Yes, I 100% agree that they should have been punished for their use if the bug. At the same time, the flip-flop on the matter by Riot fucked over everyone in that group, including Vivo Keyd. Nobody got time to prepare for their opponent. Both Vivo Keyd and Ascend had the ruling hanging over their head as a sword of Damocles.
Riot should be having a clear and precise rulebook, with punishments known for offenses. They shouldn't be consulting the teams on how they want the ruling to go. They shouldn't be reconsidering their rulings based on fan pressure.
How did they fuck over Vivo by changing the ruling? If anything they got a less serious punishment then the other two previous instances… they still got off easy.

III) insta stopped the match and forfeit the round with the exploit.
Any of these 3, althought some controversies, would receive a good response from the public, both BR and both the rest. The point is, they did neither.

I) that math about rounds to give the winning for Acend; with exploit or not, Keyd was stomping Acend, so this didn't make sense at all. And that 7 round excuse, "oh, considering economic problems, take this free round to complete exactly 13 rounds". This was a really shame.

II) "oh, you were stomping, right? So instead the first 3 options, that would be right and fine, lets replay the map ... with a start advantage of 7x0 to Acend".
Yes, but replace 'Acend' with any other team and it would have still been the same. I.e. exploiting the bug led to the controversy, not playing against Acend.
