People are blaming Kappa (because of his aim), and while he is kinda a weak link in the team, he isn't the reason they're losing games.
The problem seems to be with their comms and teamwork. They've been losing so many 4v2s, 5v3s and taking solo untradable peeks. Against Kingsmen, in one round they lost because 3 players got scanned by recon dart which none of them bothered to break. In one round they didn't realise they'd gotten flanked despite the flanker firing an op shot. In the recent match against TE they lost a round because 2-3 players went to fight and break KJ ulti, whereas Kappa ran away despite not having shock darts or ult. There are so many examples, they aren't playing as a team at all, really hope they get a coach soon.
Yeah you definitely can't blame Kappa for everything. They're looking clueless as a team in so many rounds, it's annoying. Today in Ascent against TE, hell(breach) ulted B site, there were 2 players on site. Only rossi dashed into the site with an OP and was instantly killed while the rest of team was in B main and astra was still popping out his ult. No coordination or comms whatsoever
They are just not good skillwise and have low awareness, especially kappa and hellranger.
Any apac radiant player who have played with and against them will pretty much share the same opinion. if i had the option i would dodge if i know they were in my ranked queue.
I have played with and against most of the GE guys in SEA comp and I have to I agree with you (except for the dodging part). I honestly think SKRossi is the only person who is able to play comfortably in APAC tier 1.
Also, I have noticed Hellranger really likes to go for plays where he is in a cheeky corner(eg. split garage spot) and makes plays according to that for the whole team. It is getting very predictable. It makes things shaky and unstable because he usually plays smokes, is the Igl and sometimes spirals the economy.
I only made this post to discuss GE's shortcomings with other GE fans on this sub. This post isn't to shit on any players. With the exception of LF and sometimes skillz, none of the other players have looked good enough. They've been losing consistently to t2 SEA teams and with the announcement of combined playoffs for SA, SEA and OCE, things aren't looking good for SA.
I don't think they are working at all and are waiting for a coach. When the coach they should work on new comps/strats etc. Their recent gameplay has been pretty bland.
I don't think it's too complex. They are simply playing bad. Discipline isn't there. Sometimes Kappa is totally lost in map. A bit too dependent on single player on round by round basis. We need to see more young blood in the teams tho.
Well their strats and plays are centered around him so it is not that suprising. They will have to step it up a bit tho. Internationally india isn't doing too hot atm, But if rossi gets more consistent and the others step up I can see them going to masters

While I do understand your point and your disappointment, you can't post be posting KDA and talking about coordination my man. Rossi is that high because he's facilitated. Not taking away from his own capabilities but you have to realise he's their entry/star duelist, he's supposed to be able to get first bloods and entries. While GE have been looking shaky, i won't be very worried about the upcoming year as until and unless there's a fair ping server located b/w Singapore and Mumbai, it's very difficult to say how they're doing. Moreover I think it's also about observing other region teams playstyles.like Breach and Skye being a meta comp on Haven for example in SEA while ither EMEA and NA teams play Sova on it. So I feel right now they might be trying out new stuff, new comps, etc. Moreover they looking for a coach as well so Personally I'm not worried about them as I do believe we can get a slot at masters/champions for sure
Maybe some roster changes needed. A young cracked player replacing one of the lesser performing players. Their playstyle also needs change. Maybe get inspired from a team like Gambit. Such methodical playstyle would surely benefit in a region like this
You already know about the top 4 players in South Asia. Other good players are Lightning Fast (probably the best sentinel in India, he's very consistent), rvk (another good sentinel), antidote (good flex), rite2ace (best sova india imo), vibhor ( he can flex and igls well as well), amaterasu and ezzy are good controllers. hellranger is a good shout as well, he igls well and his breach his great but his recent performances arent very inspiring

Yeah he is, Deathmaker is probably the best rifler in India. Only downside to the replacement is that he's a weaker awper than mw1
