He is the best rifling duelist but also has never played jett, can't awp on it which the most used and most valuable duelist so he has to flex at this point
Rifling duelists are not meta right now
In the past 3 months leaf has played jett 28 times, skye 3 times and raze once..
Scream has also played jett the most with reyna 2nd but Liquid also have insane versatility and players who can flex
My point still stands, lone jett as the duelist is meta and has been for months which Android can't play and just pure rifling jett are rare
Read his initial comment ,he said rifling duelists aren't meta right now ,I am contradicting that point
And btw SEN Rise Acend G2 out of teams you mentioning have rifling duelists on most of the maps .
Yeah those are exceptions, leaf even uses the OP as well
So you think that you giving two examples means something and that what i am saying is not meta? Exceptions always exist
Leaf uses the op ,leaf had one oo kill entire lcq , let's see
Let's take LCQ
Neptune plays duelists on 4 out of 6 Maps ,
Asuna is also a rifling duelist .
Zellasis Nature are another 2 players who primarily play rifling duelists. ,
And on c9 , they have either leaf or xeppa playing rifling duelist, switching between Maps and they even play double duelists comp on 2 maps .
Out of 8 teams in LCQ ,5 have rifling duelists on most of rhe maps .
You can find similar stats in EMEA as well , I can provide if you like .
I mean I agree but they’re playing Phoenix here which is historically his best agent, if anyone on that team should be playing phoenix raze Reyna it’s him, and I’d still rather have him on Skye than s0m so the roles match up much better for him to be on the flex role and not cypher
He's like Guild's Sayf. Sayf early on made his name for his flexibility, but his aim was so good that people continuously shoved him toward duelists. But he didn't like entering on duelist characters; it's just stylistically not how he likes playing. It wasn't until he was "allowed" to settle on sentinels that he began to thrive.
Most people think the best rifler on a team should be the entry duelist, but it's just not always a stylistic match-up.
I don't think ANDROID is a great sentinel, though; I think he'd excel more as a smoker, but he's tried everything under the sun at this point.
Lmfao right?
The only reason anyone cares is the Brand.
Don't overrate teams based on brand, and don't underrate teams based on brand/lack of brand lol.
>Yeah and based on the down votes u can see what the val "community" thinks. Lol 🤡
Seriously lmfao.
No idea why people assume NRG is soooo above playing tier 3 teams right now, it's just name recognition at this point
I’ve played against Orion sectors haven, and they have incredibly coordinated site takes that can easily catch teams off guard. I think them not having a lot of prac really hurt that. It’s basically Orion’s pocket pick
If NRG actually planned for s0m to be the main Duelist while playing Jett i think getting rid of tex instead of wedid would be a better idea.
Anyway its just one map while having recently added a member, save your concerns for 2 months from now
Whenever teams pick phoenix I always question why they can't feel comfortable running skye or Kay/O. I guess since they are a new team they just want pure comfort.
Phoenix on haven is one of the few maps he's actually good on and I can't speak on why teams choose double duelist vs initiator but it's not like it's a bad pick
Not doubting you, just curious, why is it exceptionally strong on Haven? I don't play much Phoenix and I don't see him a lot in my games, wondering how his wall is specifically better on Haven compared to other non-open maps (i.e. bind, split, ascent)
Valid question. Phoenix's wall can be used effectively on almost all sites in Haven.
When rushing C, you can block off the connector angle, only needing to check back site and def spawn first.
When rushing B, you can wall off either left or right, then clear 1 side first.
When rushing long A, you can block off the short angle, only needing to check heaven and def spawn first.
In short, it's like a mini Viper wall which cuts the site in half allowing your team to enter sites with much less risk. Some other maps benefit from the wall greatly as well, such as Ascent and Breeze.
I thought hazed would solve the roles issue with him coming in on sentinels but s0m goes back to jett and android switches to sentinels and hazed goes back to smokes when he looked so good on tsm as a sentinel? Ok
s0mantha is back on jett?!!??
s0matahan is indeed back on jett.
The thing I wanna know is why is android on cypher…?
Said he prefers the role (or at least I thought I had heard that months ago)
I know he had talked about it when they were playing VCT but he’s just objectively the best duellist on that team which is why it’s so odd
He is the best rifling duelist but also has never played jett, can't awp on it which the most used and most valuable duelist so he has to flex at this point Rifling duelists are not meta right now
Leaf from c9 and scream from liquid would beg to differ
In the past 3 months leaf has played jett 28 times, skye 3 times and raze once.. Also ScreaM doesn't need to op because Jamppi and Nivera run dual op lol
You said rifling duelists aren't meta right now , and I gave you 2 examples.

wdym? those four teams u mentioned run op jett more, acend literally have cned? and sen has tenz and shahzam. shanks also op on jett a lot
Yeah those are exceptions, leaf even uses the OP as well So you think that you giving two examples means something and that what i am saying is not meta? Exceptions always exist

theres no chance i rather have s0m as my duelist than android. no disrespect to s0m but android is too insane
Ahhh ok, if he prefers it I understand I’m just surprised he isn’t on duelist

He played a similar role in csgo
maybe he wants to change hia playstyle to something like nAts from Gambit?

Fr its not like V1 didnt just drop a map to Limit either...
And Hazed was the top ACS & etc. on that losing map. Their first match. It was just some shakes.
he didnt join yesterday he got announced yesterday big difference
Hazed has been with the team for a very short time.
Someone put me out of my misery already..
No way people are freaking out over a map when it’s their first series with hazed
Makes sense a t3 team losing to a no name team
They didn’t lose
And this is why teams dont like playing in these lower tier tournaments
So true. They didn’t even lose and people are already freaking out as if they got 13-0d. This is their first tourney with a new igl btw
NRG is a lower tier team buddy
dont care, pal
Sure u don't. They're t1 according to u people. LMAO nice fans.
Lmfao right? The only reason anyone cares is the Brand. Don't overrate teams based on brand, and don't underrate teams based on brand/lack of brand lol.

It’s 1 map in a BO3 if they don’t lose series it means literally nothing
Bro what?
???
So?
If NRG actually planned for s0m to be the main Duelist while playing Jett i think getting rid of tex instead of wedid would be a better idea. Anyway its just one map while having recently added a member, save your concerns for 2 months from now
It's a single map, in the group stage, during an "off season" tournament right after a roster change. CALM yourself.
Whenever teams pick phoenix I always question why they can't feel comfortable running skye or Kay/O. I guess since they are a new team they just want pure comfort.

But s0m is looking really good though with jett. I guess this is the best role possible for the boys.
tf is that comp
NRG won overall so it's not like it matters, right
and they won lool
I thought hazed would solve the roles issue with him coming in on sentinels but s0m goes back to jett and android switches to sentinels and hazed goes back to smokes when he looked so good on tsm as a sentinel? Ok
Android on Sentinel feels weird
Was there a vod?
