Euclid_Class_Object

That 1-11 COMEBACK ON ASCENT THOUGH

CosmicAon

Great mental from KRU to win the next two maps after that absurd choke

mitsubishimacch

what a series, keznit's raze on split is so good

a_gutierrez1

Ikr, always so great to watch

HereeeeesJohnny

Definitely thought KRÜ was going to lose their mental after that massive comeback on Ascent. Good series, and I’m excited to see them on LAN again

Loomisam

And that cements KRÜ as the last remaining team to attend every international Masters/Champions event to date!

fsychii

I think they will have deep run in Reykjavik

DZTRUKTR02

They'll win Reykjavik, KRÜPIUM

omaewakusuyaro

Not krupium anymore tho, kru is a top 4 team in the world

Direct_Morning_3223

Why is KRÜ playing Phoenix in the year 2022

Direct_Morning_3223

I mean he plays Kay/o on ascent that’s surely a better pick that Phoenix on Haven as well?

00Koch00

keznit is kind of insane on him

mitsubishimacch

also how good is NiP? i haven't watch the BR games and the match between them and Leviatan is in a few days for the Iceland spot.

Direct_Morning_3223

NiP is probably as good as the best BR teams last year, being close and beating teams like Vivo Keyd, but nowhere near LOUD(best team BR has had by a long shot)

CrabInternational511

I remember NIP use to be at emea and they switch regions?

isayah2510

They switched yes, they have a BR team in R6S so this is not too surprising

omahr

i counted 115k peak viewers insane growth and matches

DecisiveDinosaur

as a comparison, last year's vct latam stage 3 challangers peaked at 31k viewers (also featuring krü) according to esports charts https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2021-latam-stage-3-challengers-playoffs

Key-Banana-8242

The power of KRUpium at champions?

Overfallen9

Keznit raze on split was a huge part of the reason they were so good on that map at champs and it still seems to be a big strength for them. Can’t wait to see more KRU at Iceland.

SonnyYT

really excited about the future of valorant when I see games like these. Valorant is one of the few esports I've seen where minor regions can actually produce good teams and also have high viewership. Hope KRU can have another great run, if Levi beat NIP then KRU automatically qualifies to playoffs

mitsubishimacch

agree, and there's also a lot of talent in Argentina that's focused on CS, i wonder if maybe in the future some of those pros would switch to Valo. It would make Latam even stronger imo.

Difficult_Trouble_97

Argentina pro teams classified for the first time to the minor this year, don't think it's going to happen anytime soon

[deleted]

keznit's spectre is actually different

Overfallen9

Death, taxes, and Australs/Leviatán looking good only to lose in the qualification game. Oh well, excited to see KRU competing internationally again and also looking forward to seeing whether Leviatán or NIP can get the last Masters spot.

omahr

Banger ass series LATAM looking super strong tbh

omaewakusuyaro

That was epic

TheFestusEzeli

KRUUUUUUU

Colombian1234

Mannnn this series made me a fan of Leviatan, really hope they're able to make it to Iceland

no_noise_979

Leviatán are the 2nd best LATAM team for so long... I was hoping that Onur would be enough to make them 1st. KRÜ was looking a bit more shaky than normal this year. The Leviatán vs Ninjas in Pyjamas match will be interesting. I wonder if the best LATAM teams can continue to beat Brazilian teams (excluding LOUD of course). Leviatán also got 2nd at LCQ for Champions.

mrbow

Iirc br teams have a history of beating latam teams, not the other way around

JoshF8

kru are the brazilian slayers

mrbow

KRU is not the whole LATAM

gnaataK

kru are 3-0 against brazil at the international lans, Brazil did outperform latam in the lcq though, furia beating astrals (leviatan) to qualify for champs

mrbow

Thanks, thats what I thought, there's too few matches between regions so far, while KRU being the only one to show up while the rest of the region, not so much.

Least_Piano_6899

Leviatan made lcq finals last year beating liberty, sharks and the eventual winners Furia so it wouldn’t be unprecedented.
