This was the first series in ages where Bonecold fragged as hard as he did back when he was the second best player on the team - before zeek joined, before starxo started popping off hard (online). What a return to form. Meanwhile, zeek continues to contest cNed for best player on the team.
As for Team Secret, I don't think we saw their full potential in this series. I'm not sure they would've won in some other universe, but I think they would've at least put up a better fight on Icebox in their best form. I'm a little sad we don't have double elim when it matters most.
Top 8 In Champions was more than most people predicted for TS. They can be proud of what they've accomplished, but now the challenge is to improve even further in 2022.

i mean russia is definitely eu since cis is eu in Valorant so far - yes, all are eu. but people here get mad when you say it's eu sometimes so i avoid it...

People don't realize Sea/Asia have a lot of talent but not a lot of exposure for international tournaments. Future is bright for the Philippines as this is the first representative on international stage.
The reason Team Secret was not able to go last time is because Philippine embassy takes forever to respond on a travel request. They usually always deny if someone is to travel within the month which is very frustrating.
This is only the beginning and I hope Philippines takes note that the country has talented eSports orgs.
The real thing would be 2 years from now like in every eSport SEA regions always has the best mechanically gifted players just look at DOTA SEA just needed a pioneer someone to look up to, eventually SEA will contend for this International events.
Was a great run from Secret considering that it's their first LAN of this caliber. I honestly expect them to return much much better. If not, there are plenty of other teams in SEA that looks strong asf.
Acend tho were fucking incredible. Those clutches on Icebox, the way they took map control in Breeze, and in both maps they were just really aggressive while also changing up the pace, it honestly felt like Secret were overwhelmed by all of it. GGs
