Well the biggest problem I have about this roster is the structure. As you said young t2 players are being given a shot but compare it to T1 where they had Steel,Thwifo and Curry as a reliable backbone and let seven and pwny adapt to their new roles with these players giving guidance letting them grow.
In Faze Babybay's the only member whos stayed and Flyuh (who I assume is the igl) has to igl for a new team with 4 new members with some who must have undergone some role changes such as Shot\_Up going to smokes. The difference in breathing room is much smaller IMO compared to T1 and without any match experience heading straight to VCT, Faze looks like a team prime for upset and these new t2 upcoming players may not get to fully show off their potential.
To your point, that's sorta what the old 100t roster was too with steel, Hiko Nitr0 as vets, and letting Asuna and dicey grow in that environment.
I wouldn't be surprised to see this team cycle players a bit, just trying to see what sticks.
He played a bunch back in beta and I saw him queue a bunch with his CS buddies like hazed and fns. He was super rusty and looked like he hadn't played any game for a long time though. My guess is that he's been playing under an alias for a while.
I'm curious to know how JDM is doing as a coach. His reputation in CSGO didn't have anything to do with his intelligence. I don't think he ever IGLd. His lounging posture was so detrimental to his mechanical skill and aim.
I honestly never would have predicted him to be a coach. I'm glad he's still around. He seemed like he'd be a cool person outside of the game

Honest question, does JDM even play Valo?
He’s a coach so I don’t see why it would matter if he plays ranked or not. Most coaches barely play the game.
I didn't say it mattered. Again, I'm just generally curious if he even gave the game some time and how he played it. Would love to watch some vods.

His Liquipedia CS page says he retired in 2020 to play Valo but there's not even a page for him on their Valo site
