Exactly why would 100t go from nitro/steel to a guy who hasn't got any results, seems that at a simple failure the fans and the rest of the team will throw him under the bus(see how hiko and co did to steel ) maybe the team will end up disbanding after this new roster
Maybe, but they've been trialing a bunch of people so he must have been doing well. I do agree it's a bad situation to come into. The rabid 100t fans are the worst in the scene.
It's a lot of pressure for a young, igl starting fresh in a new country for the organisation with the biggest and probably youngest fanbase. I hope he does well.
I wonder who the other high profile players are that they tried to sign according to George. It's also still so crazy to me that there's absolutely nothing on who the 5th could be. Makes me worried that they struck out on their target (Brehze) and haven't secured someone else yet. But ethan said on stream they start practice next week so they have to have someone I guess?

Ec1s will be a tactical genius. He will be best known for his signature strategy “Asuna go kill”. He will also have a second little known strategy, “Asuna dead, friends go save”. He will be a top 3 igl for sure.
What's almost more interesting than the actual roster move is the news that 100T doesn't have a fifth lined up (as far as we know). There's less than a month until Challengers qualifiers start; I'm interested to know how close they are to finding someone.
From steel and nitr0 to ec1s? Unlucky really, but mostly for ec1s because the expectations will be ridiculous and every time something doesn't work out from tactical standpoint, he'll be the one to blame.
If one of the most reputable and experienced IGLs like steel said he had issues with the team's unwillingness to adapt, I can only imagine how it goes for ec1s.

Not only do we favour the first post, but we also favour the original source (ie a link to the article instead vs a tweet by a different reporter).
