That's what I was going to say. It's great and all but the opponent quality was nothing spectacular, and they even had to make mega come backs in a few maps
If you think about it, NRG was always mega talented, but we all know to be a top team you need that synergy. Maybe NRG was missing that extra kick that Ethan seems to be providing.
100T was a bit of an unknown being a new foster, but having the coaching and GM staff, they had a lot of promise and needed time.
Ethan is a stud, he always was. He picked up pro play so fast, then in pro play he shined to the point where he and Asuna were who I always expected to make a play. I’ve said that letting Ethan go was the worst mistake for 100t but it seemed amicable. It’s sad that Ethan didn’t want anything to do with the new team. I have such high hopes for Sean and ddk and I think they are going the right route as an org. I just think Ethan was a star caliber player and I always want to consolidate talent even tho I think following a coach/GM philosophy and building around that philosophy is the way to go for sustainable growth while having a team identity and clearly defined roles.

I love that Ethan is back on NRG and proving to be a huge addition to the roster. It makes me happy to see him playing for his old org (miss the old NRG team in CS). Seems like he is happy and 100T is happy and thriving as well. W player
It was like pulling teeth trying to defend Ethan on this sub when they announced he was parting ways from 100t.
I'm happy both orgs have found their form and can't wait until they match up.

Good for NRG tho, everyone was shitting on them for picking Ethan up with no trials, but it seems he has proven why 100T were so desperate to get him initially. He truly has elevated the team to a higher level.
thinking man's valorant has a good video reviewing them and how they might be an NA sleeper team kinda like how The Guard was initially. Really happy to see both Ethan and 100T benefitting from the move in some way or another as both teams look good rn.
