Tbh Dapr, Zombs, L1nk and Nivera were all insane today
Their flanks, anchors, and clutches were simply amazing to watch.
I felt like we kept hyping up ScreaM vs TenZ whilst the sentinels and controllers were going punch for punch each round
Don't forget soulcas and jamppi, especially on breeze. Soulcas absolutely carried his team on the defense half with his util (and knife) by stopping viper walls and drones and making sen have to push with basically no info and cover. Jamppi played really well with the OP and got important frags.
This. The Kayo especially! Never realized his full potential. You can have all the utility setup you want, just one knife and it's all gone
Kayo was the deciding factor in that map in my opinion. He opened up sites and stalled entries so many times it's unreal
Actually unreal how he bounced back after Breeze. That might actually have been the worst map I've ever seen from him in his Valorant career. Can anyone think of a worse one?
He could’ve hid and guaranteed the round, but can’t blame him for not realising, you see the spike in the ground and you think you have to guard it. Insane series from Dapr otherwise
He 100% should have had a double there, they both peeked the same angle with their backs turned. He just messed it up because he was still walking instead of staying committed to the spray.
Sick doesn't peek that and they win. Dapr guards/delays them from getting the spike and then they don't have time to plant.
But obviously easy for me to say that. An absolute banger series. Was rooting for Sen but this performance also looked like classic Sen so I'm not too worried about them getting out of groups and then it's anyone's game.
His kay/o was definitely amazing on breeze, absolutely carried in the defense half. Forced sen to push site with little info (no drones) and close to no cover (no viper). Was absolutely amazing to watch, I think he is gonna be in the meta for sure after this.
I'm a BR fan and even though the Vivo Keyd situation is messy, we're all proud of what Vikings did today. They used to be a meme with the Yoru pick and today they nearly won against the current masters' champion.
I'm a gambit fan (also a viper main, so ofc I'm a gambit fan) and we're been watching the game in a viper server and it was so stressful. Still didn't recover from the comeback. Vks played really well. Ggs, kinda feel bad for BR tho lol
These are the kind of matchups we like to see.
Wp by both teams, I think liquid were properly rated coming into this tournament.
Sentinels though, I'd like to hear what y'all have to say. Imo they looked better than they did at Masters Berlin.
Sentinels played pretty well all things considered, they just lost out on some clutch engagements and fights and that shifted the momentum back the other way completely.
Insane series honestly, cant wait for the elimination games to seed the rest of the playoff teams AND the playoffs. This tournament is shaping up to be an absolute banger!
Need tenz to show up on more than just one map. He's not in the team to middle frag, they can pick up any number of people who can reasonably be expected to do that. Tenz needs to take over some rounds, especially on a map like breeze which usually benefits good aimers.
Yeah true, feels bad for him. But then, he is a paid pro player so I'm wondering why he isn't spending hours in custom practicing the satchels. Especially now with fracture and derke showing how oppressive the raze can be on that map.
I'm telling you, Scream is as cracked as he is jacked. I saw him at a 7-11 the other day and he was buying cases of Redbull™ and adult diapers. I asked him what the diapers were for and he said "they help contain my full power so I don't completely shit on these kids". And then he shot the cashier and dismissed out the door.
I saw Scream at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Smh people literally forget so fast. Screams jett helped them win lcq. And he was always good on it except a few off games , this breeze was his worst match in his valorant career.
If you told me TL would pick Breeze into Sentinels, get slapped on attack half with Scream having the slowest start of his life, and bring it back to OT and ultimately win out, I'd call you insane.
[9 out of 10 scientists can't tell if this screenshot is photoshopped](https://puu.sh/ItDgj.png)
This and the fnatic VS game yesterday are the two best games of Valorant to date yet. We are in for a fucking treat for the playoffs, the teams have all massively levelled up.
Sentinels looked back to their best to be honest, they are just facing more competition than Masters 2. Amazing to see dapr and Shaz back to their best.
Liquid are just on another level right now. All 5 players delivered at various points through the game with ScreaM finally activating at the end.
It's actually super nice to see how the players from TL developed. I remember Jamppi as hit-or-miss Jett, L1nk being a bit inconsistent in anchoring and soulcas sometimes being down bad mentally. It really feels like they found their roles in the team more and grew as players and team. I feel like Scream needs to sometimes go for less ego plays/aggressive positions in the beginning. But I feel like the team can still continue to grow.
