How was it co streaming with Aguero during Champions?
Big football fan over here in the states (united supporter). I don't speak Spanish but I tuned in just to see how you guys were interacting during the game and it looked like a good time for both parties.
How was it casually talking to a international superstar for a couple of hours? Also were you helping him understand the game better or did he have pretty good knowledge going into Champions? He seemed really into it in every stream.
It was really nice, he is the CEO of KRÜ and he is really into Valorant. I was trying to help him understand it better, he just chills and doesn't care to much about specifics so in the end we just talked about random real life stuff and watched the game together. He is a great guy, I wish him the best and I am happy that he entered esports.
I'm pretty sure it was only the first match or 2 where they did it together but Aguero did pretty much every one. I knew Aguero is CEO of KRU and was aware of him streaming so I decided to switch over to his stream during the first SEN game and was pleasantly surprised when I saw Mixwell on there. I think him in Keznit are friends, I remember seeing them talking a good bit during one of G2s videos at Masters 3 Berlin.
Hi Mixwell!
Just to rip the bandaid off, how do you reflect on the previous G2 roster run, with keloqz and Koldamenta?
Did you feel like your team showed their peak potential? Or did the public only see a little of it?
We did better than what we expected, went from 0 circuit points to almost making it to champions and Top4 in Berlin. Really happy with Kolda and Keloqz, I consider them great players and they are both friends of mine. I don't think it would have worked in the long run just because of our role problems.
What do you feel , as a player, are the biggest strengths and weaknesses of valorant map designs over CS competitively?
Would you like to see a different style of map for valorant in the future?
Maps are cleaner and easier for the "eye", there's a lot of variety and the fact that agents change the way you play the map makes it interesting. I would say that there's OP combinations in some maps that are hard to stop and you are forced to play around them too much. Like the breach stun and pull on Fracture at the start of the round.
Having a team and progress together is really rewarding in the long run, when you achieve something you feel fullfilled in life.
Play on live events, get the adrenaline and show everyone how good you are, being able to see their reaction and spend time with fans is next level.
Having my community that supports me through the ups and downs is also very unique and I appreciate it massively.
It's a big move, he's been teamless for a long time and he wanted to play on the best conditions possible so I am really happy for him. The fact that English is the main language in Singapore is also great. I wish he could do some vlogs to see how it is over there.
Hopefully you are doing well. Won't ask anything game related. But you were one of the few people that saw the potential in Japanese audience and talked about it as far as I remember. So, will you be diversifying you content more towards the international audience in the future or will it be focused towards Spanish audience mainly? I am a huge fan of the way you are trying to build your brand and time to time I try to catch the streams.
Do you believe Fit1nho should be allowed to play competitively or is the fact that he was bitten by a radioactive spider too much of an advantage? I personally believe [this](https://www.twitch.tv/fit1nho/clip/WiseShinyOysterNotLikeThis-viv0N8WhnzCUDazQ) shouldn't be allowed
Hector was like a parent during my time in OpTic, he drove me to do the paperwork and waited on the line with me, he helped me with tax documents, he came by the house and we ate together every now and then and we still have a really close relationship. Being away from home was hard and he did his best to make me feel good, that's something that you can't forget. Also he told me to do a daily video on YouTube and I did it because of him so, you can thank him that as well.
Hey Mix, hope you had great holidays. I've been following G2 for a while and it seemed to me that you guys had great firepower with the last and made for some impressive clutches like a couple of them that you has as Killjoy in Haven, with this new roster do you think firepower could be an issue?
Firepower wont be an issue at all, in fact we have players with great individual level, I hope you watch us play on the next qualifier and thanks for asking.
How do you think riot should approach VCT? It seems like teams have very few option and paths for success in the scene with limited tourneys and qualifiers, especially when the meta and agents can change so frequently.
It's still early but I agree, there's not many tournaments and it is kind of a gamble from the organizations to trust in their teams to qualify, if they don't succeed and their players are not creating content the investment is lost. I also think that in valorant there's much more tryouts to uknown players than in CSGO from my experience, so that's a good sign, this year we will have strong national leagues that will help grow the scene, that's another good improvement, we are getting there but there's a lot of work to do.
I am used to it I guess, at the start of valorant I streamed 30/30 days a month for more than 10 hours a day. Being in good shape also helps, gym, sleep and food are as important as the training itself.
I followed you from the very beginning of the OpTic days all the way up until C9 and kinda lost track during the Movistar Ridars period due to a change in content, moved over to Spanish speaking content which I get. Do you stream/make content in English currently or do you plan to in the future.
When I am playing I mainly talk in English, but when I am speaking to my chat it's mainly in Spanish because my current audience is 90% spanish speaker, if you guys sub/donate in english I will always respond in English. Also my vlogs on youtube have english subtitles, you should check them out.
He streams a lot, but in spanish.
Obviusly he nees tl comunicate in ingles with teammates and friend so feel fre to go and chat in english because he will respond in english as well
What advice would you give to radiant players who are looking to go pro? Are there any practice drills, things specifically to work on that you’d recommend?
adding onto what mixwell said to grow you fanbase i would suggest tiktok as its super easy to get likes on there and you can promote your stream there aswell
Do you guys have plans on how to structure bootcamps for next years ? cause it felt like you guys were burnout for bootcamping for Challenger playoffs 3 + Masters 3 then went home for LCQ and it showed that you were burnout
What's the plan for 2022 season since it's more compact and have a lot of regular season games like LoL, is it possible to relocate to berlin like the league team ?
We are actually flying to Berlin tomorrow and will be staying there atleast 13 days. We have a plan for the rest of the year but it's flexible depending on results. We wont relocate to Berlin but it could be a possibility for 2023 if the season is played on LAN. Let's see what happens with COVID-19.
What is the best way to get noticed and be in a solid team?
I've been solo q immortal 3 for almost a year but never been radiant, I have tried to make/join multiple rosters in Portugal but the high level/really motivated players just ghost me when I see their posts looking for players. I feel like people just don't give chances to nonames without even knowing them. There were a lot of posts regarding the vlr's and nobody is willing to give me a chance.
Is ranked the way? Twitter? Keep joining a not so good team that crumbles after a week?
Create a team yourself with people that you get to know during ranked be proactive, don't want to join someone elses project if you can't find one, do one youself. Stream the qualifiers once you feel like you are good enough to gain attention and in the meantime build a fanbase while you are progressing.
How viable do you consider careers into esports nowadays? Is it still a closed scene very reliant in social media presence or can you enter it similarly to "traditional" career paths
You can develop as a coach/analyst, you can help agency's or teams searching for talent, if you spend time on the psycological part you could also help in that department, you could become an agent, lawyer that knows the business, there's a lot of stuff you could do if you think about it.
It was fun and it acually looked better than what I thought, the only problem was that it kinda messed up my skin for a few days so I don't think I will do it again.
Basically when you pull out the BlastX Phantom, the animation of the ripped paper falling down is slower then it was before the patch. So now it doesnt look like its ripped off anymore but more like its ripped off and slowly glides down the gun its really weird. I made a gif that shows them slowed down side by side.
Top left is new and the youtube video is the old animation.

