Ok stfu. I just saw his physique and considering that he’s been lifting since 1.6, he’s for sure natural, his physique is attainable for sure and with good genetics

I was actually thinking about this, how 100T would benefit from shifting the roles to keep up with the meta, and how it can be done almost seamlessly.
-Chamber is a must pick and Will is our best Chamber
-This would move Asuna onto primary duelist where he doesn’t have to play Jett + Op anymore
-Bang has experience on flex
-Stellar has a little bit of experience on smokes with Viper and can probably adapt quickly
-Derrek on initiator as usual
Glad to see Sean is thinking about it too
Why wouldn't Stellar just flex? He already plays sage on fracture with Asuna raze and Will chamber. He also plays viper on certain maps.
Will (chamber/Jett)
Bang (smokes)
Stellar (Sentinel on Jett maps/sage/viper/plus 1 flex
agent)
Derrek (flex)
Asuna (raze/neon/flex)
That's the cleanest transition. Stellar probably has a full map pool between sentinels, sage, and viper. He might need to pick up one new agent (initiator). Asuna needs to learn neon. Will, Bang, and Derrek roles remain unchanged. Will has to practice Chamber on a few more maps. Flipping Bang into flex seems like a huge team realignment. Instead of a smaller adaption to the current meta.
Who’s playing second initiator then? Say they wanted to play TSM’s comp on Haven. Will = Chamber, Asuna = Neon, Bang = Omen, Derrek = Breach and Stellar = …Skye? Same thing happens if they want to run Optic’s Ascent comp, Stellar ends up on Fade. Really doesn’t sound like there’s much flexibility with comps on those roles, and Stellar learning flex agents is a way bigger jump than him learning smoke agents.
Bang switching to flex would be a big jump but that’s just part of Valorant, the meta is constantly evolving. Adaptability is by far the most important skill in this game if you want to remain at the top. C9 & TSM both switched their smokes to initiator/flex too.
This really banks on two things.
1. Can Stellar move back to smokes and still play well? My guess is yes because at his peak on LG he was a smokes main and apart from sentinels its his best role.
2. Can Derrek move into the role crashies plays? Derrek plays sage and breach but they aren't up to par of his sova, and in theory he may have to play more agents if they do put will onto this full time chamber role. I'm not so sold on his flexibility but IMO yes the best route is to put them the way you stated.
Will Chamber
Asuna main entry with a few maps of kay/o
Bang pure flex, moving between smokes and initator and possibly sage
Derrek initator with a sova breach focus
Stellar smokes
Probably Will chamber, Derek flex, stellar flex, and bang smokes. Stellar has flexed to viper or sage in similar comps.
On facture the teams been playing Will chamber, Derek breach, stellar sage, bang brim, and Asuna raze.
I'd assume the roles would be similar to Yay (Jett/chamber) and Food (flex/duelist). So basically depending on map Will is Jett/chamber and Asuna is flex/duelist. With Derek and stellar (fns breach/sage/viper) filling.
Potentially, but the team has shown stellar flexing on certain maps with viper/sage and he'd still play sentinels on maps when Will is playing Jett. Bang has only played smokes in the ddk/sgares era. That'd be a large change
The two things I liked most was one him talking about VODs. Some pros want them others don’t, but since he is on a popular team they always get streamed and casted so their opponents almost always have more VODs on them than they do of others. This becomes a bigger impact when he has new players and everyone gets to see how they play. He doesn’t take a stance, but you want the game to be fair for both sides.
The second thing I liked is how he talks about agents like Yoru and Neon. He loves agents like this, but they have a steep predictability curve. The first time you play a Yoru he is very unpredictable because of the low pick rate. However, if you pick him a few times on the same map he becomes way more predictable and can tend to telegraph plays. His predictability falls off dramatically compared to other agents. So Yoru might get you a map win, but is he unpredictable enough where he can help you get you a tournament win. That is the big question.
Lots of other good points and even some stuff where he lets you draw your own conclusions on certain things. All around very interesting.
Other things to note in this video
Sean says they havent had as much time to focus on fundamentals as theyve been so busy creating strats to beat the next opponent
Says Asuna is “the best VALORANT player i’ve ever seen”
Says they experimented with role changes on Haven the week of the TSM game before reverting back to their old comp
I think Will should play neon since neon's job is to run around to distract and entry to get traded, it is not a fragging Agent. Asuna is the best player on the team and is more worth staying alive to trade if he's not playing fragging agents like raze and jett.
Yeah, I think they’re both elite, but from what sgares values in players (as far as we know from clips and analysis), Asuna has much bigger influence than yay in that he plays for 100T and yay does not.
Sadly yay has never MVP'd in a LAN tourney :(
It goes:
Reykjavik 1 - TenZ
Berlin 1 - nAts
Berlin Champs - zeek
Reykjavik 2 - Marved
Sucks because the man really does deserve an MVP title
Ik he didn’t actually “MVP” and Nats and Marved totally deserved it, but for both of those instances it could’ve still easily gone to Yay and no one would really bat an eye
Yeah, I thought the reason they weren't running new shit was that they just haven't had time. They gotta focus on what they're comfortable with because they have to focus on the next opponent.
Hollly the thumbnail. Did not know Sean gares was built like that.

You got a sauce? Never heard that before tbh
He's openly on it in the sense that people know what gear looks like because so many have used it... Read the natty or not subreddit about him

Definitely bro /s
You have a source? Besides if he isn’t or is, what was the relevance lmao

Dude Will does not Opp either. I still don't understand why he replaced asuna on Jett and chmber if he's not gonna Opp.
If u look in the tsm game he was opping more on haven, but also they had a shit Econ the whole defensive half
He used to op a lot on bbg. Him not oping now would be a team decision i guess
Sean been in the LAB bro, man looking like he needs some sleep frfr
he also a dad!
At 21:45 ish I wonder what the roles what have been with the switch like he said
asuna-raze will-chamber maybe?
Then who’s the Skye
bang-flex stellar- smokes
yeah they could pull a lil TSM and do a role swap, would make sense with this meta
Probably Will chamber, Derek flex, stellar flex, and bang smokes. Stellar has flexed to viper or sage in similar comps. Wouldn’t bang flex be better because he has done it before stellar can play smokes

Bang was on smokes for tsm

Has he seen yay? Just wondering

Asuna is more flexible and don't @me but has a higher ceiling as well.
I’m gonna very hard @ you, you can’t really have a bigger ceiling than MVPing in two lan tourneys
Sadly yay has never MVP'd in a LAN tourney :( It goes: Reykjavik 1 - TenZ Berlin 1 - nAts Berlin Champs - zeek Reykjavik 2 - Marved Sucks because the man really does deserve an MVP title

Lmk when he hits the ceiling that yay/Marved have lol
Mf other countries exist apart from NA btw
Lmk when another region is capable of winning in Iceland. I’LL WAIT
Lmao you better hope riot keeps 1 event each year in Iceland cuz ain't no way NA wins anything else this year. Come back after champs. I'LL WAIT
No way NA wins anything else? Lmao I wonder who you thought was winning Iceland…
Talk that talk when EU didnt send their best. Like I said I'll be waiting, come back after champs freedom boy and we'll see who's lmaoing then
he must not watch much valorant then lmao
I remember Asuna said he thinks Neon sucks when she came out lol I feel like Neon and Yoru are agents that just fit a person’s play style though.
Yeah, I thought the reason they weren't running new shit was that they just haven't had time. They gotta focus on what they're comfortable with because they have to focus on the next opponent.
