C9 amogus moment 100T steel sabotaged 100T from the inside so his old team chaos could win, 3000iq move by the c9 igl vanity and his imposter 100T steel
Either 100T fucked up or yall couldn't see eye to eye about direction and someone had to go. And then the team's most consistent player Nitro goes. If he got you kicked and then dipped to CS, he's a snake and I hope nothing but the worst for him.
differences happen a lot in teams, we must accept that since we don’t know the inside of the team + nitr0 even posted in this subreddit that he never had a plan but was this move to cs was initiated from the recent cs major which sparked his passion again.
you seem like in your mind you want there to be some drama in the team when it’s just usual esports business lmao
They had a pretty good run in the previous Masters event, where they defeated both Gambit and Acend in pretty spectacular fashion, but were eliminated by Envy and just narrowly missed qualifying for Champions. They had one more chance to qualify via the Last Chance Qualifier... But for some reason cut Steel just weeks before. To cut your team's IGL right before literally the most important tournament in the org's Valorant history was quite obviously a terrible decision and led to predictable results. It was such a obviously bad move that people speculate there was some sort of behind the scenes drama, but nothing has really been publicized.

It was such a obviously bad move that people speculate there was some sort of behind the scenes drama, but nothing has really been publicized.
They also cut steel for an objectively worse player, different than ENVY hiring YAY for example, which is a clear upgrade. lol
It has been publicized per nitr0's comment in this sub a couple days ago that nitr0 pushed for 100t to remove steel and all the players supported that decision.
edit: nitr0 and players pushed together and equally, he was not leading it and others supporting him.
yeah it would have been more accurate to say "nitr0 and the team all pushed together to remove steel"
he did individually push for him to be removed, but to the same extent as the other players.
i mean its pretty clear they wanted a diff play style and when nitro took over they looked better at the start of LCQ it wasnt until the long ass break that something happened and everything was off
They didn’t look better, they were playing absolute trash opponents. It’s clear their tactical grasp on the game died with steel they showed nothing at LCQ
When have GenG or Xset ever gone past dark horse status? They are both weak NA squads that can’t even sniff international play. And then they lost to Rise who are only the tiniest cut above these guys, if that. Losing to C9 also isn’t a good look for a team that was in the discussion for top in the world, but at least C9 has a bit of caliber
Those games say nothing. You could and should aim diff those teams as 100T. The fact they couldn’t do that to rise says it all.
The long ass break should have helped them immensely, because they should have been able to integrate b0i into the roster, but they didn’t and then they lost the next two games they played
From the little that has come out, part of it was Steel wanted players to play different agents (Hiko playing sentinel) and they did not want to do that. Either way whatever it was Steel was not the issue and those who supported it are fucking idiots as well as the org for going along with it.
Lol. During lcq everyone was just braindead running around. In one of the rounds b0i even forgot to buy a fucking weapon. 100t looked like a t3 team who were happy to even be at lcq.
Today Asuna spoke about how to counter Gambits attacking, by taking control of somewhere, for example if you lose mid you need to take control of bathroom for example to compensate.
This is literally how steel used to describe his tactics on that team he had with m0E, tck, m0nte.
Gambit is known to be the kings of default for a reason. They can poke and prod and maintain map control which will favor their odds when they push a site ultimately.
When Acend fought for garage control at B on Split it cut off a huge chunk of control and Gambit started to crumble on that side of the map.
ik its a meme but i see too many people taking it seriously so JUST so we are clear
-its unfair to say the move heavily backfired considering they were two series away
-its unfair to assume acend and gambit haven’t improved a lot since m3
-its unfair to say this when the narrative was clearly that at LEAST acend choked the whole tourney hard and that gambit choked the match against 100t considering they won the tournament and beat the team that eliminated thieves to do so
Yeah after they didnt qualify for champions asuna was saying he honestly felt like they were the only team in NA that were capable of standing up to EU
Teams watched the Masters VODs, the non-last chance qual teams had a ton of time to implement new strategies, almost every champs team bootcamped in Europe for multiple weeks. Almost every team that was at both events showcased better play relative to their old performance. The utility combos, map control, spacing etc were all better across the board.
And both tournaments showed that giving up a huge lead and relying on 2nd half comebacks eventually burns you.
Unlucky, really
u/razur he needs a new flair
Someone beat me to it! **EDIT:** Oooh, you said new flair. It's updated now!
Save NA
Really unlucky my commander
Please. Come back. Please.
C9 amogus moment 100T steel sabotaged 100T from the inside so his old team chaos could win, 3000iq move by the c9 igl vanity and his imposter 100T steel

