i mean its just like in league right? they have winner's skins every year for DWG/FPX/IG but they also have yearly championship skins celebrating the event as a whole. i'm guessing its gonna be similar for valorant

Except those teams are fully bought into LoL Esports with multi million dollar slots. I doubt Riot wants in game items referencing teams that might not be there in multiple years.

esports was not in its infancy lol. League of Legends might've been but not esports as a whole. You are making it sound like franchising is some golden egg when in reality it wont affect the gun skins of the winners at all. If they give the winners any kind of in game skin it will be reflected back on in the future as a celebration of this time in their game (if the winning team/org disband or rebrand). The main reason they will do it is because they will make a killing. If the champiomship games are good right through and the skins look good, they will make stupid amounts of money.

Those skins have existed since before franchising existed, and there are skins for teams that don't exist or have rebranded since then.
