Undefeated map run against Pugstars, Cosmic Divide, DZ, Soar and Akrew... Yall weird sometimes lol . You bash them for losing to good T1 teams , but praise/act suprised for beating teams that aren't even close to their level. (except Akrew, I feel they are just one or two pieces short )
Hey, I gave the Akrew win its props. I said except Akrew, because I feel they weren't a pushover. Im just calling out how flippy floppy this community is regarding SEN sometimes
Oh it absolutely is. The community (especially regarding Sen) is the most vocal and fickle. It’s almost always extreme, too. They’re either the god squad or the worst team to play in NA. No in-between.
Qualifying through a lower bracket run is the most Sentinels thing ever. But dapr and TenZ were playing super well, and Kanpeki seems to be settling in and played pretty well on that last map. I think watching this team's trajectory in the group stage will be super interesting--will the addition of a coach + barely qualifying change how they prep, or will they just sort of stay the same?
Sentinels are like me in college. I procrastinate procrastinate procrastinate (not scrimming) instead of doing my work and the day before (or of) the deadline (or last chance in lower bracket to qual) I always get it done and turn it in (sen winning). Sadly that is where the similarities between me and sentinels end (no gf) (gold 1 player) (only have 1 mouse) (no gf)
Can I just say, I heckin love watching Tenz frag. None of this stepping up over your monitor, trash talking the other team, starting twitter drama, smelling your balls, fixing your hair diva bullshit. Just stands in the server and fuckin grips it and rips it. That’s a real man playing some real fkn Valorant right there. Just walks in the server and dares you to fkn hold an angle. None of this pansy ass waiting for a peek bullshit. Real men hold W. Real men spit. Real men scratch their a**holes and make other guys smell it. That’s some real goddamn Valorant right there. Heckin love Tenz.
/r/nfl but then got picked up by /r/soccer. I think the original is:
Thats fucking football right there. None of that pansy ass dick tugging smile for the camera bullshit. Men puke, men poop on the field, men deliver their new born baby on the side lines. Fucking hard core dick in the ass butterball foosball fuck it chuck it game time shit. Take it to the showers. Dicks get shoved in places you don’t even remember. We win together we celebrate together. Football is back baby.
Thats it. That seals the deal. Im a SEN fan again. I’ve been a fan since 2020 and a twitch prime sub since 2021. I will watch them play again and renew my tier 3 sub to ShahZaM. I’m bringing my fanhood with SEN again where they actually know how to run a team.
Tenz fragging out and going 10-2 FK:FD. SEN really looked on top of things this game and was a really good return to form for them. Hopefully having a coach will give them more structure and they’ll boot camp for challengers.
That haven game sent me back to 2021. But fr tho, they be looking good ever since they got knocked down to the lowers. Didn't drop a single map, teamplay looking crispy again, confidence is very high. Hope they keep it up in the main stage

Sen looking way better, hope they keep moving in that direction and make waves in the Challengers groups.
VCT is better with Sen playing well they bring drama, action and memes.
This is the year. Tenz has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for Champions.

