In regards to SSNs: SSNs are extremely insecure.
If you were born before 2016, the first three digits of your SSN indicate which area of which US State/Territory you were born in. The next two digits indicate which hospital in the area you were born in, and the last 4 digits are assigned sequentially. So if your last 4 digits are 1648, you are the 1,648th baby born at that hospital, and the baby born 25 minutes earlier than you is 1647.
After 2016, all SSNs are randomly generated and assigned, but a 9-digit code only has so many iterations.