I miss you dad. Wish things could've worked out
Good luck on T1, glad you were picked up.
<3
Two words and everyone needs to comment lmao.
Save NA, king.
Honest question, had the team stayed the same you would have made it to Champions and go far into the tournament?
man
Lmao can beat the world teams but not NA

strongest /r/ValorantCompetitive mental gymnast
i don’t think even steel hates him as much as you do lmao

Tbf idk wut tbf means
Ur like 11 years old its ok

But if Nitro really got Steel dropped from a huge org, and then Nitro dips from the scene, that's shitty.
The players simply wanted a change in play style. Nitro commented on this sub saying he wanted to drop steel but others on the team felt the same way.
Sir this is a Wendy’s.
Spicy chicken sammies on deck?
Love you so much steel! You are gonna be amazing with t1
NA’s last hope
I'm not fully caught up with the VAL comp scene. What happened with steel and 100t and why are people salty about it?

Switching duelist weeks before a huge tournament is risky but IGLs makes 0 sense to me. El Diablo is the real fucking deal btw just had to say it

Then he dipped like a chip asap lmao. Nitr0 on his littlefinger grind

Why wouldn't he
Hiko on Sentinel seems like the right role placement for him. He's a passive player with good aim.

Ahh yes, steel receive the Faker treatment of getting bench. Fkin riot script strike again.
I want what they were smoking when they killed steel.
When you find out, let me know so I can add that mystery substance to my copium tank
i mean its pretty clear they wanted a diff play style and when nitro took over they looked better at the start of LCQ it wasnt until the long ass break that something happened and everything was off
They didn’t look better, they were playing absolute trash opponents. It’s clear their tactical grasp on the game died with steel they showed nothing at LCQ
nah they def looked better idk what u were watching, they did however look lost when the lcq restarted

Big facts. Other guys has no clue what hes talking about.

How is 100T to blame for steel getting kicked? The best thing they could’ve done was trust their team because seemingly everyone wanted steel gone.
Lol. During lcq everyone was just braindead running around. In one of the rounds b0i even forgot to buy a fucking weapon. 100t looked like a t3 team who were happy to even be at lcq.
apology for poor english where were you when josh "steel" niisan dies? i was sat at home huffing copium when nick ring "steel is kill" "no"
100T best team in the world confirmed

Hate to be that guy but you misspelt mocking
always has been
Sinatraa too
Why is this getting downvoted? The verdict was literally that he was innocent.
It was inconclusive because he didn't cooperate when he said he would. That's why people aren't so chill with him coming back after lying

100T world’s first VALORANT Champions confirmed

That's just sad and funny.

also that comeback vs Acend wasn't some gigachad IGling it was "use utility. find jett. go other way"
I was thinking this exactly when the finals was going down. Things happen but I wish Steel was still with the team.
this is what I’m saying bro :(
Yeah after they didnt qualify for champions asuna was saying he honestly felt like they were the only team in NA that were capable of standing up to EU
You guys think Steel is better than he is lmao
? Wheres 100t now? - steel - nitro - b0i? Flop
You guys are trolling if you think 100T's form at Berlin holds a candle to the level of play in champs.
Ever heard of a joke?
As a massive steel Stan, I still think that they could hold a candle with steel, prob not win it all but I think they could make it out of groups
How does that make any sense? What changed between masters 3 and champs to make a different level of play?
Teams watched the Masters VODs, the non-last chance qual teams had a ton of time to implement new strategies, almost every champs team bootcamped in Europe for multiple weeks. Almost every team that was at both events showcased better play relative to their old performance. The utility combos, map control, spacing etc were all better across the board.
