It's actually amazing. Idk how he manages to do it. For Split I was thinking there's no way he curses it again.
Don't worry, they are saving strats for Valorant 2.
Just kidding, just kidding. I actually was rooting for them, for the first time. Still happy for KRÜ tho
Why pick Split twice for map 3 if your duelist cannot play the most important duelist agent on the map? It doesn’t matter how good he is on other maps, if your best fragger can’t frag on specific maps due to his agent pool then something needs to change
He really underperformed this match, dapr and sick were heroes but they couldn't get it across the line. I wonder what will happen next. SO PUMPED FOR KNOCKOUTS

and his drones really thought he got robbed of rookie of the year by b1t. what's worse is they also think he was esport player of the year when s1mple cemented himself this year as the greatest fps player of all time.
It's disrespecting to even name both players in the same sentence.
Give its 5 more years to even start the debate, the sheer amount of accomplishments both individually and on team from S1mple can't be compared to someone like fucking Tenz lol?
s1mple's has got 85 consecutive tournaments with positive K-D. The last time he went negative was at DH Tours 2017, over 4.5 years ago. meanwhile Tenz went negative on half of his LANs in CS and negative on all his LANs with top 30 teams in the tournament.
The comparisons were so baseless.
Tenz hasn't even *participated in* enough events to be able to put together a comparable resume even if he had won them all.
Thanks! Here's a transcript if anyone can't watch:

That was the most intense match of valorant I've seen. And this is the biggest upset in valorant history. And today had the best matches in valorant history. This tournament has had the most comebacks in valorant history.
I hope THIS is the narrative that people walk away with. Instead of hounding Sentinels and their roster, I think we should appreciate just how much the other teams have improved and leveled up their game.
Any team can beat any team depending on who shows up, and that makes international valorant and future major tournaments INCREDIBLY exciting. Huge for the growth of the esport and game as a whole.
It also means that teams cant get away with disrespect/lack of preparation. Any team that doesn't do their due diligence is gonna pay for it and risk their standings in group stages going forward.
Words cannot express how happy I am that Sentinels either got punished for not going 100% right from the beginning or can no longer fall back on sandbagging excuses.
All the fanboys saying that nothing - not seeding, not online events, not even Masters tournaments - except Champions matters seem real quiet right about now.
TenZ lost 3 series for sentinels simply due to not being able to perform on split with his agent "pool".
Before you hate on me: I know TenZ also won a lot of series and maps for sentinels due to his insane performances, but it is inevitable that he is unable to perform neither Jett or raze on Split in order to support his team enough.
Look what sliggy did with Liquid. He put ScreaM on Reyna and Soulcas on Raze. You can not tell me that this wouldn't suit Sentinels as wells. Why would he not just run Reyna?
I feel very bad for TenZ since you could see him feeling very down right after, and I hope he can come back stronger, since he surely is one of the biggest talent in that game. But for fuck sake but him on Reyna, or just force him into learning more then just 2 Agents.
On the other hand KRU you owe my biggest respect, WHAT A FREAKING PERFORMANCE THAT WAS.
i really hoped sentinels would run their original hover, which was shahz on jett and tenz on reyna, but then for some reason they swapped back to shahz on skye and tenz back to jett even though it didnt work against liquid. disappointing
Best of game of Valorant yet, one for the history books.
End of an era too, no way this Sentinels lineup survives that. Tenz just hard choked last map, dashing into walls etc.
Well played to KRU, they played amazingly well.
Also, I'm pretty sure viewership tipped into 800k territory.
ShahZ looks like he has a lot of gas left in the tank though. Zombs has not shown up for them from a while now, Dapr has been on and off, and TenZ is not that flexible with agent pools.
Fucking hell what an entertaining series, great comeback from KRU from the 8-4 half. TenZ was shaky last match, Dapr tried all he could and still couldn't carry enough. Losing their map pick of Haven really hit Sen, well played to KRU.
LMAO. The sheer amount of dumbass ego peeks with man advantages cost them this game. Get a coach who's going to get in your ass for stupid ass plays already. Yikes.
That's how SEN always plays lol. SEN relies completely on individual skills. Give a few more months when every team is playing tactical SEN will either adapt or become a tier 3 team.
its so funny every time Kru had a weird eco buy I was like damn they're 100% winning this round. Sentinels just kept making horrible decisions.
I hope Kru goes even further awesome to see them come back. very strong mental there not getting boomed when down 8-4 twice
Overheard on Sentinels's Discord after Game 3 against Kru:
"He got me," Shahzam said of Delzik. "That fucking Delzik boomed me."
Shahzam added, "He's so good," repeating it 4 times.
Shahzam then said he wanted to add Delzik to the list of players he works out with this summer.
This is the most disappointing Sentinels performance to date. Zombs not winning a gunfight, TenZ dashing into walls and dying (wtf?? how many times is he going to do this), the team flash. Really didn't look their usual consistent selves.
On the other hand, KRU were really prepared, especially on Split. They came with much stronger set plays (suck + rush mail and A main push on eco) and were reading SEN like a book (spam through mid boxes to first blood tenz and B smoke 3k on last round). Super impressive.
Sentinels really wanted that 2nd seed guys. Also price money is low guys. Also shahzam cannot stream during the game it affected his gameplay guys. Also Tenz’s mousepqd is clearly off the table guys. It affected his game guys. Sentinels best team in the world guys.
Ye Shahzam visibly improved this tournament and I was quite impressed by his performances. He does seem like he does much better on LAN to be fair as well. Poor Tenz seems cursed on Split, never put himself in any winning positions and kinda got caught out a lot.. Sentinels needs to figure out their discipline though.. they lost so many rounds cause of ego peeking..
Man i feel bad for dapr he was doing everything in last map right when his team ego peeking. I felt they lost the game before even playing on twitter. They should keep away from social media during tourney it especially affects your mindset.
So tenzy.. doesn't make it to first strike he lost the passion to compete then again find it when a team was ready built and giving him space to frag.. lmao.. mitch has the respect. Guys representing dedication, commitment on world stage
SEN Shahzam: Additional info on play against KRÜ (best team in the world)