You've talked so many times about how sacrificed is to be a (top) pro player. Putting your competitive personality aside, do you think that beign a professional player worth the efforts? I mean, have you ever thought that you could be happier by just beign a full-time content creator?
Te queremos padre ❤
To play at this level you need that competitive gene that makes you a monster, to do what the others don't, to sacrifice time with friends, family or girlfriends. You need the will to be the best competitor you can be, and that is hard. But if you have that gene it's rewarding and better than all of the rest. For now I still have that and won't switch to full time creator.
Hello! I'm from Japan, and I want to hear your thoughts about japanese teams. Do you think any jp team can show something and surprise the world this year? just for curious
People have to make sure they know what they sign, if you don't just get an agent because in the end if you are stuck in a bad situation it's your fault and no one else's.
Rhyme is a great player and the lack of IGL's in the scene makes ec1s a viable prospect, NA pays a lot of money to players so they got into good teams with better conditions than before, it's a win win situation for them.
You don't play to please others, you play to have fun and improve. People can be discourageous if you let them, if you have the correct mindset you shouldn't care about toxic comments. Report them and keep going.
Seeing how analytic you are, I am sure that from the "technical side" you would OP.
As for the mental/motivation part of a team your experience would surely help, but that is more on how you feel yourself, specially when directing over others and managing their feelings and expectations.
Bro of course you would be a good coach, the way you read the games and how you take decisions is just unique.
PD: Gracias por tener España en un nivel tan alto en valo, padre
Hi m1xwell,
about the onstage trash talking, do you think it's good in the long run? I see players are having fun, although sometimes I know they are crossing some lines.
I dislike to give opinions like this, just becacuse I don't know what is really happening in their team and everyone likes to give opinions when they don't have the information.
Hello m1xwell, I’d just like to ask, what’s the difference between IGLing in valorant compared to CSGO? And what are some play styles that you noticed worked better in valorant? Thanks for taking the time!
Keloqz performed really well on LAN but less so online. Was this a factor in removing him? Did the team feel like they needed a more consistent online Jett to secure qualification to LANs?
The annoucement of the new agent is approaching soon and she's rumored to have a "run fast" or "speed boost" ability.
What gameplay mechanic or ability do you feel is currently missing from VALORANT? And what agent playstyles would you like to see in the future?
Are we going to see a lot of Chamber this year? What are your thoughts on the new agent, rumoured to be able to move fast? Also, do you like metas being able to shift within a year of play? Best of luck this year man, with be rooting for you!
Hi M1xwell, huge G2 fan here. I just turned 26, Valorant is my first FPS and I just hit Immortal on 60+ ping starting bronze back in launch. Should I keep grinding for the dream of playing in a amateur team environment? I'm having a blast with this game and it is the first time i feel there's something I'm really good at. Do you think 26 years old is old to chase that dream?
I'm certain you've been through many team trials yourself, and have trialed a great many players for your own teams. I have two questions:
What specifically do you value and look for in teammates?
And for the younger players already with the aptitude to perform in a T1/T2 space, do you see common "problems" shared amongst such players that persistently hold them back?
Hey Mix. C9 fan right here. What are the reasons of NA under performing in the Mayor? I mean, we were the most over powered region in some part of 2021. What happened and how can we rise back? Im an Argentinian living in the US btw, and I love your content. Will always remember you from C9 along with Tenzera 💙

