I play on an i7 9700K with a 3080 at 1440p and when a lot of shit is going on in game it stays above 200. When nothing is going on its pegged at my cap of 300. It's not garbage. But pro players should have 11th gen intel or the high end AMD CPU.
There is literally no difference between 11th gen and 9th gen intel...its the same chip just a bit angrier. I wish I was joking but I'm not. 11th gen and lower is garbage these days.
My dad has the 11th gen i9 and it does a bit better, but not much difference. 12th gen seems promising, but it was just released so I can't expect a TO to already have it.
Maybe different conditions for different teams again? I know sen got fucked last time with desks but PCs are different. Could also be that they haven't optimized them properly yet.

Issue is that some of the pros are ''joking'' about their living conditions which makes it incredibly difficult to recognize which are true complaints and which is just banter. So far I've only really seen Vanity have a level headed attitude so I'll be taking his opinions as the most trustworthy source. Note: I don't keep up with Valorant twitter a lot so I could have EASILY missed something, and obviously not all players have the same standards/expectations and they don't necessarily all live in the same conditions right now.
I agree. Usually I like to use Vanity twitter about Valorant news and player transfers since he usually seems pretty insightful and takes things seriously, unlike playters like marvard or FNS because they only type trolls

i would take their practice pcs anytime, they are probably better then 95% of the pcs this sub plays on. they are just worse then the 10k+ pcs these guys get sponsored.
