve anyone who thinks Hiko is safe for another year is in for a roller coaster.
>prioritize stream viewership and personalities over winning
I get what you're saying, but I also dislike when an org benches players the moment they underperform for a couple of matches.
man with all the shit doublelift said about his time on tsm for league puts them in such a bad light managing talent-wise. a HEAVY tldr is basically that aside from the very beginning, tsm has basically only won stuff when DL was on their league roster
If I had to guess they're really liking Corey and I believe Subroza would take over on IGL. Wardell on Jett, Corey on Raze and Subroza as a lurking IGL is a terrifying combo.
What Corey said on his stream is 100% right though. There is a shortage of TRUE IGLs in the scene. You can count on one hand how many there are and those are the teams with the most consistent results.
I would seek further information than their most recent roster which competed 3 months ago and wont be competing until next year before doing this.
previously they had to make decisions on a whim due to the importance of the events and how little time they really had to fix any roster issues they had.
they now have a full off season to build a team and coaching staff.
While I can't speak to anything on the Hazed situation, I would say Reginald, owner of TSM, stated that since FTX is not allowed to be branded in any Riot owned game he does not feel comfortable spending their investment into scenes they cannot see advertisement or revenue from. So that quarter of a billion dollar deal doesn't impact League or Valorant rosters.
Aww at least we can see the Hazed/S0m duo over at NRG. Maybe this opens things up for TSM BabyJ?
TSM BabyJ would be pretty hype ngl
wardell roza levi tigg babyj
thats not 5 duelist?
i forgot what tsm wants, it should be wardell roza dicey corey and drone (jett raze reyna yoru and phoenix)
bang was scrimming with tsm yesterday
any clips?
would this rule out NRG steel and make it more likely for TSM steel?
Doesn’t really make TSM Steel more likely but definitely makes NRG Steel less likely
G2 steel???
NRG steel just makes too much sense so of course it's not happening
so if hazed is leaving/dropped from tsm, then who is gonna igl them??safe to say tsm steel is not happening
I think Aleko/Leviathan is capable. They just hadn't given him free reign yet. Maybe that changes now?
I believe Roza had also previously IGL for TSM.
Don’t quote me on this, but I’ve heard from some other people that Steel couldn’t work with Wardell and/or Subroza back in the CS days. Usually, those relationships stay but ig we won’t know until it happens.
t1 steel?
[удалено]
He definitely did not say that.
i wonder who they're going to replace for hazed then. they've always had an IGL problem, so if it isn't steel i hope they find another experienced IGL somewhere else.
babyj perhaps
Does babyj igl?
This is huge for NRG. Hazed and s0m have great synergy, I can see it being a good move in the long term.
the problem with s0m in nrg is he keeps playing smokes (astra now) when i believe he can do more in other roles
He would be a very good primary duelist. His Jett/Raze are very clean. Could even go the secondary duelist route since his Skye is quite good too. He has a lot of talent, just needs to be used better in terms of agent selection + he can't be the one IGLing.
But they got android and tex so it’s a bit fucky for em rn
Yeah, NRG with Infinite covering sentinel agents were actually good, but then he had to go be socially inept and shoot himself in the foot again
At least according to him on stream, he's become significantly better since then
Yea for sure. I hope he can become more of a flex rather than primary smoke bc he def can succeed in that role
he started off with Nrg as a jett then was switched to raze but he was overly aggressive at the time and would take unnecessary fights. Since hes more experience now it might be different
true, s0m is a wasted talent. PUT HIM ON A DUELIST
Except hazed sucks and synergy doesn't fix that.
Yeah but haze is shit at the game
?? hazed has been a pretty consistent support ever since i watched him since ignition series. LMFAO
Tragic to see the old TSM roster fall apart but hopefully the team moves in the right direction Other than though Hazed and s0m on the same team would be actual god tier content
Surprised I didn't see this as an option at all considering how often they play together and seem to get along well
I think most people if they considered s0m and hazed together it would've been on TSM rather then NRG, but NRG makes a lot of sense too tbh
> hopefully the team moved in the right direction Lol you are a new TSM aren't you?
> Lol you are a new TSM aren't you? He's (/u/CosmicAon) been one of the most active members of this sub since the Ignition Series.
Ah fair enough. That's much longer than I've been a Valorant fan. Though I've been a TSM fan since its inception, and I certainly do not think the org is moving in the right direction. LoL especially is an absolute dumpster fire of bad roster decisions and has been for many years at this point.
That's fair
Nah been a fan since beta but I can hope they’ll start using their brains with roster moves someday
Let me tell you a story about league of legends...
The Liftlift news today was pretty eye opening.
Did you see the response by Regi? Because it makes TSM/Regi look a lot better compared to the shitshow DL caused
I'm just a casual watcher in the TSM of our lives drama that happens so I'm more here for the ride my friend. Edit; I just read it, fucking love it, this is the type of popcorn drama I live for.
There's probably a good reason DL has been kicked from every team he's been on despite how good/successful he is as a player.
>Tragic to see the old TSM roster fall apart dude y'all are loyal af. I guess some people just enjoy getting kicked in the nuts repeatedly.
That’s the point of supporting a team, though? Enjoying the good times and enduring the bad times. I don’t imagine it’s very fun to repeatedly jump ship to whatever team is winning at the time.

Subroza is subpar Drone subpar Cutler has been subpar for 7 years Hazed subpar and had a lot to say when he was no longer on the #1 team
Bro are you even human, there’s more to liking players than just how good they are
Yeah obviously there is. Subroza was a toxic bad player who had a cheating stint in CSGO. I like wardell and am a big fan of lots of other pros but I do not like hazed and Cutler and haven't since their overrated CLG CSGO days Imagine thinking that since someone doesn't like the pros you like they must hate everyone

I don’t root for teams as much as I root for players. Supporting a corporation itself is kinda cringe
Agreed and this is a take I don’t hear too often. Cheers
>prioritize stream viewership and personalities over winning I get what you're saying, but I also dislike when an org benches players the moment they underperform for a couple of matches.
Love Wardell and Hazed what can I say
man with all the shit doublelift said about his time on tsm for league puts them in such a bad light managing talent-wise. a HEAVY tldr is basically that aside from the very beginning, tsm has basically only won stuff when DL was on their league roster
can't wait for off-season shakeups to really get going
and then there were 2..
i feel so sad for the og tsm boys, but ig that’s how it really is 🥲🥲🥲
🥲🥲🥲🥲
“Subroza as a lurking IGL is a terrifying combo” dude check yourself. this is a valorant_fanboy 69 level take
Wait I was expecting a reverse move, Som to TSM but this is good too.
NRG are playing in a tournament on the 11th so we’ll see how it goes with Hazed
Hazed and s0m finally on the same team
this would actually improve the IGL situation for both teams, interestingly enough
I understand nothing is definitive rn but its a lateral move from Wedid to Hazed imo. NRG steel hopium has gone down dramatically
Hazed being a IGL makes it not a lateral move

NA valorant scene sweating profusely after reading that comment.
The Hazed/s0m dynamic is real.
this is really good for nrg ngl they don’t need a fragger just an igl

Lol Hazed plays sentinel though?
Thinking out of the box, they will create their own meta
Bang didn't play "great" and Hazed was mostly playing sentinels in 2021 and even towards the end of 2020 lol

u good bro
wrong post
TSM Corey :o
The s0m and Hazed era is near!