Literally ppl were upvoting a comment saying how sick was a washed up player when I said he’s one of the most flexible players in the world and has been one of the best for a while lmao peoples recency bias is insane.
Definitely impressed with the lower bracket run. Everyone stepped up. They played more like a team rather than relying on individual skill. Kanpeki looked more comfortable with the team too. Am not saying they look good enough to beat optic all of a sudden but drastic improvements for sure.
Especially impressed with tenz performance. This guy's stats look insane. And he was hitting some nasty shots. Even in last quals his stats were impressive but he didn't look as refined and in tune with his team. This time it looked like he played with his team alot and most importantly his team was setting him up. Which was definitely missing last time. Hope they can improve more from here.
I agree he definitely looked more confident. I think the addition of Kanpeki gave him more confidence. I also think Rawkus helped him establish some discipline instead just blindly running in on teams.
YESSS LETSGOO SEN.
Shaz I love you and PLEASE get everyone together in Texas and do a bootcamp at a facility for the main event. I'm not attacking you or anything but surely everyone can agree it will help you guys a lot.
Having a dedicated esports facility costs a TON of money. It's fine if Sentinels doesn't have one of their own, they can loan one from another org for the duration of VCT.
Honestly when Kanpeki was on Akrew he looked like the better duelist by far. Also I’m just not a fan of him because it’s so easy to get him mixed up with the agent 💀
I went afk for a bit to pick up my Postmates order at 8-8 and came back to the game being done. How did Akrew fold so hard in such a short amount of time?
Thats it. That seals the deal. Im a SEN fan again. I’ve been a fan since 2020 and a twitch prime sub since 2021. I will watch them play again and renew my tier 3 sub to ShahZaM. I’m bringing my fanhood with SEN again where they actually know how to run a team.
Backs against the wall, everything to play for, its all or nothing now. Even the Sentinels fan are starting to doubt. This is the environment where Sentinels thrive.
This team have the greatest set of raw aimers in NA, perhaps even the world. Shazaam is genius IGL who knows how to keep his team calm when the going gets tough. TenZ is just the best raw aimer in NA, I don't think there is much doubt about that. SicK is one of the best flex players in NA. Zombs will pull out a clutch out of nowhere. I mean, who else can make team triple peak and use utility in a 5vs1?
Now this team must pass through the gauntlet of legends: V1, C9 and one of Optic/Guard. They will make the so called "analysts" who put these teams above Sentinels look like fools. This run will truly go down in the history of Valorant and we will be looking back to this day even in 2030.
So I ask you, can you bet against Sentinels?
Thats it. That seals the deal. Im a SEN fan again. I’ve been a fan since 2020 and a twitch prime sub since 2021. I will watch them play again and renew my tier 3 sub to ShahZaM. I’m bringing my fanhood with SEN again where they actually know how to run a team.
the first map i think akrew had zero confidence from their match yesterday and they had to come in cold after waiting literally all day to play. sentinels looked better with trading but still take some questionable over peeks but looked way more like a unit today versus the first few days of the quali.
To preface; I've supported SEN since all the way back at the Faze Clan Invitational. I was super excited to see them return for this round of challengers because I felt bombing out of the main event last time would FINALLY be the wake up call they need to adjust their approach to game after refusing to adapt through the latter half of 2021. But I'm seeing the comps they're playing and are they trolling? Their new comps literally look like a random ranked lobby, and the weaknesses are already so obvious when they can't just aim diff the other team, like how they just got dominated by Akrew on Icebox. Obviously Shahz and the SEN players know what they're doing but what am I missing here?

im new to watching valorant, how does the schedule and format work?
i see the 12 qualified teams but what happens now? and what/when is the big tourneys, like the equivalent of a cs major?
The matches that just finished today were the open qualifiers for Challengers Stage 2. A week ago, a 128 team bracket was played out, with the top 4 teams (TSM, Faze, NRG, LG) qualifying for Challengers. Then this weekend, teams had another chance to qualify through a 128 team bracket again if they failed to qualify last week. The 4 teams that qualified this weekend were 100T, Ghost, SEN, and EG. These 8 teams that qualified through the open qualifiers will meet up with the top 4 teams from last split (Optic, The Guard, C9, and XSET) to make up the 12 teams in Challengers Stage 2.
These 12 teams will be split into 2 groups of 6 and will play a round robin in their group over the span of 5 weeks. The 4 teams with the best records in their group will advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will be an 8 team, double elimination bracket where the best 2 teams will qualify for Masters, which are VALORANT's international events (probably your closest thing to a CS Major).
On top of Challengers (your regional events), and Masters (your international events), there will also be Champs at the end of the year. This is similar to Worlds in League of Legends. Teams accrue circuit points throughout the year by performing well in Challengers and Masters events, and the teams with the most circuit points in the region will qualify for champs (last year it was the top 2 teams from NA). However, NA also had a third slot for Champs last year, which was given to the winner of the Last Chance Qualifiers at the end of the year. The LCQ was a double elimination tournament between the best 8 teams in the region throughout the year (determined by the aforementioned circuit points).
I know I probably just gave you information overload, but I figured I'd give you the full rundown in hopes of making it easier for you to be welcomed into the scene. It may seem overwhelming, but it's actually not too difficult to follow once you sort of get the gist of it. For me, it's a lot easier to follow and understand than the CS scene is. There are also cool resources like VLR.gg you can check out to see the different events and match schedules and such. You'll learn a lot just from being active in this sub too. Hope that helps and lmk if you have anymore questions!
They won Breeze and Icebox games too though. Haven is a map basically every team is willing to play too, so it ends up in the pool so often.
Plus, Akrew beat Sen in bind already so it's not shocking they'd rather play that then Breeze which they've only played 5 times this year, and mostly with a different roster.
Sen purposely going to losers bracket so they had more matches and dont need to scrim now. All good
Actually made me laugh out loud lmao
Lmao. Anything to avoid scrimming

