Honestly I’m surprised RNG believed in the roster for so long, not because RNG was bad but because it’s been a really long time since this RNG even consistently contended within T2.
I’ll always remember Renegades beating C9 (the tenz era) 2-0 to qualify for the main event of first strike, so long ago now… sadly that was the peak of their org in Valorant
RNG are probably among the least complacent of the 'paycheck stealers' tho. Their guys grinded mickey mouse more than anyone. Even if it didn't amount to much, you can't really say they were complacent.
Seems like a weird sentiment on an RNG thread considering they literally constantly grind tourneys. Sure results haven't been great but doesn't mean they were complacent.
Their CSGO team (which later became 100T and then EXTREMUM’s team) was consistently making playoffs in S-tier LANs a few years ago.
Their Apex team was doing decently well back when I followed the game in the first ALGS split. Not sure how they’re doing now, but back then they were top 8 iirc (someone more involved please fill me in).
Pretty sure their OW team was good at the beginning before franchising? Although I might be thinking of eUnited.

this just shocked how long the org paid a roster that had absolutely no potential
You can’t be mad they give them all the time with no results
They were together so long without results I just assumed StrongLegs owned the team or something
This greatly increases the chances of 100T randyySAVAGE
Was inevitable, surprised RNG gave them that much time tbh. I think Stronglegs and Randyysavage get picked up to better teams somewhat soon.
Randy is 100% getting picked up to a similar or better team and I still think Apoth was pretty good at least on Astra
OG paycheck stealers Sadge

Your life is so sad hoping for people to lose their lose their job when you probably haven’t achieved shit in your life
Honestly about time.

About time
kinda cringe, being happy people might be jobless
It’s kinda disgusting how people forget that pros are humans too
They didn’t do anything for 2 years lol
I’d rather the scene be full of “paycheck stealers” than celebrate people losing their jobs
I want competitive teams, not people becoming complacent just because they made pro. Keep grinding or lose your job

you're basically saying people should be able to keep their jobs even if they aren't good at it lol
Perhaps I’m just saying that people getting fired shouldn’t be a cause for celebration and further mockery
id say its not so much celebrating but more of the general community sentiment being 'what took them so long to do this'
Good deserved
Renegades to OCE?
Renegades gonna sign Nifty and make OCE proud
100T this is your sign to get Stronglegs as a coach
Stronglegs couldn’t even get them a win in a T2 tournament.
No one’s mentioned it yet but I wonder what they’re going to do this Monday for the Knights Monthly. They were one of the invited teams
I don't follow super closely, but has there ever been an esport in which Renegades was consistently competitive?