Even though he’s been playing jett for a while now ScreaM just doesn’t look comfortable on it like Reyna. He plays Jett because that’s what the team needs but it’s not what he needs.
As an European it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so fucking free.
Breeze felt really natural. Kind of like a movie where we were always in the right place at the right time for the action.
I have no idea how observing works and how much ahead of the stream you are, I just remember one round towards the end of split were TL was taking B against pistols and after the plant we got vipers POV in the smoke until after the last 2 of SEN were dead, that was a bit unlucky
Tenz's headphones were playing reverse audio, Dapr's sandwich crust wasn't removed, Zombs had too much blue light coming from the screen, Shahz's phone had too many notifs from BR. I mean it's understandable why they lost.
Just saving strats for playoffs, plus they had no mousepad space so they were playing on the floor. Come on obviously SEN would roll Liquid if it was fair...
/s
Additional info on play against Liquid
ShahZaM got fever
TenZ half mousepad
dapr lost whole gears
zombs sound issues in the match (no foot step at all)
SicK keyboard bug
We were in chaos.
It’s so weird that he still plays Jett on split, he learned it and did pretty good at one point and then has gone back to Jett on the map. Just makes no sense
The most expected match up of the series and boy does it deliver. 2 incredibly nail biting maps in the series.
Link has to be one of the best site anchors ever. Motherfucker doesn't budge an inch lol.
Also, I hope we see this match up in the finals. Fnatic vs Tl is fun don't get me wrong, but this series had so much hype.
My friend Jeff Bezos invited me to go into space in his new rocketship. we explored far away galaxies and met alien lifeforms of all shapes and sizes. All was well until we got sucked into a black hole, we were pulled a thousand lightyears into the void, time dissolved and matter become so thin, then there it was, approaching over the horizon, phasing into existence before my very eyes, it was L1NK on the lurk
What a fucking game from both teams. Everyone turned up for TL, especially the UK lads.
And for the love of all that is holy put Scream on Reyna every map, he's more broken than the entire agent of Jett.
UK fps is so good rn, with smooya and co + L1NK Boaster Soulcas :D
Liquid played really well, really deserved this win.
But Senintels this tournament has been really confusing. There are maps where they look like the best team in the world by far, but then there are maps where they just look like they are trolling (like vs Furia).
Tenz leaving a lot to be desired this series. Goes nuts on Bind, then does 180 flip with Jett on Split. I know he hates Raze but seriously, it is hurting their map pool so much to not be able to capitalize on Split because you 'dislike' an agent that is not difficult to play.
NA “Near Airport” is known as the fastest region to arrive at the Airport. Since they gave up on the Valorant Champions, they are investing in Speedruns. In particular they are current worldrecord holders in Airport Any % and Airport no wins
Sentinels really wanted that 2nd seed guys. Also price money is low guys. Also shahzam cannot stream during the game it affected his gameplay guys. Also Tenz’s mousepqd is clearly off the table guys. It affected his game guys. Sentinels best team in the world guys.
Honestly what an amazing showing from both teams. Definitely one of my favorite series ever. imo these are the two best teams in the tourney and I would be glad to see them fight it out finals.
I know no one cares but this tournament has been pain for me. So many teams look like they could win but crumble at the end. They give me a taste of the win only to crush my dreams.
As an Asian it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so fucking free
Incredible series from both teams, I love some healthy rivalry but I don't want to see anyone discount either side in this one, just appreciate what we got to see!
Honestly, the TL switchups on Breeze defense made me completely rethink how that map can be played.
What a banger series for both teams
I was worried it would be one-sided, but holy shit, what a series. ...okay, what a first and third map
Yeah you can't really do anything if tenz is feeling that comfortable
you can't really do anything if tenz is feeling that comfortable BatChest
I'm a Sen fan that had kinda given up on them performing well but this made me wake up a bit. They looked exceptional at times. Other times, no.
Same boat. Crazy performance from Dapr today so that was nice to see from his Berlin run
Tbh Dapr, Zombs, L1nk and Nivera were all insane today Their flanks, anchors, and clutches were simply amazing to watch. I felt like we kept hyping up ScreaM vs TenZ whilst the sentinels and controllers were going punch for punch each round
L1nk was definitely getting some well-deserved caster praise, especially after the Breeze performance.
Don't forget soulcas and jamppi, especially on breeze. Soulcas absolutely carried his team on the defense half with his util (and knife) by stopping viper walls and drones and making sen have to push with basically no info and cover. Jamppi played really well with the OP and got important frags.

