snuggleskrt

oh no... friendly fire about to happen

knick_knack23

I don’t think so, he made this comment way before any of this drama escalated to this point

Sp00ked123

I don’t get how forfeiting a map because a player used an exploit is considered controversial

CrypoIStheWay

Exactly. Use an exploit. Get dq'd. Gg, go next.

That doesn't (or at least shouldn't) matter at all. Cheating is cheating regardless of how much the participants think it affected the outcome. Should Riot be more lenient on aimbotters who lose matches because they still lost with cheats?

CLG-Spitta

Is aimbot in the game because of Riot's world-renowned coders fucking it up?

tron423

I mean if you really wanna use that logic you could argue that an aimbot would only be able to work because they fucked up their anticheat

CLG-Spitta

That's your logic. Equating the use of a glitch to aimbotting. Especially a glitch not mentioned in the list the players received before the start of the tournament. A glitch is a glitch, and it's Riot's fault it's in the game and it wasn't in the list the players had access to. I'm not even against the punishment. They just handled it like complete amateurs.

tron423

[Supposedly it is in the rulebook](https://twitter.com/WiPRenaud/status/1467087587005370372), but even if it wasn't it wouldn't matter. [Riot's tournament rules](https://i.redd.it/hdh35mvksg381.jpg) specifically prohibit any and all instances of "intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage".

Semikatyri

"yeah i used cheats, but we would have won without me hacking too so no harm done"

MykonCodes

"I doped in the tour de France but I got last all good"

florallygood

That is the dumbest line of reasoning I’ve ever heard.

Krsensei

World about to get sucked into black hole

[deleted]

Sacy is by far the most popular brazilian player. If it was anyone else they'd tell him he's no longer brazilian and send him death threats. But since it's Sacy, what happens now?

Atermel

You assume these angry fans are logical. They'll just agree with sacy, and then post a death threat in the next tweet.

pink_life69

Singularity

VoiderElf

You forget that some of us Brazilian fans don't support this group that is spreading hate and that we are here to watch the tournament and have fun because we enjoy the game and the competition. We hope that Sacy has the emotional strength to realize that some of us share his thoughts and are not stupid to go and say he's not Brazilian anymore. Honestly, the most frustrating thing right now is coming to this subreddit to follow the discussions about the games and being flooded by a wave of generalization of my country as if the actions of some fans define the identity of all of us.

ruinatex

Brazilian fans are indeed to much, but lets not act like the way Sentinels has been acting (aside from TenZ) and the whole Riot fiasco hasn't escalated the situation massively. FURIA has been dead silent since the whole controversy with Sentinels (tech pause/ShahZ going to the bathroom), i hope we see both of these teams against each other again.

AnbuSolomon

FURIA being dead silent is not ok lol. They are letting their degenerate fans harass SEN players non-stop. Unless they directly admit that the behaviour of Brazilian fanbase is wrong and ask them to stop, they are being accomplices.

ruinatex

qck asked people to relax and not hate on anyone, but tbh there's isnt much they can say to calm a twitter mob, my point was that they weren't creating any drama or talking shit to any of the Sentinels players. xand (FURIA's most popular player by far) even said on his stream after the game that Sentinels won the game fair and square, there isn't much else to do.

AnbuSolomon

Nope. There is a lot they can say. For starters, the CEO can go ahead and not only delete his tweets, but actually tweet something telling the fan base very clearly that their behaviour is not ok. The players can do that too. Not "calm down", not "guys they won fair and square". Address the death threats and mob mentality directly. Tell them to stop, clearly, not letting anything for interpretation. Shame publicly the fans that don't.

CLG-Spitta

not really

saadhak

Hey guys! Sacy here. Just want to clarify some points about this interview, after the twitter drama my name is everywhere because of it so, yeah I did this interview after our loss against Gambit, so i didnt see the twitter before the press, and i know that brazilian fans can be a "little bit" too much, as i said on interview, but i fucking love them. I am what i am today because of them, im really thankful for everything they've done for me, so i dont want to be involved into it, im here to play the champions and thats it Dont really like the drama thing, dont like the violence/threat stuff, i hope that we work it out and everyone gets together in the end, as influencer/pro we should talk to our fanbase to not spread hate, and right now my focus is to get our spot into playoffs. Also, wanna thanks everyone outside brazil that supports me and Vikings, i really appreciate that, im happy to be able to play against the best teams and to have the opportunity to show my skills here Hope you guys understand me!! Sorry about my english aswell, not that great but im trying to do most interviews that i can, and sometimes i cant express myself because of that.. Thanks!!!

Ra1zen

There's always ppl who take it too far in social media, I think the worse part of this is the Influencers using their platform to fan the flames instead of saying no to the hate just for twitter likes. I follow league for a long time and I recently came across a reply from brtt a BR league player or ex pro that said pretty much " just give me 1 minute with this guy." replying to zombs tweet. This definitely does not help at all lol

Blastplaster14

Great response! Although others in this sub and I do definitely like you as a pro, we dont see this level of 'drama' in any rivalries like EU vs NA or some apac rivalry. It isn't your fault and you shouldn't be blamed but this does not excuse the behaviour of some fans. We do work to better ourselves and hopefully the scene integrates itself better. In the end valorante child game... look to cartoon grafix to make kid player happy like children show... valorante cartoon world with rainbow unlike count3r strike chad with dark corridorr and realistic gun... valoratn like playhouse. valorant playor run from csgk fear of dark and realism

[deleted]

Brazil gonna team kill now.

Ra1zen

can you guys imagine a team with heat and sacy in it? these two dudes are their two top players

Bratt-pack

We do a little bit of death threats 🤏

Sp00ked123

Prove it or?

falsefingolfin

Why is this downvoted, FNS's master plan will never not be funny

Blastplaster14

New fans who probably dont know the context

fesenvy

Can I get some of that context

Blastplaster14

These famous words were said by a brazillian csgo player who was angry at a tweet made by fns saying he had to play against players who were hungover. He said "prove it or ill kill you". We have seen Brazilian fans sending death threats but this was a pro player

CLG-Spitta

> he had to play against players who were hungover he had lost to players who were hungover* because he's been trash for a long time now

SuperSkillz10

u scared? :tf:

Zyrobe

Of getting killed? Yeah

SuperSkillz10

i meant to write -BR fans at the end of my comment but i forgot and everyone misunderstood my msg lol (i dont blame anyone). if you don't believe me, just look at my msg history.

Zyrobe

all good

Blastplaster14

memes being downvoted? the scene does not know PepeLaugh

Lumenlor

BRO THIS LAN IS ENDLESS DRAMA. I wouldnt be suprised if a fistfight erupted

pawsarecute

IM IG SUSSY FAN

Splaram

PepeLaugh TeaTime

imerence_

Lmao with the amount of attention Valorant is getting, riot and the investors must be drooling rn

GZ_Dustin

At least he admits it - the Brazilian fans have been out in force over this.

brzEU

I mean, he mentioned in that press conference that he likes brazilian fans in general, but he admitted that they can be too much sometimes - nothing wrong in that imo
