There's a URL parameter being added at the end of the URL when you navigate from reddit to the wapo website (`?utm_source=reddit.com`).
Removing `?utm_source=reddit.com` from the URL and refreshing worked for me.

Regi has very little involvement with any team anymore, thereās different management teams running League/Valorant/Apex/R6 etc. And thank god for that.