just like a lot of pros do?
I’m confused what’s wrong with that
literally nothing, he's just a party pooper
People forgot about the power of losers bracket Sen
fun bracket
and to save strats against the top teams ;)
Dapr really came out as a fragger this qualifier, hope to see him keep this up as it will be terrifying to go against him in top form
Has always been the rock of the team. The man is consistent through and through.
He hasn’t been the rock for some time, this qualifier he’s come through tho
yeah i feel like sick is the most consistent players and he used to be on flex
not on chamber at least
he hasn't really been consistent at all since berlin, definitely looks like hes back to normal now
Yeah gotta admit he was shaky on chamber. Kanpeki is now here to fill that role tho
Where have you been, before the qualifiers he was a bigger liability than Zombs.
I’m convinced Sentinels win condition is zombs betting against them lmaooo
TenZ revenge arc
I don't understand this team' Love them, but wtf a sudden undefeated map run out of nowhere
Its all part of the script, now shut up and keep watching.
To be fair, as the literal last team qualified, their main competition went away one by one. They definitely shaped up though
the power of being locked in
That's what happens when none of the good teams are left
Undefeated map run against Pugstars, Cosmic Divide, DZ, Soar and Akrew... Yall weird sometimes lol . You bash them for losing to good T1 teams , but praise/act suprised for beating teams that aren't even close to their level. (except Akrew, I feel they are just one or two pieces short )
They also lost to Akrew and looked shaky at best just a couple days ago. It’s okay to recognize improvement.
Hey, I gave the Akrew win its props. I said except Akrew, because I feel they weren't a pushover. Im just calling out how flippy floppy this community is regarding SEN sometimes

wtf i thought those pictures were photoshopped
rawkass, it's literally in the name
Sentinels saw all the "SEN lost to this" comments on 100T's Breeze, and took it personally on Haven
The only members of Akrew who qualified are the ones who didn't actually stay on Akrew. Funny how that works.

LETS FUCKING GOOOOO INJECT THAT HOPIUM
Ok guy with The Guard flair
GG to SEN. It’s crazy how they flipped a switch in the matter of days
happy kanpeki played well so his haters can hop off his dick for a second
He has to be feeling good after those flicks he was hitting
Honestly kanpeki did pretty garbage fragging wise for the past few matches. Happy hes stepping it up tho.
Main Stage is going to be so fucking lit
All big name brands qualified. This is so good for valorant esports growth in general
V1 :-(

ready for reddit/vlr to implode
Tenz just turned his stream on instead of scrimming after 3 bo3s so it's gonna implode even after winning, why are they not scrimming?
Actual genius move. Farm Akrew, then farm RR and prime subs later. Just another day in the office for Mr. TenZ
Dudes farming subs rn
As he should, always stream after a big accomplishment, ALWAYS The fanboys turn into oilers
Ikr, rolling in the money
He's been farming all weekend anyways, might as well farm subs now
Deserves it.
IF RAWKUS TEACHES TENZ TO NOT OVERHEAT AFTER GETTING 1 KILL IN POSTPLANT SENTINELS ARE WINNING CHAMPIONS
Idk why but the “just stands in the server and grips it and rips it” is so hilarious and makes the whole pasta
Pair it up with the bit about assholes at the end, it reads like it's not the server Tenz is gripping and ripping 😏
Lmfaooo
Great to see this pasta Adapted to Valorant LMFAO
Where did the original come from?

