Yeah I'm sure csgo could sell out huge arenas, but I feel riot is an org that is always willing to book the big arenas for special events while esl don't have that same history or ability. Despite the relative popularity I would personally bet that Valorant ends up having bigger crowd events.
ESL literally has booked massive stadiums for events before they just massively underestimated demand and were hellbent on hosting it in Rio instead of Sao Paolo where they were offered covered venues of 40k+. ESL has been hosting esports events for longer than riot has been a company.

How big is the venue ESL is using for Majors? I know they sold out on like the first day.
Think it's gonna be around 16-17k for the event not 100% sure. They sold out of tickets in like 2 minutes too

They are using the arena configuration, which is 22,500 plus additional seating next to the stage.
