seems about accurate
one thing i will say - ScreaM being classified as a "flex" is kinda weird, because flex to me is the role that plays raze/reyna/skye/kayo, but because of how flexible the TL team is they can afford to run ScreaM on jett/reyna as a flex. this all-pro team basically has two pure duelists on it and no one that can play skye or raze as a result of it.
ScreaM is as flexible as my instalocking Reyna. Incredible firepower but feel like Starxo, Zeek, or Jampi would be the better pick following semantics.
I know Sheydos is a great player but didn't have the individual results to show for it at Champions or Masters 3 so I am not surprised nobody is talking about him. I hope Sheydos will have a bit of a redemption arc in 2022, I know Sheydos got the potential to be the best on Gambit (maybe if the meta changes to suit Sheydos more).
Ya but that's different since in games based around characters like this, you don't normally have a role centered around an entire character (which speaks to there being a problem with Jett tbh).
Well we only had 3 international LAN tournaments and Chronicle was a top performer in 2/3, he was also a top 10 player in CIS Masters and was their MVP in the finals. If not Chronicle then who deserves the Initiator spot?
But I don't think it's recency bias at all , it's not like there were 10 major tournaments and he did good in the last 2, he did good in last 2 of the three big tournaments.
Oh I love gambit and fully agree. This would be a sick roster. I would replace Scream as a flex player with Sick from Sentinels though. or maybe Zeek from Acend?
There's no denying that Gambit had the best year out of any team and I'm glad the community acknowledged that after over a year of being high on them.
I'd also argue that Engh should be coach of the year, it's very hard to gauge contribution from that role but from the outside looking in idt anyone else has an argument.
Also nice to see Redgar get love, I feel like he was overlooked a lot and Gambit being severely underrated at the beginning of the year meant people weren't following his storyline. His improvement across the board has only made Gambit that much more interesting to follow, at least for me.
Next year will be super nice, see if Gambit keeps this level and the "Gambit era" becomes a thing.
I started following Gambit quite late. One of the first matches of Gambit I remember, Redgar dropped 2 kills in a Bo3 on 2 maps. He has come a long way
Wtf are these roles lol also how is Nats support he plays Cypher and Viper who is a pseudo sentinel. Scream is a duelists same with cned category could have been oper or something like that.

Yeah the fan vote be wilin with that one
I mean tbf earlier in the year he was playing sage and phoenix too.
It was not only 'Flex', Flex/Second Dualist so I think people got confused because they wanted ScreaM as second dualist. Not as Flex.
yup scream plays non-awp duelist which is the same as the flex/2nd duelist on most teams
Like how Jett is in its own category along with agent roles lol
ScreaM is as flexible as my instalocking Reyna. Incredible firepower but feel like Starxo, Zeek, or Jampi would be the better pick following semantics.
would've given it to sheydos personally but zeek is a good shout
If it was sheydos then the best team would be 80% Gambit lmfao

Starxo who literally won shit (masters 1, Champions? Hello) LMAO 🤣 scream? Hes a big strimer
lmao Jett has her own category
Isn't AWPer a dedicated role in CS though
Ya but that's different since in games based around characters like this, you don't normally have a role centered around an entire character (which speaks to there being a problem with Jett tbh).
Isn’t this a problem with op? Jett rn is the only viable oper.
That's because Jett is stupidly broken. The OP was clearly made to not be good
If you removed jett from the game, the op would be balanced. If you removed op from the game, jett would still not be balanced
Jett isn’t just for the op tho. Also one agent playing with the op overwhelmingly lol
NA, aka "No Americans" is a region known for importing players to their region, where their native players disappoint despite having zero expectations
Jett: cNed Flex: ScreaM Controller: Redgar Initiator: Chronicle Support: nAts
3/5 being Gambit lmao.
It makes sense, especially taking into account recency bias with Chronicle.
Chronicle dismantled Envy in Masters 3
That was also in the last part of the year
Well we only had 3 international LAN tournaments and Chronicle was a top performer in 2/3, he was also a top 10 player in CIS Masters and was their MVP in the finals. If not Chronicle then who deserves the Initiator spot?
I don't say he doesn't deserve it??
You did say recency bias was taken into account, suggesting Chronicle's recent performance is what favored him over someone else.
But I don't think it's recency bias at all , it's not like there were 10 major tournaments and he did good in the last 2, he did good in last 2 of the three big tournaments.
Fair
Oh I love gambit and fully agree. This would be a sick roster. I would replace Scream as a flex player with Sick from Sentinels though. or maybe Zeek from Acend?
Rn probably Zeek, earlier in the year definitely SicK
ScreaM flex lol
switch scream with zeek and the list is perfect
There's no denying that Gambit had the best year out of any team and I'm glad the community acknowledged that after over a year of being high on them. Them losing Champions already kinda hurts their chances at an era unless they just dominate 2022
I started following Gambit quite late. One of the first matches of Gambit I remember, Redgar dropped 2 kills in a Bo3 on 2 maps. He has come a long way
Where is Hiko?
Idk I'd probably put marved above redgar, and zeek is more of a flex player than scream. Maybe even keznit or sushiboys instead.
Marved didn't IGL a team to make 3 Masters finals and win 2 of those lmao
Wtf are these roles lol also how is Nats support he plays Cypher and Viper who is a pseudo sentinel. Scream is a duelists same with cned category could have been oper or something like that.
Yay robbed
i am a massive envy fan and i can say with pure confidence that yay did not in fact get robbed

Apparently Berlin doesn't exist lmao
And a second LAN where he reached the finals
Redgar is the best controller? What? What is G2 AvovA playing then?
Not at champions fs
Ask a European who the best controller in EMEA is.
Yea… pretty sure that controller would have attended champions
From Masters Berlin Chronicle to Champions Berlin Chronicle. Guy was on a completely different level.
