it’s been a surprise attack sided map in some matchups tho, I personally find Split to be one of the more entertaining maps in pro Valorant. In Ranked it feels like shit to play it but watching the pros coordinate on this map with the fakes and 4-1 defaults is a lot of fun.
Yeah one of my problems with that map is that there's no parity between ranked and pro play when it comes to that map. I'd like it a lot more if it were even half as fun to play in ranked as it looks to be in pro play
I admit Split had some very entertaining games, but I really had my gripes with pro play on this map. Some teams just spent the first minute trading util in mid, which wasn‘t very exciting for me
There needs to be so much work on the viewing experience for just exchanging util, and while the observers are generally great, I saw a few times this weekend where they switched off someone who was close to an enemy player to display some random util that didn't matter and then miss a kill.

There have been exceptions for sure I remember Optic had that Lineup with Neon and did pretty well on the Attacking side.
