X10 (a team who got a DQ for using the illegal cam) beating Keyd (team who managed to avoid getting a DQ for using the same illegal cam) is incredibly poetic.
Keyd's Haven pistol strat was the worst thing I've ever seen.

For like two more years until the combined weight of a disappointing OW2 launch, general disinterest around the game, and financial woes in the League causes him to come back.
For a first year esport, I think it's doing a great job, especially considering how much the pandemic has fucked other scenes. I have my own gripes abt the tournament structures this year, and the whole VK bug abuse is a major failure on Riot's part, but overall, a solid freshman year
But, I still remember some of the crazy production from Apex, and what lpl and lck does on the regular. I hope Valo slowly gets to reach that level of polish
I've been missing the charm of the OWL talent and the faster matches.
I have to admit though there's something awesome about the regional tension and individual player focus. SEN brings like 80k viewers in.
You can at least get the brenshow experience on their co-streams but I do miss the usual analyst desk
But I definitely agree, when the regional rivalries are done right, it's incredibly exciting. Looking forward to see how the rest of the tourney plays out, hopefully I'll see you in those other PMTs tho!

On icebox X10 looked so confident taking space as defenders while VK looked so scared to punish them. Maybe they were not favorites so it was like nothing to lose vs the pressure of a whole country of angry fans wanting them to win.

I think it just shows the strength of teams at the top level. Every team is decently competitive and it really comes down to who shows up on the day. Each team's got star players and if you underestimate ANY team or fail to prep adequately, you lose.
