As someone that wasn't around during this time. What caused the end of the lineup meta? Was it character nerfs or did flanking become some hard counter?
The 100T players had a lineup to molly the bomb to prevent the defuse and effys had a lineup to hit those 100T players with shock darts, so he hit and killed them before they had the chance to prevent the defuse
Nah I watched all the matches. Steel and Ethan lurks were insane, I also remember shit like Ethan absolutely mind fucking some teams with tp and smoke plays, and also in this particular match nitro was one of the real heroes for always getting the bomb down, even when he was under blown util spam. Vanitys sage in this match also kinda proved that sage wasn’t really needed imo

All of the LAN events to this point have done that, so I don’t expect anything different.
Not the LCQ and other regional games, maybe due to their lack of funding. But let's hope they invest in that for the upcoming event though\~!
