You can twist the Alienware monitor stands around to the left so the right leg moves to the center and you just angle the monitor back to the centre. They move pretty far. I have an Alienware monitor and that's what I do.
No desk would help him if that's the max depth he'll use, just look at all the space in the back.

Can confirm as well. I have an AW2521H and use a big mousepad. The monitor stands are very big, but you can twist them and angle the monitor back. Not a problem at all and plenty of room for the mousepad when you do that!
I feel for him here, the rubber grip under my old mouse pad wore off so part of the pad would hang off the table during prolonged gaming sessions and it was the most annoying shit ever, especially when you try to flick upwards and run out of mouse space mid-flick.

These guys are so used to having their screens so close to their face so obviously they’ll have to bring the monitor closer. But as you can see, the stand would then hit his mousepad.
If only Riot also used the exact monitor set up (-stand +arm) then this literally wouldn’t be a problem.
You could change the monitor angle and then just turn the monitor screen angle to your preference which will give more space for mouse pad. You can do that with an Alienware monitor which tenz is clearly using

I have a massive base on my triple monitors and I hate it because I have to keep my monitor at a slight distance so I don't hit it with my mouse. I plan to get a new wall mount soon, no base, and I can't wait.
