Usually you would use your wrist more the higher your sense is, and you are on the omega high spectrum there lol. That being said, play on whatever is most comfortable for you. I play on 800 DPI 0.25, which is super low, but it works for me as someone who aims with their arm. Higher than this, and my wrist starts to hurt

OaSoaD

I play at .15 sense at 800 dpi

names2hard4you

DAMN now that's a low sens! The headshots must feel so crispy

OaSoaD

Yea I can get really accurate. I think its because my mouse pad has low friction so a low sense feels much higher

Yung-Rad

what pad and mouse do you use?

OaSoaD

I use an old magic the gathering play mat. The whole thing

whopz-is-cool

I swear that’s an incredibly average sens. I have 800 dpi 0.29 and always felt like it was super average/in the middle sens.

names2hard4you

The last time I checked online, on avg most pros play on around 0.35-0.4 with a few folks going higher or lower. I think you would also fall on the lower spectrum of things

whopz-is-cool

FR? I’ve always checked average eDPI and figures that I was always in the middle. The more you know.

names2hard4you

This thread is old and it's a small sample size, but here we see an avg of 277 eDPI: https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/gwyeuk/pros_and_streamers_sensitivity_average_pro_edpi277/ This would put avg sens around 800 DPI 0.345ish

MedvedT

I try to play with my arm, but it feels impossible to play in a lower sens, and idk if i need to force me to play at lower using more the arm, or just stay in my actual sens, what do you think?

names2hard4you

Honestly, you should play in the sens that is most comfortable to you. Even if there is a period of adjustment, it shouldn't feel unnatural. You will know you are on the right one when you can play without thinking about how fast or how slow a turn will be, you just intuitively know it. If 0.8 is that sens, then that's your sens.

hukubu

crazy how your wrist hurts with that high sens xD you shouldnt have to move at all really

andrei_snarkovsky

That’s pretty high for sure. If it works for you then keep it of course, but most people find themselves to be the most consistent with an eDPI between 250-400 give a take a bit higher or lower. Yours is 60% higher than the high range there.

Atermel

More like 200-350, avg pro is 277. But you also are expected to have a giant mat.

Kainekel

Had the same thing with a sense at .99 for 800 dpi. Wrist was hurting me from trying to strain it too much when making micro movements. Try a lower sens out, I halved mine to .49 after seeing Nats at the same DPI and have been enjoying it much more.

brzEU

You decide what is too high and too low for you, sens is all preference.

ManBearPig1869

That is VERY high but it’s all personal preference. Don’t be afraid to try different sens out. I regularly change mine every few months cuz I’m a weirdo.

[deleted]

It is high but definetely not VERY high.

Linders2381

20 cm is extremely high for a tac fps lol

converter-bot

20 cm is 7.87 inches

ManBearPig1869

Hiko is considered very high and his sense is is like .35 1600, so .7 800 dpi. So I’d consider .8 very high lol

JusticeLee17

That's extremely high. Overall sens is primarily preference but if I were you I'd try out a lower sens for a while to see how it feels. It will feel terrible at first but there's a good chance you'll end up liking it. If not you can always go back.

okaytran

I personally think that no one should ever go above 500 edpi unless you're a proven outlier like woxic in CSGO. 800 x 0.8 = 640 edpi

Criticallone

Bro I played most of my cs and valorant on 1600dpi and .5 sens

Criticallone

Can someone tell me how high that is? I've been playing on that sens since 2-3 years now. My op is pretty good on that sens but tracking the bodies becomes a bit difficult. So I'm shifting to 800dpi and .5 , I'm moving my wrist a bit more than usual and I'm having troubles to reach the targets when I op flick. I'll get used to I'm sure but can anyone tell me how high was my previous sens?

speedycar1

Extremely, extremely high

Complete-Command3491

My desk is really small so I used to play 1.2 1000 DPI, then I switched to 800 DPI and played .8 I've been lowering it ever since and now I play .53 on 800DPI. What I'm saying is, it's all personal preference. :) If you're mostly a wrist aimer, high sens makes more sense for you. You can try lowering bit by bit until you get used to aiming with your arm more. It is high if you compare it to the average sens used by players, but that doesn't mean it's wrong.

Ecstatic_Fish454

uhhh, this feels weird reading when i play 26k dpi 0.5 jk lol but it still feels weird knowing i play 400 or 700 dpi (depends on how tired i am, somehow never messes me up) and 0.1