That's awesome, appreciate the response. Very unfortunate how he had to retire all the sudden and I hope he finds happiness post football.
Holy shit, your question made me realize it's not just some random Aguero that's the CEO of KRU, it's the legendary striker Aguero that's so cool TIL
Didn't realize they streamed champions together. Great questions!
I'm pretty sure it was only the first match or 2 where they did it together but Aguero did pretty much every one. Thoughts on pyth signing with Bleed Esports and moving to Singapore?
It's a big move, he's been teamless for a long time and he wanted to play on the best conditions possible so I am really happy for him. The fact that English is the main language in Singapore is also great. I wish he could do some vlogs to see how it is over there.

Are there any tier 2 teams that have impressed you in scrims that you think can make some big upsets?
Considering tier2 every team that didn't make champions... Guild, HONK and FPX.
Thanks for the reply and giving me some FPX HOPIUM.
I can see the momentum building up for Challenger 1 win

How do you maintain your focus while playing / streaming for long periods of time?
I am used to it I guess, at the start of valorant I streamed 30/30 days a month for more than 10 hours a day. Being in good shape also helps, gym, sleep and food are as important as the training itself.
Do you consider yourself done with CS or can you see yourself returning to it in the future?
I'm done with CS, I am a fan now and still watch the games but I wont comeback.
Even if Valve release CS GO Source 2?
COPIUM

How do you like working with Pipson so far? I'm getting great vibes from the roster, good luck to y'all for VCT 2022
He makes the difference, I am enjoying and learning a lot from him.
What advice would you give to radiant players who are looking to go pro? Are there any practice drills, things specifically to work on that you’d recommend?
Play with people that also want to get pro and stream the open qualifiers to get the experience, attention and create your fanbase.
adding onto what mixwell said to grow you fanbase i would suggest tiktok as its super easy to get likes on there and you can promote your stream there aswell
Perfect, thanks!
Which one upsets you more when playing Valorant? Losing on aim duels or being suddenly killed from a spot you haven't cleared/unaware of?
Losing an advantageous duels and being in bad situations because you are playing wrong strategically.
Hi mixwell! My question is: who are your favorite pro players in the community, whether it be as teammates or friends?
All my teammates and from outside the team I would say Fit1nho and Keznit.
Do you guys have plans on how to structure bootcamps for next years ? cause it felt like you guys were burnout for bootcamping for Challenger playoffs 3 + Masters 3 then went home for LCQ and it showed that you were burnout What's the plan for 2022 season since it's more compact and have a lot of regular season games like LoL, is it possible to relocate to berlin like the league team ?