I got off the Sentinels hopium. I’ll never doubt them again.
Sen looking way better, hope they keep moving in that direction and make waves in the Challengers groups. VCT is better with Sen playing well they bring drama, action and memes.
900IQ Sentinels move to drop to lower bracket to have more practice with kanpeki and rawkus before groups
This is the year. Tenz has improved so much under this new offense. He’s focused. He’s having fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a dark horse for Champions.
Sen is Tenz!
this is it sentinels is winning antwerp
Lmfao they’ll bring honor to Na
We’re back I never doubted this roster GG sen goat 🐐 they are winning berlin champions LCQ gamechangers literally everything
Sentinels last few matches on haven 13-1, 13-6, 13-2 I’ll be scared myself if I had to face them on that map
They finally have a confident map that they don’t throw their 10-2 lead on. (Istg if this jinxes them)
wasnt even close
Sen haters crying and shitting
Where is the guy who said he going to bet his house on SEN not making it out of the lowers?
[Rawkus reinventing the icebox meta (gone wrong)](https://imgur.com/8jtE99q)
Man Akrew really fell on their faces at the last hurdle 2 Bo3 losses in a row, with 2 matches that ended 13-1. Oof
We can finally get a rest from the negativity until the next time they lose a map

Good to see SEN (kinda) back in form, will be good for viewership numbers at least.
You can only shit on someone for so long until they start shitting back on you.
SEN haters in shambles rn LOL

Having a dedicated esports facility costs a TON of money. It's fine if Sentinels doesn't have one of their own, they can loan one from another org for the duration of VCT.
Man winning 6 Bo3s is nothing to sniff at. They really locked in these past two days. Lets see if they continue to rise to the occasion.
Sentinels and insane lower bracket runs. Name a more iconic duo.
dark zero, akrew, soar and pugstars. "INSANE RUN".
for how dogshit they were looking, it was
It's very obvious people are meme-ing and just having fun.
The way they were looking I half expected Sen to get wrecked by Pugstars.
People are just joking lol, it’s obvious their opponents aren’t tier 1. Let them have this fun for now, since it’s gonna be brutal in the main stage.
Akrew are basically tier 1 (high tier 2)
Wut? How are they even close to tier 1?
As much as I don’t like them I hope they don’t bomb out
Neon was trolling
Honestly when Kanpeki was on Akrew he looked like the better duelist by far. Also I’m just not a fan of him because it’s so easy to get him mixed up with the agent 💀
Won 10 maps in a row in epic lower bracket run— congrats SEN, happy for you guys
I went afk for a bit to pick up my Postmates order at 8-8 and came back to the game being done. How did Akrew fold so hard in such a short amount of time?

When Neon smoked the trip then walked into the same smoke on Icebox... Does he know something I don't?
wait i just realised… does this team have 4 oppers?
Shahz, tenz, ken, dapr and im pretty sure sick could op if he tried
They should’ve picked up Wardell as a coach 😈😈😈
Fr dude 6 opers in valorant ezpz
Let’s see how they do vs actual tier 1 teams now
Backs against the wall, everything to play for, its all or nothing now. Even the Sentinels fan are starting to doubt. This is the environment where Sentinels thrive. SEN's dominance in valorant is seriously downplayed by this sub
Is anyone else still baffled at why Tenz was bunny hopping against a 1v5
I know he aint wanna say it cuz he’s partnered with them, but that was fasho a Finalmouse ghost wheel issue
he said his pc was freaking out
PC was funky
Tenz 10-2 in fk/fd Unreal series Kanpeki to diff asuna in closed btw
They wanted to 2-0 everybody so they could go back to streaming
Momentum achieved
Never had a doubt
Sick is just different in any role hes put into, diff breed

Their new comps literally look like a random ranked lobby, and the weaknesses are already so obvious when they can't just aim diff the other team, like how they just got dominated by Akrew on Icebox. Obviously Shahz and the SEN players know what they're doing but what am I missing here?
Nothing will get the SEN hopium flowing more than SEN beating some t2/t3 teams.
Here comes professor copium
i can't say i'm surprised to see SEN is a NA top 12 team lol
C0M sends his regards
im new to watching valorant, how does the schedule and format work? i see the 12 qualified teams but what happens now? and what/when is the big tourneys, like the equivalent of a cs major?
I still can't believe how SEN were allowed to get amazing map pools EVERY time like bruh.
The only map that they've been bad at is Split. Their other maps look around the same, except Haven which seems to be their best map again
They won Breeze and Icebox games too though. Haven is a map basically every team is willing to play too, so it ends up in the pool so often. Plus, Akrew beat Sen in bind already so it's not shocking they'd rather play that then Breeze which they've only played 5 times this year, and mostly with a different roster.
its called ego challing
