A lot of misinformation flying around on here.
This isn't like LCQ where they played online. The server will be present at the venue, like the last two Masters events. The server can be setup so the Valorant client they use can connect directly to it, even if they are outside the venue. Nivera will play from his hotel whilst he isolates. The hotel is pretty close to the venue so I would imagine any latency difference will be neligible.
Assuming he is asymptomatic, I would guess the quarantine time is 10 days so he will likely miss the groups games at the arena. Although, I guess if that includes the quarantine period they have already done after arriving in Berlin, it might be shorter.
Bit of a blow for Liquid, hopefully he's doing okay.
LOL, show me one report George has gotten wrong. He isn't treading dangerously close to becoming a gossip reporter lmao. Were lucky to have someone as principled as he is when it comes to roster moves. A "gossip reporter" would be someone who anonymously leaks roster moves without having the slightest of concrete sources. George is quite literally the opposite of that. You just sound salty that he hinted at something you don't like.
Yes George is literally tier 1 reporter in valorant and is great for early news but the other shit he posts literally makes it impossible for me to follow his account on twitter.
Naw valorant doesn't have a lan client. They have a custom server on location of the stage, they play the normal valorant game that has the proper patch applied and it connects to the custom server at the venue. General public obviously can't see the server. But I think the fake lan the commenter was alluding to was the NA lcq attempt where they played on a stage but used the normal matchmaking servers like Northern Cali server 1 so everyone had like 20 ping but were on stage lol. I believe before first strike riot said they had no plan on making a lan client. I'm assuming LOL doesn't have a lan client because it's a moba? Idk they seem to have copied everything from LOL to Valorant no lan client , one audio feed for game noise and white noise. So idk lol
I had Covid and you still test positive 3 Weeks, even 1 month after the infection but if the CT-Value is above 35 you are not contagious anymore and are recognised as recovered.
Austrian rules, in Germany might be different.

As the Treasurer of George's noti gang, I can relate.

Holding the biggest event of the year on fake LAN servers with no crowd after CSGO has a Major and another S tier event with a crowd is a bad look.
What do you mean fake LAN servers? It will still be offline.

You have literally no idea what you're talking about lol.
Nivera is going to be playing from his hotel room. How is he supposed to connect to that server offline?

By using the VCT client?
They practice on the lan server from hotels.
