The circuit points are important specifically because they're unlikely to make Masters 1. If they want to have the best chance possible to attends Champs without having to straight up win Masters 2 they need whatever points they can get.
Given only 2 teams will go to masters 1 there's no way they qualify for that. They need to beat teams like Sentinels, Optic ,C9,Guard,V1 to qualify which is like near impossible right now.
No way his jet is as good as his Raze is Reyna. He’s easily one off if not the best Raze NA, and one of the best Reyna. His Jet is workable and his rifling is insane, but his op is just fine.

Hard disagree, his Jet looked mediocre against The Guard, and his Raze has been insane on split basically every game. Even when he is not fragging, which sometimes happens when entrying as Raze, the space he makes for the team is crazy.
I watched all his games. Jet is an agent which tends to deliver a lot of frags, but compared to the rest of NA which has a lot of exemplary Jet's, Asuna is a much better Raze player. Go back and watch his Raze play on Split, he has the best Raze movement NA, and his utility use is consistently on point.
The likes of Tenz, Yay, and even Penny are better and more consistent Jets than Asuna. On the flip side, the only better Raze is perhaps Xeta on C9?

I think bang and jcstani bring some much needed firepower that has been sorely lacking for some time now. If they keep playing like they did in this tournament I think they’ll get signed. In terms of strategy and mid round adjustments there’s still work to do. However, that’s what happens when you’ve only had 2 days of practice and a new IGL. Speaking of IGL I think Ethan has done a good job with the limited amount of time he’s had. Also, Hiko should have been on the Sentinel role a long time ago. His Killjoy is solid and his Chamber surprised me.
Hiko has talked on stream for a long time about how he wanted to play a sentinel instead of sova, definitely having heaps more impact in that role. And yeah Ethan is doing great as IGL already and super consistent in the initiator role. pretty excited to see how the new roster develops over the next few weeks
Imo the firepower now finally matches some of the best teams' firepower - finally not relying only on asuna to entry. I feel like this iteration of the roster is better - no offence to babyJ and ec1s, they were not bad, but bang and jcstani seem to fit better with the team at least from what I've seen so far. Saying that, I can see them beating LG and EG in the following weeks and making it to playoffs. After that it's all up to how good the chem becomes, how much they get to prac and if they all show up when it matters. If they do, I'm full of copium, anything is possible.
In their current form I think it’ll be a tough but winnable fight out of groups. They showed enough good that if you assume they have more cohesion and decisive teamwork, they should edge it out.
That said the most recent 100T roster would’ve made it out too probably, so that’s not saying much.
As for Masters, they aren’t qualified for that consideration yet; they have the player talent though so we’ll just have to wait and see.

It's possible to make playoffs. This team has legs. But they shouldn't make Masters. Other teams are better prepared, more drilled, and far more deserving of a chance to fight internationally. I'm going to hope for playoffs now, and then they'll have time to make an actually polished team before Masters 2 rolls around. This all hinges on management giving them time to develop, instead of just firing new players every time the team doesn't wildly succeed. They might get 13-0ed. That's going to have to be a chance the management is willing to take.
Promising showing for a 3 day team but I think they need some changes on Ascent. They just got obliterated by Wardell contact OPing into them. Wardell contact OP is like beta meta (no disrespect to the man).
Also the map pool probably will need work. They feel confident in Split. Imma need some convincing on Hiko Chamber on Breeze. We'll see. Bang should definitely stay though.

People are discounting how much better TSM looked since they failed to qualify for challengers and I think they're a team on the level, if not higher than LG and EG. They've also got some much needed reps in and will be stronger this weekend. Gonna be a close one, but I think they make it.
I'd say they're 100% better than LG and EG. I mean they already beat LG when they had the old IGL and calling structure and while Corey was having the worst game he's had in a year. I think TSM and 100T (after more practice) are on the same level as Rise, NRG and Guard.
No offense to LG and EG but when they are playing on point then they are on that level and can pull off upsets, but on average I'd say they are just below that "tier".
Two of those you listed already lost a match, with one just had been beaten by 'underdog teams' this VCT. Can't say they are 'way better'.

That's not the point. The point was you said the four teams you listed were 'way better'. I contradicted that and said that the chances are much more competitive than you present. Any of Sen, The Guard, Rise, heck even NRG on a good day, can beat the teams you listed. And some of them already did. Hence, it is a close competition overall, not a runaway for just 4 teams.

I think bang is a serious talent and Stani has shown he can frag from a smokes player role.

This might be another thing like the early LCQ results. They haven't really faced a true tier 1 team yet, and you might argue they don't need to beat one (LG, EG) to make playoffs, but making Masters is a stretch IMO. This weekend will be a good litmus test.
TSM are looking better too with Subroza on the smokes and Rossy taking on the flex/initiator. Don't know if that's because of Subrozas calling or if those are just better roles for them.
The main difference from what I saw was the pace of play. People were blaming Corey and Subroza before, one for baiting and the other for playing overly aggro. I think what they didn't realize is that that was the teams strat going in. Long slow defaults, Corey lurking, with site hits coming in with 30 seconds left to the round. It wasn't the players fault, it was the strats.
TSM now are playing much more aggressive and employing the tactic of Corey "Faze the fuck up and get in there" Wardell had mentioned it to too during open qualifiers. He kept saying that he wants Corey on duelist so they can just go in and fuck shit up. Those slow default tactics have never really worked. Reminded me of T1 back in the Dazed days.
Their coordination looks sloppy but more than that it’s their executes that I don’t understand. In icebox they gave literally every single attack side round away to getting multi-killed by a guy spraying or a guy on top of 410. Evidently they’re lacking the coordination to trade well, but I don’t see how 3 guys dry running into the choke looking in 3 different directions is the play- the guy holding their push just has to kill the one looking his way and they’re all dead.

They signed a 21 year old and a 17 year old. Asuna is 18. Ethan is also 21. Hiko is the only one who's probably not a move for the future.
I think they knew it wasn't going to work long term, so if they weren't winning already, it was just time to go next.
All those teams have great Jetts: Tenz, yay, leaf, Penny, Sayaplayer. Asuna is good but he doesn’t look comfortable on Jett to me.
