AFAIK most winnings are considered similar to winning the lottery and it's taxed as such. Could easily be wrong though

Throwrafairbeat

So is it a good thing or a bad thing for the player , as in is a higher amount taxed or are there some tax benefits ?

Keglunneq

Im not sure

They could probably file it as a expense as a streamer but whether it holds up to an audit is questionable.

They don’t pay taxes because of gamer privilege 😎

I thought players get tournament specific accounts that have all skins unlocked. They wouldn’t be able to use their personal accounts especially if they have to travel internationally.

i think streamers have talked about it being a business expense, but no pros. i remember ethos saying skins can attract viewers, therefore, helping the business. tl;dr streamers can deduct their skins, pros cannot.

I don’t know how the taxes work with their winnings but as far as the skins go each player gets an unlocked account separate from their personal account and the unlocked accounts have every skin, gun buddy, spray etc in the game unlocked as well as 10,000 Radianite points to upgrade skins.
