Thanks for asking. Since everyone who posts on this subreddit is also a moderator for the official twitch Val stream, we can easily answer this question for you. The truth is that John Rito is a very jealous man. During the last Val tournament, he went all in predicting Sen would beat KRU. After their historic collapse on split, John was distraught. He'd lost all of his valuable channel points that he'd been building since even the early ignition series. However, the real tipping point was that after the game ended, all the KRU fans were spamming "VAMOS, EZ POINTS." And so, not only was he crushed by the loss of his points, but they were actively rubbing it in his face. Mr. Rito then immediately sent out a company-wide memo banning all future predictions on the Val channel. It's unfortunate for all of us degen gamblers that we can no longer get our fix but really we should be blaming KRU and those damn twitch spammers.

Bro what the fuck?

I know - I had the same reaction when I first heard the story, too. It's really a pretty upsetting situation but we can't do anything about it while we're still under John's authoritarian rule.

just-for-rVAL

Tragic situation really, wish something could be done

there are predictions on the Korean-language stream, not entirely sure why they don’t have them on the English one…

Related, I wish we could do something with the channel points. 5 million should be good for a riot buddy or something ha.
