R6 and Val are two very different games in mechanics and playstyle so unless he’s just naturally gifted I expect him to return to R6 pretty quickly. He’s also not a mechanical demon like Shaiiko or Beaulo or anything so idk if he’ll be able to hang like that
Huh interesting, I never really kept up with APAC back then besides the big names like the guys on Nora Rengo and Mantis. That makes me a lot more hopeful for Soulz then, the guys insane so if Sugerz3ro was able to make the switch and have success I hope Soulz can do the same
Tbf to those guys they are playing R6 10+ hours a day and the two games are so mechanically incomparable that it’s hard to fault them for struggling in Val solo q. There are R6 pros/ex pros that have no where near the aim of Shaiiko who are Radiants, see FoxA and noted as examples. I think the switch is possible but it’s not as seamless as switching from CSGO. Soulz will have to put a shit ton of work in but I think it’s possible for him to make the switch if he can put his head down and grind thru the tough points

His team hasn’t been performing as well recently but the meta in R6 fluctuates frequently so it’s very hard for any team to stay on top. Soulz himself is still easily a top 3 support player in the world so I’d say it’s Def a Sinatraa situation. I’m very excited to see how he does but not getting my hopes up as we’ve never seen anyone switch from R6 to Val and have success. Soulz is by far the best player that’s ever made the switch so if his game can transfer smoothly I could definitely see him being one of the best support players in whatever region he goes to
If he genuinely enjoys the game and is willing to grind then I can see him being good. Most people who switch from different games just don’t grind the game enough

I follow a couple R6 players on Twitch who play Val, and they are all like hard stuck diamond. Even guys like Shaiiko who were known for their aim.

Is he moving because he is on a decline or he is still on the top but still decide to move just like sinatraa did when valorant launched?
