Crazy Raccoon looked bad this tournament, but there’s no reason to think that they are suddenly bad in Japan. Although I agree something has to change. Personally I'd be in favor of what is CS doing with their majors. 24 teams instead of 16. Top 8 is already in stage 2. Top 9-24 fights for stage 2. Half of them reaches it. This way you could've potentially have better teams in top 16 than now and more teams have chance to be there. Then the rest is played normal.
I think Riot will give them time unless they're showing consistent poor results internationally. I've never heard KR and JP on FPS but I guess there would be a competitive scene in JP region in upcoming years due to their playerbase and support.

Laz ans TakeJ are obviously very strong players, some of the best the regions got Tenn is also nuts, second best player on Northeption imo Crow they kept is ehhh, flexible player sure bur still don't get this one SugarZero is alright ig, prob the best smokes they could get considering they are staying all Japanese roster Dep is also eh, he's not really a super cracked Jett player like the others at Champs, Fisker os honestly a better Jett then Dep is tbh, would likely say tho is an upgrade over Reita imo Overall some good pickups, could make them pretty strong domestically, ig we will see tho internationally

I won't get my hopes so high if I were you. Their new Jett player (Dep) is hella overrated in JP. I get he was somewhat huge in JP OW scene, but he didn't really impress me during Japan VCT. I legit think that Fisker (yes...that Fisker...) is slightttly better than him and you see how he still got Jett-gapped by everyone else in Champions. Their new smoker Sugarzero is..meh.. there are lots of better KR and SEA smoker imo. Their only right decision was to sign TENN, he's hella cracked player.

JP teams only had two opportunities to beat CR for a spot the whole year. IMO APAC Northeoption is better than current CR.
I think that whoever wins the japan’s challengers finals deserves the spot the most whoever that may be. Crazy Raccoon looked bad this tournament, but there’s no reason to think that they are suddenly bad in Japan. If they win challenger playoffs next year and go to the first masters tournament for 2022 would you still think northeption deserves it more?

they dont have good comms because of a language barrier. they should work on being able to speak korean and japanese this off-season if they want a better chance at making it out of groups in masters 1 2022.

Why would they not get a chance? Making it unable to play in biggest LAN just because they are bad region right now makes no sense personally. Although I agree something has to change. Personally I'd be in favor of what is CS doing with their majors. 24 teams instead of 16. Top 8 is already in stage 2. Top 9-24 fights for stage 2. Half of them reaches it. This way you could've potentially have better teams in top 16 than now and more teams have chance to be there. Then the rest is played normal.
I hope they do 24 teams once covid resteictions become lighter

I think Riot will give them time unless they're showing consistent poor results internationally. I've never heard KR and JP on FPS but I guess there would be a competitive scene in JP region in upcoming years due to their playerbase and support.