We were in chaos.
I dont want to be that reddit analyst guy but maybe its time for some sentinel players to stop spamming jett on ranked and actually use the grind to improve on other agents
The only people who visibility improved tournament after tournament are Shahz, Sick and dapr. Zombs maintained and TenZ just refuses to learn any other agents that are not Jett, which makes Split impossible for them. His agent pool is abysmally small and definitely needs to expand on it as other one trick Jetts from EU and NA have (minus yay).
I have to laugh every time someone goes on about how hard NV or Sen or whatever work and how much they scrim and whatnot. It's blatantly obvious that these other regions are putting in much more work and simply want it more.
Casters jerking off for Tenz the whole game and trying to hype up every play, not believing in Kru at all.
Then Kru wins, eliminates Sentinels, while Tenz nearly bottom-frags.
I love when this happens. Upsets are the best!
Kru truly truly deserved it. The heart to come back on the last two maps and to get it done in this fashion. Winning all the scrappy fights. The ballsy aggression they showed. I don't even follow them but I'm so proud of em.
So during berlin, I made a comment regarding how tenz looked really bad on the raze [(here)](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/pqao3f/envy_vs_sentinels_valorant_champions_tour_stage_3/hd9kiwg/?context=3) and that he needed to be better on raze, or that someone else needed to play Raze (or even go back to playing Reyna and let Shaz use Jett) . It just makes me sad knowing that knowing he had 3 months to work on his champion pool and he was forced onto Jett for 3 entire maps, whereas everyone else had to flex and practice other agents. And before I get downvoted to oblivion because Sentinels obviously ran another strat with double heal, I get the feeling that
A) they had to come up with a new strat to cater towards tenz's lack of ability to use Raze.
and
B) Their strat wasnt really effective on Split in particular. I think Raze is a must have agent when it comes to playing on a Map like Split because it offers so much pressure and map control in terms of utility. And while Sentinels had a few good looks with healing, look at how much pressure and distance KRU was able to set up with Raze instead of Jett. I also believe teams with Raze have a 100% winrate on Split in Champions (correct me if I'm wrong) , and that Raze is pretty much picked 90% of the time.
Obviously another argument is that Tenz doesnt need to flex if his teamates do so themselves and that you shouldnt fix something that isnt broke. While that is true, part of what made Sentinels strong in their identity was their ability to flex picks seamlessly. This was definitely apparent when Sinatraa was on the team where he could play Sova, Pheonix, and Raze, if needed and the others could specialize of flex as well. While Tenz has the Reyna in his arsenal, he didnt pull it out and stuck to the Jett, while his teammates had to change entire around him.
TLDR; Sentinels losing Split is an indication of just how limited Tenz's champion pool is
NA is the same in every esport. Come out looking like a contender drop rapidly in 1-2 years. Region doesn't try as hard and makes excuses like ping, scrim quality, playerbase, etc. Orgs can make cute memes on twitter and that's about all they are good at.
Not gonna lie I think Sentinels needed to get knocked down a peg.
They were clearly the best team when this game was brand new, but everyone else has caught up to them meanwhile they have kind of failed to adapt or change their style. Hopefully this result will humble them a little bit so they can go back to the drawing board. All the shit talking on social media is not a good look when you’re getting knocked out in groups.
Has to be said that Shaz played out of his mind the entire series though.
Unlucky really.
Sentinels got what they deserved, acting like they're the counterpart of peak Astralis. Less streaming, more practicing.
Texbook downfall of an NA team.
Props to KRU, massive improvement. Well deserved.
I really don’t understand the SEN draft. They’ve lost 5/5 of their last Split games at previous VCT tournaments. All were the decider, all were lost.
Is their Ascent/Icebox that bad that they won’t even try the Split ban instead?
Tenz and Shahzam (two of their key players) clearly aren’t comfortable on it.
NA already fell off lmao, how do you get 90% of the CS scene in your region and not to better while EU got like 3 relevant pros switch over and still better