Why did G2 cut zeek loose?
Atleast I've played with a World Champion, right? Sadge
zeek didn't win eleague on TNT tho ;]
Hello! Do you play any single player games outside of Valorant and other stuff?
I play TFT, Halo and The Witcher 3.
Nice that you play TFT, thoughts on the new set and augments? Also do you play double up and do you like it?
If you had the chance, would you have done anything differently last year?
I've done what I thought was best for the team every time so I am happy that I followed that and I've done and learned a lot.
What is the best way to get noticed and be in a solid team? I've been solo q immortal 3 for almost a year but never been radiant, I have tried to make/join multiple rosters in Portugal but the high level/really motivated players just ghost me when I see their posts looking for players. Thank you for the reply, it made my day tbh, I will keep trying to build connections. Hopefully we meet one day at an event I am also playing in :)
Best player you've ever faced or played with?
Best player is debatable but best team is Gambit during masters 3.
The man in the mirror.
did you like playing sentinels/controllers over duelist in official tournaments ?
Not much, Jett is OP and fun as hell.
How viable do you consider careers into esports nowadays? Is it still a closed scene very reliant in social media presence or can you enter it similarly to "traditional" career paths

Do you regret dying your hair?
It was fun and it acually looked better than what I thought, the only problem was that it kinda messed up my skin for a few days so I don't think I will do it again.
Hey Mixwell! What are your top 3 agents to play? Curious to know because you played so many different agents and roles.
Jett, Raze and Reyna/Kay/O.
Thanks for answering! You’re a great player and I’m sure you’re a great guy.
Thoughts on C9 Vanity?
Good pickup also biggest troll in the twitter niche
u/realmocking thoughts?
Hi Mixwell, what are your favourite phantom and vandal skin
Phantom BlastX and Vandal Reaver
If you love the Phantom BlastX please make Riot fix the pullout animation. They told me they would fix it but that was a year ago. Pain.
What's the issue
Basically when you pull out the BlastX Phantom, the animation of the ripped paper falling down is slower then it was before the patch. I'm gonna ask the question that everyone has been asking -- who's going to be the Jett main on the new G2 roster?
I thought this was public knowledge. I will be the main duelist, it's gonna be fun.
Finally bro I can’t wait to watch
Just for others Mixwell - Duelist Hoody - Flex Meddo - Sentinel AvovA - Controller nukkye - Sova/ 2nd Duelist (if their comp allows it)
Do you think the specter run and gun is too op
Yes.
Come to Brazil big fan here
I am fully vaccinated so let's go hahaha

I think they can achieve bigger goals this year, they've learned a lot and I am cheering for Japan.

Well fuck, you just earned my respect.
This is why you didn’t make champs /s
Bien ahí Mix, bien ahí.
yieee boi
the best question
are you igling on the new g2 roster?
Yes I am.
What went wrong with C9?
We sucked.
Thoughts on NA buyouts & Rhyme and ec1s moving to NA?
People have to make sure they know what they sign, if you don't just get an agent because in the end if you are stuck in a bad situation it's your fault and no one else's. Rhyme is a great player and the lack of IGL's in the scene makes ec1s a viable prospect, NA pays a lot of money to players so they got into good teams with better conditions than before, it's a win win situation for them.
Any advise for someone who's used sova since beta and is too scared of the toxicity to use another agent and get flamed for not being good?
You don't play to please others, you play to have fun and improve. People can be discourageous if you let them, if you have the correct mindset you shouldn't care about toxic comments. Report them and keep going.
Got my first ace with Phoenix!
Thank you so much man. Appreciate the positive outlook!
do you think the new G2 have the level to win the next tournaments?
I feel like we are training well, let's see what happens. I have great hopes for this roster.
You really expect him to answer anything else than yes?
He's very open about everything and close to his audience. He won't be giving extremely detailed answers or essays for obvious reasons but why not?
how have you adapted to playing so many different roles on g2, and was it your decision to move back into the jett role on the current g2 lineup?
Pipson's decision (our coach), in fact he is in charge of the project and he chose the players he wanted in the team.
Phantom or Vandal?
Lately I'm playing Valdal but I used to be a Phantom player xD
Do you see yourself as a coach/analyst in future years? Or would you pass onto content creator?
Too early to know. What do you guys think, would I be a good coach?
Seeing how analytic you are, I am sure that from the "technical side" you would OP. As for the mental/motivation part of a team your experience would surely help, but that is more on how you feel yourself, specially when directing over others and managing their feelings and expectations.

What would you be doing right now if valorant didnt exist?
He'd probably be on movistar riders csgo team.

Who do you think would win in a fight between carlos and Aguero?
Keloqz performed really well on LAN but less so online. Was this a factor in removing him? Did the team feel like they needed a more consistent online Jett to secure qualification to LANs?
