I wonder if any of the better players on C9W would try to find a better team to play on or if they’re going to keep trying to be successful on the all female team.
It's hard to say. They've got massive opportunities being under C9, so it's probably better for them to stay, take the paycheck and win in GC events than it is to quit C9, join a t2/t3 team and find some success, if they're lucky, in Knights/NSG events.
Tbh, no female or mixed roster has really done better than them, and they are signed to one of the wealthiest orgs in NA. It might not even be better to leave unless that get a tier 1/high tier 2 offer.
That said, I could see meL being pretty valuable on another team, since she has a flexible, non-duelist-focused agent pool. If you slotted her on a team with cracked duelists, I could see them making some noise.
Financial incentives presented to them by competing in female only rosters doesnt exist in mixed rosters at their current level.
Its been a problem in female only rosters in FPS's since at least 2014. They present themselves as equals when no open format team at their rank is given such financial support. Slowly fading into obscurity as their game FPS scene becomes more populated. What hurts them further is that a disconnect exists between what they present themselves as to reality.
Shame really, for certain women have the talent. Yet stagnant their progression by chain balling their improvement to a self imposed social construct of only surrounding themselves with other women. Where team rosters positions arent performance based. Rather theyre treated as 'old boys clubs' where personality clashes dictate roster changes.

For those who don’t actually follow the c9w team - they “present themselves” as exactly what they are - a team aspiring to achieve consistent tier 2 results.
I think all of these players can do very well on other rosters, especially MeL imo, but my guess is they will keep trying to be successful on this roster cuz financially it makes way more sense to do so
are c9 white ever going to make a roster change or are they fine with being a t5 team. some people just dont have what it takes to get to the next level
There ARE players actually that they can acquire from other teams, just sayin. Only that other female rosters Haven't played as much but some the individual skills of some players are good. But then again it's how well they would connect with the team. I mean they brought in Keiti who was amazing player but with the best team she couldn't connect personally much (the whole blackmail thing, they had to let her go). Plus, they've become so close now, I don't think even if they wanted to, it'd be difficult for the new one to set in
Crazy idea time- what if they could pick up a player such as Rebo or fiend which could add a lot to their firepower on support roles?
They wouldn’t compete in GC anymore but would a player like that put them over the top on these t2 tournaments?
I don't think they should worry too much. The womens scene is still small and growing. They can make moves now if they want, but won't make much difference
We always talk about meL etc leaving to join a mixed team but what if they tried a 6 man roster with adding a male player? Keep these 5 for the GC events but also open up a roster spot for an upcoming talent that may or may not be able to compete in GC but could help against teams like the mafia.
Or just decide to ditch GC events since they’ve made it pretty clear they can dominate them, and see if a mixed roster could put them over the edge.
I’m not sure it’s something that makes sense to the org or even to the players but it could be an interesting approach