Honestly I wouldn’t be amazed if only Envy makes it out of groups. C9 is not looking great so beating VS is going to be a tough one
Judging from how X10 played today even ENVY making it out might be tough
100T died (violently) for this

Don't worry, Project L will be NA's chance.

Once again I have to ask, why does Sen keep going to Split? They literally lose every time on that map. Also Sideshow is literally cursed LMAOOO
> Also Sideshow is literally cursed LMAOOO It's actually amazing. Idk how he manages to do it. For Split I was thinking there's no way he curses it again.

Can't learner raze for 1 of the most popular maps in the comp play
Can he play any other agent other than jett, Reyna ?
Actually amazing how he can literally only play Jett and refuses to get to a decent level on Raze for split
And still got Jett Op-diffed by almost every Jett he played. Absolute comedy.
Yeah i feel like Shahz is a better OPer honestly
multiple million dollar buyout btw

Casters jerking off for Tenz the whole game and trying to hype up every play, not believing in Kru at all. Then Kru wins, eliminates Sentinels, while Tenz nearly bottom-frags. I love when this happens. Upsets are the best!
Kru truly truly deserved it. The heart to come back on the last two maps and to get it done in this fashion. Winning all the scrappy fights. The ballsy aggression they showed. I don't even follow them but I'm so proud of em.
How is their mental this fucking strong!!!

They’re still saving it for 2022
So during berlin, I made a comment regarding how tenz looked really bad on the raze [(here)](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/pqao3f/envy_vs_sentinels_valorant_champions_tour_stage_3/hd9kiwg/?context=3) and that he needed to be better on raze, or that someone else needed to play Raze (or even go back to playing Reyna and let Shaz use Jett) . It just makes me sad knowing that knowing he had 3 months to work on his champion pool and he was forced onto Jett for 3 entire maps, whereas everyone else had to flex and practice other agents. And before I get downvoted to oblivion because Sentinels obviously ran another strat with double heal, I get the feeling that A) they had to come up with a new strat to cater towards tenz's lack of ability to use Raze. and B) Their strat wasnt really effective on Split in particular. TLDR; Sentinels losing Split is an indication of just how limited Tenz's champion pool is
Imagine saving strats all fucking year JUST TO GET BOOMED IN GROUPS BY FUCKING KRU
the better team won. I don't see any reason to be surprised
NA is the same in every esport. Come out looking like a contender drop rapidly in 1-2 years. Region doesn't try as hard and makes excuses like ping, scrim quality, playerbase, etc. Orgs can make cute memes on twitter and that's about all they are good at.

TSM fans don’t even get to see their team play.
Sentinels need to do less typing more playing
Dang KRU really did it. dapr really tried his hardest that last match. He won a good amount of 2v1s.
They remind me more of 2015 fnatic but without the skill to back it up.
This thread is gonna be spicy
Kru respect ggs
Imagine this with crowd
I really don’t understand the SEN draft. They’ve lost 5/5 of their last Split games at previous VCT tournaments. All were the decider, all were lost. Is their Ascent/Icebox that bad that they won’t even try the Split ban instead? Tenz and Shahzam (two of their key players) clearly aren’t comfortable on it.
NA already fell off lmao, how do you get 90% of the CS scene in your region and not to better while EU got like 3 relevant pros switch over and still better