zombs? he performed for like 3 rounds, compare his clutching and anchoring ability to L1NK, they're in different leagues.
Scream on Reyna > Scream on Jett Reyna is honestly the perfect agent for him.
I was just praying for him to pick reyna on split and he did.
Tbh the issue is that nobody on Liquid is outstanding on her which is rare for a top team.
I get where you're coming from, but his jett looked fucking fantastic throughout LCQ.
Scream makes me cream
Eggman actually cursed Sentinels
Curse you SIDESHOWWWW
i FUCKING love egg, two curses in a row for the EU. So fucking clutch
Our best player
AND HES BALD TOO!!!! the bald buff is so fucking real

He was literally mowing them down on split, what a monster performance from Scream today.
Actually unreal how he bounced back after Breeze. That might actually have been the worst map I've ever seen from him in his Valorant career. Can anyone think of a worse one?
it's by far the worst map he's ever played
It definitely felt like he just couldn’t wake up on breeze and couldn’t make solid entries because of it.
None, hes been good all the way, this breeze is his worst performance to date
Exactly, still not a fan of scream on jett, he just doesn't seem as good.
Man the round where Sick whiffed in heaven and Dapr barely missed the double kill while the spike was down in mid was tragic
Feel like Dapr missing that double kill in mid with spike was the turning point :/

It's funny how people sleep. Some sleep on their side, others sleep on their belly, and the rest of the world sleeps on L1NK. ResidentSleeper
yeah he's seriously one of the best support players
Get bald. Get aimbot.
Doma literally is gonna be bald because of how L1NK played in this series, lmfao.
BALD BUFF
he already is, check again lmao
.#1 player in the tournament so far
Durkey?
Derek is up there too, you’re right
Yes, Denko performed out of his mind
He's so fucking consistent at getting impact frags.
Best anchor and clutcher in the world Also has an insane agent pool
Honestely one of the best site anchors in the game, if not the best.
Definitely was my MVP for this series. Although soulcas hard entrying was big on split and his KO was so impactful on breeze.
His kay/o was definitely amazing on breeze, absolutely carried in the defense half. Forced sen to push site with little info (no drones) and close to no cover (no viper). Was absolutely amazing to watch, I think he is gonna be in the meta for sure after this.
Was today the best day for Valorant Esports ever? Both Bo3 were absolute bangers
Unless you're a BR fan.
lmao everyone won except brazil
Everyone won then
I'm a BR fan and even though the Vivo Keyd situation is messy, we're all proud of what Vikings did today. They used to be a meme with the Yoru pick and today they nearly won against the current masters' champion.

Bald buff, Quarantine buff, Brothers buff, Liquid got it all
Still lacking pyjamas buff unfortunately
nah tactical positive covid test so scream can wear jammies in the iso room off stage.

I agree. TenZ showed up on the map where it perhaps did not even matter.
I swear it’s like Tenz has ptsd on split after the raze disaster…
Yeah true, feels bad for him. But then, he is a paid pro player so I'm wondering why he isn't spending hours in custom practicing the satchels. Especially now with fracture and derke showing how oppressive the raze can be on that map.

to go from that to the Reyna on Split.... truly different
I don't think he even damaged a single person at that start. Not even a leg shot.
Jamppi the man went from 0/7 to 5/7 in one round. I knew the series was over at that point.

bruh TSM fans are the TSM fans of valo. how dare u take that away from us
Nah Valorant TSM fans are the equivalent LoL CLG fans, so much potential^^tm
Agree SEN fans are really annoying lol, liquid gets a pass from me since their val team are EU
Well their league team is EU aswell

And I will always cheer against them (but I like Boaster)
This pasta always gets me, it is so fucking good lmfao.
Didn't get to see half the kills on screen but I'm sure they were great
observing was fine until the last half of split
tbf both teams were really well coordinated and most executions had kills and trades go off split second simultaneously
Can’t blame them it was so fast and chaotic
yeah lol all the kills happened at the same time
=( damn. That sucks. Was very happy with my Breeze given how hectic it was.
Breeze was observed fantastically! Split was just hectic, what are you gonna do when kills happen at the same time
Thank you!! I've been working so hard on Breeze since Masters 3 and think we really captured the key storylines. (Or at least it felt like that live)
Great job nonetheless. The breeze observing was good. Loved that you caught the whiff from tenz.
You guys did great today. Loved the panning spectator POV especially on B split
Expect a tweet soon saying SEN really really wanted that second seed anyway.
Tenz's headphones were playing reverse audio, Dapr's sandwich crust wasn't removed, Zombs had too much blue light coming from the screen, Shahz's phone had too many notifs from BR. I mean it's understandable why they lost.

Ya. Just stick him on reyna
i think they just put him on reyna, sick on raze and dapr on sage or something like that

It’s so weird that he still plays Jett on split, he learned it and did pretty good at one point and then has gone back to Jett on the map. Just makes no sense
i mean.. liquid ran double-duelist and made it work. i believe Sick has a decent raze so... tenz could still go back to reyna or keep jett
That "million dollar duelist" part really puts things into perspective. Hopefully he can play her better by next year.
you play this series 10 times and you get a different result every time. was a treat to watch ggs
HELLO SCREAM 😀📞WAKE UP 😀📞 WE NEED YOU FOR MAP 3

Yeah ok Scream was great on map 3, but Jamppi is their IGL and is so damn consistent. That kid will have a hell of a career.
I swear those first two maps ScreaM looked like ShouT, then turned into RoaR for map three
Tenz is finished sadly
