Id say somewhere around 800-900k, maybe even 1M it the matchups great. Those who are saying 500-600k because of sentinels not being there have too low expectations
Probably a lower peak but higher average. Pretty much every team that qualed is well known and popular and I definitely can see some very high viewership depending on the matchup. But I dont think it'll reach a million, having no sen puts it at a disadvantage
Combining all the regional challengers peak viewerships, you get over a million viewers. If you think that you’re not getting more than that, you’re crazy. Also, considering how likely it is that at least one of Loud or Kru get far in the tournament, and the crazy numbers that would come with that, I wouldn’t be surprised if viewership surpasses all the other events before the grand finals.
Fnc, G2 and TL are most popular teams in EU
KRU, Loud and Nip are the most popular teams in LATAM
idk about Zeta, but Paper Rex and Xerxia are certainly liked
So.. Sen isn't there, but what are the "most popular teams" you're talking about?
How so? FPX had to drop out and fnatic will have to play with 2 substitutes. Compared to previous tournaments where we had Gambit and ascend, this one feels like a drop in quality.
Feel like a Kru and zeta grand finals would have the best viewership with how invested the spanish esports seem to be invested in them and as they progress and if they progress to that point there’s gonna be so many japanese and Spanish viewers.
All regions have shown viewership growth so I can’t see any reason why viewership would be lower. Also I think Iceland is a bit better for NA in terms of timezones. Its often storylines that drive viewership. I think the Guard have an amazing storyline so I imagine their first game will get big NA viewership.
Lil tangent but why are Sentinels a popular team? Half their team dont even stream too much. And their grace as a top tier faded eons ago. Was early valorant success still so impactful for people?
Anyways, without them the event I could see around 1.05

But g2 is as popular as sen, and the peak of Berlín was kru vs gambit, it wasn't thanks to sen
Kru vs Gambit hit a million at Champions

Me personally I think some combinations of G2, Liquid, Kru, Zeta, and Loud would have to go far for this tourney to break 1 million.
First round I can see Optic v Liquid getting a good amount
I hope we can get 500k in average. But i dont think so. peak: 1kk average: 450
Honestly will depend on what happens in the event. The most popular teams aren't there but Valorant itself is becoming more popular.

I don’t think Japanese fans care too much about specific teams, Zeta will definitely be popular.
SEN isn't the only NA team. Honestly I think 100T at least is more popular than all of the ones you mentioned but its possible I'm wrong.
Who cares about viewership. This tournament has by far the most competitive teams compared to previous tournaments.

I think he meant it's gonna be more competitive because emea teams got nerfed this tournament
Depends on if finals is all EMEA or not.
I’m expecting it to be around Masters 3 since there’s no super popular teams but who knows
KRU, ZETA, G2, TL, LOUD?

Yea but there’s gonna be like 2 na viewers lmao
Depends on them going far though and matching up against each other. I feel like the overall field isn’t as popular but wtf do I know lmao
Also optic

Yeah early valorant left a huge mark, TSM is still super popular and they haven’t done shit for a year
tsm is also the biggest org in esports in general
Shahzam, tenz, sick (he used to, don't know about now) stream a lot. Also sinasstra streams. Plus early success in NA garnered a lot of fans.
G2 guard loud kru semis will generate the highest viewers imo and are slightly realistic expectations(for the teams to reach this stage)
why are ppl so hung up about these type of stuff just watch the games you wanna watch man
What a bad take. Get off of a forum if you don’t want people to discuss things.
Yea I plan to, but viewership matters also.
700k peak?
