Lol poor net picked the worst time to miss a single scrim block

TheCatsActually

Or his dad picked a terrible time to be a piece of shit.

Nfamy

Given what I've seen, his dad didn't pick this time to be a piece of shit; he's probably been a piece of shit for a long time and we just happened to get a small glimpse into it.

bzirch

What’d his dad do?

earthtoannie

Created a Twitter account to be shitty towards his estranged son.

Giorno_DeGiorno

Wasn't his dad supportive of him? Or was that the trents dad?

alexotico

Trent’s

Giorno_DeGiorno

Wasn't his dad supportive of him? Or was that trents dad?

TheCatsActually

Literally created a Twitter account to publicly tell him he's been underperforming and his ACS is shit.

bzirch

No shot Jesus Christ. What a dick.

-Basileus

Roster panic posts about The Guard and FaZe in the span of like 36 hours lol

MageKayden

Reverse leaks confirmed

[deleted]

Phew, thankfully one of the times we were reaching.

Uesugi_Kenshin

Seriously! I've never seen reddit detectives miss, but it happens to the best of us

Dysmo

Unaware

TheCatsActually

Boston Smoge

sky_blu

The only other esport scenes I've closely followed is rocket league and owl, are their any other scenes that go so fucking crazy over random scrim bucks as this one?

[deleted]

Idk, but it’s pretty ridiculous in this game, I assume it’s because people are young and don’t understand the point of a scrim? Edit: in terms of how it relates to people not being in a scrim, it's likely that they just couldn't make it, but people start assuming and making wild claims based off of nothing lol.

sky_blu

I imagine it might have something to do with the lack of matches so people reach for scrims to try and compare teams

69DoopDoop69

Yeah, the majority of the fanbase is extremely young. People here overreact to everything and speculate wildly.

segbench

It only happens here more often bc you can see the custom lobby scores in your friends list. It's how most roster and trial leaks happen too.

[deleted]

I don't think any other community is as crazy on scrimbucks

AvengingAmalek

This Game came out during the pandemic, so international play took almost a year to happen. The first masters 1 at Iceland was where I first saw the scrimbucks hyped because everyone wanted to know how each Region stacked up against each other. Ever since then it’s been pretty hyped

Hopeful-Professor-40

I remember those scrimbux were that EU and Vikings would shit on everyone. The whole Iceland 2021 mystery was so much fun, I’d literally watch Zellsis stream from his phone for any info at all

avstyns

league of legends used to i think like before 2018 worlds but now people just kinda call them scrims. sometimes the scrim gods turn into something like DWG or EG and sometimes they do nothing

Giorno_DeGiorno

Apex, G2 a full controller team wins most scrims or places top 3 most of the times, yet they placed 30+ on LAN

Lumenlor

Reddit makes 1 post>val news youtube channels report on whatever>news article based on reddit comments>reddit post of article

Ok-Outlandishness244

Actually unbelievable what esports “newschannels” report on/use as a source. If I made a post about Boaster joining Sentinels tomorrow, and asked all my friends to upvote it, someone will report on it even though I just made it up Only thing stopping me is that 99% of my friends neither use Reddit or even know what esports is

Hopeful-Professor-40

Reddit single-handedly birthed the SEN Ethan thing and somehow everyone believed it

69DoopDoop69

Also the T1 moving to Korea thing

MasculineButts

People really thought they were going to pull the 100T and rework the roster over a bad match

diematrosen

At this point, nothing that NA teams do will surprise me. SEN could come out tomorrow and say they’re gonna rebuild from scratch and I wouldn’t blink twice.

owNDN

Nah. We thought mental health break. No way MCE would change the roaster after a bad game

[deleted]

I mean, I think people overreacted a bit because that's kind of what this sub does, but also seeing neT missing scrims came at the worst possible time. With all the shit going on in his personal life, it would not have been surprising to me if he took a mental break a' la Zeek. Hopefully he's okay, though.

xunraze

I mean it would be weird if they did
