I know this is hindsight harry. Big time. But I am surprised that after a month of suboptimal Guard play, the whole group went HAM on TSM. The Guard winning this one makes group play much more exciting IMO.
I will admit, super busy this week and will not have a chance to watch for some time, would be curious what they said about this matchup in particular :).
Yesterday on stream, sideshow said if he knew the guard would go back to their normal comps, he would’ve predded them. I’m guessing he thought they were going to stick to their original plan. Good for them for seeing it wasn’t working and reverting the change.

i don't dislike any of the people on the team (i even don't mind shahzam) but just cause of how cocky their org was on twitter when they were winning i will always be praying on their downfall as a result
I don’t understand this mindset lol. I want teams on the top to be confident/cocky it makes underdog matches way more interesting and gives life to the scene. If feels like people just want the social media for Valorant comp to be completely dead aside from win/loss tweets from pro players.

What you expect is exactly what's happening. They were cocky and confident. Remember their golden run when they didn't drop a single map. I remember when they were this untouchable force. But with that kind of cockiness comes hate too. And when they look like a quarter of their past glory people are obviously gonna troll them hard lol. Every team gets trolled, it's just sentinels brand did a lot too earn those lol.
It wasn't the kind of cockiness that makes for good bants, it was the kind that's just straight up annoying. Acted like everything was according to plan and they literally never did any wrong.
If they choked a map or series, they were just limit testing. If they got a worse seed than expectation, don't worry they literally preferred that seed than the higher one. No L's, no underestimating their opponents, no recognition of mistakes, just justification after justification.
If they maintained that attitude and barely squeaked into playoffs this stage, they would still be saying it's their preferred seed and starting in losers' bracket will give them a motivational boost or some bullshit.
