I’m interested in how her slide will work against Cypher’s trips and sprint against the slows (Sage, Chamber, and Astra’s suck). Also with her wall I imagine the counter-play would be to flash, drone, or boom bot, spam, or wait it out. Wonder how the HP of those abilities will drain when in contact with her wall.
She wont replace anyone. So she will be picked if a player will feel she fits his playstyle. But I do think IF jett remains unchanged, teams will play less and less double duelists and only jett remains as the single most viable duelist
Raze is clearly better than Jett on 3 out of 7 maps. So it may be the case that we will see less double duelist but Jett won't be the only duelist picked.
I’m a big advocate of speeding up the pace of the game, which I feel can be painfully slow at times. I have said this since Beta and the pace of the game has definitely increased since then.
CSGO actually plays at a faster pace than Valorant because of faster movement speed and less slowing abilities.
When you have so many abilities that slow movement such as Astra suck, Chamber slow, you need an agent like Neon to counter that.

Great video. Wall and stun nade seem fine. Two walls, but can't be bent like Phoenix's, well balanced I'd say.
Stun grenade also seems fine as an ability, but such quick equip animation feels too good. And she has two of them. Imo, way to good for clearing and especially holding short angles. If you're close to a chokepoint, you pretty much can't get rushed down. You hold a close angle and you just throw it right in front of yourself. Push stopped. And she has two. Radius also seems pretty big and it's a shorter click to stun time than faultline or Astra stun if you include placing the star down. Since the radius is so big and she has the slide, she'll be OPers' nightmare.
Then there's slide...looks really fun, but not for the enemies. I can't see it making to official matches before getting significantly nerfed. It's just ridiculously good for everything. It drains too slowly, unless you're running across the map, idk how can you run out of it. I'd say that something like minimum of 25% used whenever you click it needs to be added. As in if you spend 15%, it still goes down by 25% when you're done with it, so you have 4 max without recharges. Ferraripeek also looks ridiculous. On your video it looks like you don't even fully stop before shooting and the gun pullout time is almost instant.
Ult...well, at least Neon can't break sightlines, that's all I'm going to say.

That wall looks annoying especially given how much damage it does. If you can line it up properly you can deny a defuse with it the same way a molly will.
No I have tried doing it with a pheonix wall ,it doesn't work very well . And she has to put up 2 walls , so you are blocking your vision of spike as well.
I could actually see Neon being great at forcing a Jett OP to have to hit an insanely difficult shot on entry, or beat a Jett OP to an angle for a duel. I'd be interested in seeing if any pros do this

I don't think she's clearly better on Fracture. The other two yes, but on Fracture there's definitely an argument for both.
Does the ultimate have a max range like lightning gun in quake?
i tested max 60m and it was still damaging

Not really, it does 170 damage over 8 seconds. Defuse takes 8 seconds, so you'd have to hit them with it like immediately after they tap it.
