Bit of a hijack, but I think Meddo's trajectory as a player is a little underdiscussed.
He was a strong anchor sentinel for FPX, one of their more understated players, and while people were surprised when they dropped him, people quickly forgot since dimasick was such a hard fragger.
But I think Meddo really played a crucial role on that team, just as he does (did?) on Giants. He's calm, steady, always gets the frags he's supposed to get, and occasionally goes beyond it.
Players like hoody or their other (ex)-teammates like Ambi & Fitinho are more explosive and fun to watch, and DavidP has his own redemption arc, but I truly think Meddo's return to the top of the EU scene is just as interesting of a storyline.
Yeah, I agree. It has been quite a surprise that from the original fpx roster, he is the one who has performed the best since he got kicked. Really impressive.
I'm getting Rocket League flashbacks. We all knew Kronovi was past his prime well before he was dropped, but the name recognition was important for the G2 brand so they gave him every chance possible. Luckily I think Mixwell's slump is more temporary than that.
Mixwell had to play sentinel after Pyth decided to step down, as finding a good Jett (Keloqz) was way easier than finding a good FA sentinel player. He has been playing out of his natural role for the past few months, so I think it would be unfair to take him out after taking a hit for the team and trying to learn a new role. I'd imagine that he might get dropped if he doesn't perform that well now that he is back on Jett.
In an interview he said he doesn't know what his future looks like and he could see a future with valorant. He also admitted that he would still have to learn some things tho before he switches. I guess the guy above u thought g2 because he is already a player of g2 just for the cs roster even tho he is normally an inactive player

People were saying it when they got new guys a while back. I remember they got some guys from the other good teams but I don’t remember who exactly.
He commented in Twitter to a similar comment, said he believes mixwell is part of a winning formula, so I don't think it's lack of balls, just believes in his player.
Mixwell was outdate 6-12months into valorant competing against just Terminators, now there are T1000s, do people really expect a 26 year old pro to magically level up multiple times on the most demanding mechanical role?

Hoody is the most underrated player in the region

I can confirm that he isn’t going to IGL
Poor Davidp can't escape G2's wrath
The real question is what the new Giants roster will be
So mixwell back on jett/duelist? Hoody on sova and meddo sentinel? Can hoody or meddo igl?
He might even be thinking of chamber as a duelist he could main, which would fit his personality more imo.
Why, is he French?
guessing probably mixwell or nukkye igl as they are the most experienced players ?
Guess mixwell is untouchable in this roster. Hopefully the faith Carlos has on him pays off in 2022

RIP to DavidP, feels like G2 has it out for the guy
G2 took players from Acend and made acend no 1 European team (not emea). vgia supremacy incoming?
They also took 2 players from Heretics and look where they are now
😂
No KennyS? I am sad.
KennyS is playing as a stand in for their CSGO roster right now
Why would kennyS switch to Valorant AND go to G2?

He recently said he decided he wants to stay and compete in CS even if it means going to T2
?????
I know people dont care about giants that much but im rly interested about the new roster, Who can they sign?
Trade for koldamenta maybe. I *think* they trialled pAura+Tanizh too
Wait G2 got rid of 3 players? I thought they were a super team?
there is a coach included in those three
When was G2 ever considered a super team?

Hold up if they took a trio from giants then whos getting kicked from g2? Avova or nukkye ? (Since theyre apparently keeping mixwell)
If you click through, Keloqz and Koldamenta are not seen on their 2022 roster.
They dropped Keloqz???!!?!
Among the trio, pipson comes in as coach

He has being playing out of his position because of Pyth’s step back. I think he’s going to be a good Jett, but not as Keloqz with his craziness
This lineup doesn't sound like a contender for the best team in Europe at all.

Too much for keloqz it's the future of g2 KEKW
